Tim was very knowledgeable and professional. However, he took awhile to respond to my messages and forgot about an appointment and had to reschedule.

They called to say that they were running late and I am glad that they let me know that. They also laid sheets in my living room before working with the fireplace and I appreciated that, too. However, they were in our home for less than a half hour, and since we burn wood fires almost every night in the winter, the chimney must have had some creosote buildup. It had been several years since the last cleaning, so I suspect that our flue was dirty. I don't feel certain that they really cleaned it, but I can't tell. Other chimney service people have spent much more time cleaning the chimney, and some have gone up on the roof to check for problems. These people did not do this. Lastly, they charged me an extra fee at the end of the work session, saying that they charge $30 more for masonry fireplaces. They should have indicated this clearly up front, before performing the work. I was disappointed by this. I paid the amount, but I will not hire them again.

Tim and his crew did a very nice job on our yard/landscaping cleanup. It really gave the house a nice curb appeal.

Tim and his crew arrived promptly at the appointed time. After a brief discussion re what we wanted done, they went to work immediately and didn't stop until the two hours, (which was the time allotted for three workers), was over. We were amazed that they could accomplish so much in such a short amount of time. We're planning to have them back to do a few more things. Highly recommended!

They did a thorough job and were very careful to make sure they cleaned up. The technician was very helpful in answering my questions about my gas log fireplace. He was patient in rearranging the logs so they gave off just the right look.

I bought a big deal and they immediately sent me an email and got me scheduled. There was a team that came to do the cleaning and inspection so it was very fast. They answered all of my questions and walked me through the condition of my chimneys. Absolutely no mess was left. I was very impressed with this company and will likely use them again for this service and try them for the lawn services they offer.

It was fine. They didn't charge more. They didn't come the first time they were supposed to come. They had to call in. They had to cancel it and come back. Other than that, they're fine.

It turned out okay but I had difficulties. There was something that they were going to do in addition to what they were here for but I can never get them to send me an estimate. They quoted the estimate online and I specifically asked them for paper estimates and they said okay no problem we'll send you that. Well I never got it I called them and I spoke with a guy I think was the owner. I never got an estimate so I didn't bother with them. I don't not to use them again in the future other than they didn't follow my request. That was the only thing I was unhappy about with them. So I just didn't bother anymore you know or I didn't call anymore.

That one was a disappointment. My husband had seen another deal on landscaping and he didn't get it and he knew I wanted to get something done out there because our children are grown and whatever so we can't really do it ourselves too much. So that one was gone So when he went to look again the C&A Chimney & Lawn Maintenance Services place was up and that was the only one we were ever disappointed in. They did try to make it right in one respect because we wanted them to pull things out and they were just chopping it with the weed whackers instead of actually pulling the stuff out or digging the stuff out they were just weed whacking it. Well I could have weed whacked it myself. So they came back because they missed a piece of equipment and so my husband was kind of telling them that we were kind of disappointed in it and especially this one area. So they went ahead and put some chemical down and it was only because we were talking to them. They had four people so they were pretty much done in an hour.

We have had C&A's out for three years now. They are easy to deal with, responsive, and do a great job getting our yard in shape.

Once we finally coordinated the job went seamlessly. They rescheduled twice but both times with a timely phone call and when they arrived they worked till they completed the project. They cleaned up after themselves, didn't damage anything and I plan to use them regularly.

It was great. I purchased a "big deal" from Angie's List. They contacted me by phone and email to set up a time. I had to cancel my first appointment, and they were able to reschedule me quickly. When they arrived, Tim introduced himself and gave me a card. His team worked efficiently to sweep the chimney. They even took extra care by placing dropcloths on the floor from the front door to the Chimney! When they were done, they cleaned everything up, and you wouldn't have even know that they there.

I bought a big deal through Angie's List for 6 hours of lawn clean-up. They did an excellent job, so I had them back to do more work. I will definitely use them again.

Friendly. Laid down tarps and cleaned up. Have good advice. No high pressure up sell. Very happy.

These guys are rock stars. They worked hard and were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They could identify actual weeds vs. native plants while weeding and even offered to do a few extra little things in the adjacent beds when they finished with the main job as part of the deal. I scheduled another project the following week and they cleared ivy from the garage and tidied up the rest of the flower beds and pruned a tree. They're fantastic.

Service was good. Provider brought drop clothes to cover the floor around the chimney, though some soot still got on the carpet. Also, one provider brought a lit cigarette into my house, though I think he probably forgot he had it in his hand, as he went back outside very quickly. Both providers were extremely friendly and worked quickly.

They were very booked so it took a while for them to get me on the calendar.

It took Tim and his crew about 45 minutes to conduct the chimney sweep and inspection. They prepped the area and cleaned up after themselves - leaving no mess behind. They were very professional and provided a few tips on how we can best use our fireplace blower. Scheduling the service with Sheri was simple and easy - even when I had to reschedule and change the dates. Great service and experience - will use again in the future.

It went very well. Went directly to work, did the full 6 hours of total work.
