Tim is Certified and specializes in Chimney Liner and Chimney Sweep through CSIA (Chimney Saftey Institute of American - #7380). He is also a Master Gardener. C&A's Chimney Sweep and Lawn Maintenance Services is a sole-proprietor company. The company is insured. I am willing to travel as far as 30 minutes (without travel cost) away from my place of business.

Description of Work: C&A responded quickly and setting up an appointment was easy. They arrived on time and were careful to take precautions to protect our carpeting during the chimney sweeping process. In addition to the $119 Chimney Sweep and Inspection deal we purchased, we were charged an additional $35 as a surcharge. As we did not have any extra work done, I am not sure what the surcharge was for. While C&A did quality work and we would have hired them to perform chimney repairs they did not seem interested in taking on any additional work.

Description of Work: Came prepared with tools and protective covers to clean one wood burning fireplace. On safety inspection determined all 3 fireplaces that had not been used for some time were in good shape and OK to use, no cleaning needed at this time. Gave recommendations for proper use along with suggested maintenance to be done in future. Pleasant, timely, and professional.

Description of Work: they were very careful not to track any debri from the fireplace or their equipment. They placed runners all along my floors and were very courteous. I feel better about using my fireplace knowing it was cleaned and inspected.
