It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It was pretty good. There were no additional charges. They did a good job quickly.

The entire experience was awesome. The communication prior to the work and the work itself were perfect. I couldn't be more pleased. We already have a plan for more work in October.

They wanted us to through away the garbage as they would not do that !

There were four men who each took a different task. They were quick and thorough, in and out in approximately one hour.

Purchased voucher and in the section about selected preferred date of service(which gave dates within the next week)selected dates within the week. Was contacted 2 days later from provider to provide contact info and to schedule. Then received an email not scheduling until August 4.

Great service all around. Excellent customer service, and very personable staff. They even waived our inspection fee! Highly recommend this service.

I made contact, a date was arranged. I have a small yard, front and back but overgrown with weeds. I needed them to come before the scheduled date, and they came thru like champs. My yard both front and back are very nice. I will be adding flowers, stone and mulch to enhance the look. I would use them again. Highly recommend them.

I purchased a 3 man hour deal for yard work. A four man crew showed up on the scheduled date, including the owner, so we received an extra "man hour" than we were expecting. They were pleasant, worked steadily and completed the scope of work I requested. They made a huge improvement in the hour they were here. I would use them again.

Called C&A Chimney and had a time setup for them to come to our residence to do an inspection and clean. The window of time was from 11-1 that someone would be at our house to fulfill the job. We called at 12:30 to confirm that someone was coming and had to leave a message. Received a phone call back around 1 stating that they made a mistake and took us off the schedule. They said that they would make it right. The owner Tim Anderson then called and schedule a time for that evening. The owner and his employee arrived and were getting things setup up. Then he apologized and said that the employee forgot to bring the hose for the vacuum. We then agreed to meet the next morning at 8am. At 8:15, we called and left a message and then left the residence. Received a phone message at 8:30am stating that he was there waiting at 8:25. We called him back. He didn't call to state that he was running late or anything like that. He then stated why didn't we call. I stated that we agreed to meet at 8:00am and it wasn't our responsibility to call if he wasn't there. He stated that's asking a lot of me because he arrived at 8:25am. We would not recommend using C&A Chimney due to the lack of professionalism and was given 3 different chances to complete the job.

They were fine. They laid some mulch. They did a good job, and although there were a couple areas where the mulch wasn’t spread evenly, I would use them again for the price.

It was an average experience. They cleaned-up, but they certainly didn't cleanup as well as I expected them to. There were a lot of pieces left in my yard. They were polite and a family-run business which I appreciated. Overall, I wasn't that impressed with them though.

I purchased a Big Deal, I think its a great value. It went very well they put done tarps and had a very powerful vacuum.

Tim arrived with hard-working guys and large trash bags to clear 'out of control' English Ivy around 2 sides of our son's home. They filled 16 bags full of brush and debris from the landscape. Wonderful Job!

the cleaning went well, although there were three appointments that were missed by the provider

It went well, a little over an hour. They had a three-man crew, put down lots of tarps and kept the living room clean- even cleaned the fireplace doors afterwards.There was an extra $35 charge since it was a masonry chimney (which I missed in the original quote) but for the service given I was OK with that. Although very dirty, there was no internal damage requiring repairs and he didn't try to upsell me any of that. Will call him again in 2-3 years.,

Tim was professional and easy to deal with. I will use this company again in the future.

They were okay; they did what I asked them to do. The staff worked hard. I thought the package that I bought for this service was fine.

They did a great job, and even a few little extras!!

After not being able to make the original appointment because of work that took longer, they came by and started around 8 PM and came back the next day to finish the job. It took them longer than the deal so I paid $99 for each additional hour. A slight billing error occurred but it was handled quickly and professionally.

I purchased two Big Deals ($99 ea) which they honored, plus was charged an additional $150 for work done beyond the amount of labor covered by the two Big Deals. For the actual work done, I would say they did a decent job. I would consider using their service again, but I would insist on meeting with them or being at home at time of service to review my work list with them and walk around the yard to be sure they noted everything to be done. I had provided a very detailed, descriptive list ahead of time but was unable to come home on the day they arrived to do my work since they couldn't guarantee a day/time that they would arrive. There were several things on my list that were not addressed at all. However, to be fair, they charged me for their actual time to do what work they did complete, so it's not like I paid for work that wasn't done (based on trust since I wasn't there to observe amount of time spent). More importantly, before carefully reading my list, they removed two of the wrong shrubs. They called as soon as they realized the mistake and apologized (which I appreciated) and offered to plant something (plants I would purchase) in their place or adjust my final bill accordingly, but there was no reference to any adjustment on invoice so I don't know for sure if it was taken into account. I still have quite a bit more landscape clean-up work to be done yet. I don't know if they didn't want to do the rest of the work or just didn't read my list very carefully, but I think I will shop around and actually meet with potential providers this next time instead of just talking on the phone and/or communicating via email. Lesson learned.

I purchased the Big Deal; contacted provider. He scheduled a day that I wouldn't be here, but told him he could do it without me. I took phone pictures of the areas to work on, and left descriptions of what to do. Came home and it was great! Weeding done, cutting back of bushes done, things cleaned up done. Looked good!

It was an excellent experience! Unfortunately my Husband gave me the incorrect number of yards - but it was no problem and Tim came back and finished the job. In all cases this company exceeded our expectations! It was a relief to have our plants taken care of so quickly....

Best money I have ever spent. In three hours, these guys did what would take me a whole weekend to do. I have asked them to come back out for more help with the yard after our brutal winter. In addition, they were very flexible with me on scheduling, which was great! Don't hesitate to buy this deal if it comes back up again. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for the Fall 3 hour deal :-)

Although C&A said that it would respond to my request for their services within 2 days, they did not call or e-mail. Six days later, I called them, and they said they did not mow lawns. This is one of the services I had requested from their ad,and paid for. I emailed to set a date to have my shrubs trimmed. The date they gave me was 3 weeks later. That would have made it 4 weeks from the time I initiated contact with them. That was too long to wait. I cancelled my service with them. Very time-consuming,frustrating and disappointing.

Excellent! They were on time and did a great job on the chimney. They took the time to show me how everything worked and in the end, they cleaned up so you wouldn't even know they had been there (except that the fireplace was a lot cleaner). I would definitely use them again.
