Description of Work: he called to say he was going to be late. then he was later than the apt time. he just did not seem to competent. since I know nothing about chimneys, I could not check his work. he spent a lot of time laying tarps down, but the time he spent in the actual cleaning was short. |I expected him to inspect the outside chimney, but he never went on the roof.

Description of Work: I was able to get an appointment within 2 days of calling. Tim gave me an appointment window of 12-2 but asked if he were later if that would be ok. I told him it was. He arrived around 3. Extremely courteous and conscientious- provided me with a business card immediately at the front door before coming in. Used great care to tarp the floor where he was walking from the fireplace to the door, kept the work area clean. Did a thorough job sweeping the fireplace - informed me of the condition of my fireplace box, flu and doors and gave some tips of what we could do if we wanted to reinforce the box (some cracking), replacement parts, etc. Cleaned the fireplace doors (glass) thoroughly. He was very careful cleaning up and left the house as he found it. Will definitely use again! Tim is chatty, hence why I think he runs late on his arrival times. If you are in a hurry, I would suggest leaving him to his work. :) Otherwise, you will enjoy a pleasant conversation with a very nice professional.

Description of Work: Cleaned chimney, provided visual inspection of chimney. I had hoped they'd have a camera for the inspection so they could actually look up the chimney but I don't believe they did.
