Originally my wife and I purchased a car off carmax. They did good job, but when it came down to Butler Kia, provided a better car-NEW! Bought the car with 1.9% interest, RJ PHENOMENAL JOB INCLUDING THE SALES REP KEVIN!! Seriously, Kevin was a no pressure sales rep. I would highly recommend this company and their team, warranty 200,000 mile on engin and train, just phenomenal, solid program, solid price. Best deal in town.

The sales people made the whole car buying process fun and easy. I didn't put the price I paid for the car, but felt I was treated fairly and got the best deal I could. They helped my wife and I decide on the right vehicle for our family. And since we keep our cars for a long time, we couldn't pass up the 20 year/200,000 mile warranty on the powertrain. WOW! I love the new car and would recommend anyone to them. They are great!

We purchased a Certified used Lexus from this dealership. At first we were blown away by the quality of the service and the responsiveness to our questions. Our car was and quot;Certifiedand quot; with an official Certified Inspection Report, listing the deficiences of the car. While the report listed the tires as a deficiency, it was apparent that the tires had not been replaced as recommended by the report. We were assured, however, that all of the other deficiencies had been addressed and repaired in order to qualify the car as Certified. We voluntarily purchased all new tires. After the purchase was complete, we took the car to the local Lexus dealership in order to register it for future service and for an overall inspection. We found that the brakes had not been repaired/replaced as we had been assured. We paid Lexus $900 to do the work, then reported back to Butler Kia that we expected to be reimbursed for having to pay for brake work that we were assured had already been done. The manager eventually approved a partial refund of our $900 (approximately 2/3) expense, after many weeks of wrangling. Ironically, his validation for not paying our entire brake repair bill was that Butler Kia and quot;could have replaced the brakes @ a lesser charge.and quot; Well, yes, they could have and they told us that they already had. Essentially, what could have been a really great transaction report was soured completely by outright falsification of the car's paperwork.

THey did certify the car was leaking water but falsely claimed it was coming from the trunk, and falsely claimed the trunk was missing a trunk panel.but as Ray Skillman checked, the Kia I had never had an inner trunk panel assembled from the factory. Butler also ignored the problem from the left side of the tail lamp (Skillman eventually took care of the problem). As a result of Butler's misdiagnosis, I took it back to MAACO, where MAACO messed it up some more and I had to take it to Skillman. Butler cost me an extra ten days of getting the problem resolved. This applies to my 2009 Kia Rio.
Description of Work: Had Bulter Kia evaluate where the water leak in my car was coming from, and if possible do repairs under warranty.

Description of Work: I went to Butler Kia to buy a new car. I worked with Tim Gallagher and he is amazing! When I went the first time he knew that i still wanted to look around and didn't push a sale that day at all. He was very informative and professional, not a typical pushy car sales guy. It was very refreshing, as I had been to some other dealers in town, where that was not the case. I had such a good first meeting with him, that I went back for a serious look where Tim helped me pick something in my price range with most of the features that I wanted. He and Stephanie (the finance person at Butler) did some great work with the financing companies to get me a great rate and deal. The only thing that I did not like was that Tim never went over the numbers with me before they started the paperwork. It somewhat made me upset because everything was printed off to sign without seeing everything written out first. But they obviously explained it all and showed all the line items clearly before I signed, which were great anyway, so there was no need to redraft them. I received a follow up call a few days after from Tim to make sure everything was going ok, which I thought was very nice. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful. I would buy another car from them and would definitely recommend them to everyone, especially Tim, he knows his stuff and isn't pushy. He puts your needs above the fact that he needs to move cars off the lot. And you can't beat a 20 yr/ 200,000 mile warranty!

We had already contacted another dealer in town with little success. We were advised by an out of town dealer that a vehicle meeting our specifications was available in nearby states. For the intent of convenience we contacted Butler Kia by phone. Steve advised that a new model was found and could be transfered to Indinapolis if we paid a deposit. We visited the dealer but it didn't go very well. During the very first meeting the dealer seemed to discourage us from seeking the vehicle that needed to be transfered. We were told that their was an 80% chance that we would have to order the car we wanted. A $100 deposit was required up front however. The vehicles 'to be transfered' didn't materialize. During the second visit we intended to 'order' Kia Soul with the desired options. Steve didn't seem to be interested in taking our order. He wanted to wait to see what would some in on their 'next shipment' since Butler didn't have a Soul that met the minimum requirements. We were looking for specific options. It became obvious that the salesman wasn't interested or able to order a vehicle with the desired options. It was odd and unknown to us why Steve the salesman wouldn't at least attempt to negotiate a deal on one of the Soul models Butler did have on hand. My wife made a number of additional attempts to make contact Steve by teleohone. During one conversation she made a cash offer for a new Kia Soul with specific options. Steve did not accept or reject the offer. It was ignored. Once it became apparent that we would not be able to secure via from Butler we contacted Bob Rohrman Kia in Lafayette, IN. We worked out all the details and agreed on a price over the phone. The vehicle was delivered as promised with no other problems. Assuming Butler Kia is in the business of selling new cars, along with the sluggish economy, we're puzzled as to why the salesman wouldn't do whatever is within his power to get us into a new Kia as desired. I suppose Steve sells enough cars and one more or less didn't matter.
Description of Work: My wife and I attempted to purchase a KIA Soul from Steve the salesman at this dealer. We visited the location on a number of occasions attempting to puchase the new vehicle. My wife was seeking specific options that the manufacturer lists as available.. The sale was to be cash only with no financing needed.

They checked everything out. At the end, I was smart enough to read my invoice and noted that they charged me for oil anyway. I reminded them of my service order and they did take off the oil off my bill. If it had not been for that mistake, I would have awarded them an A overall.
Description of Work: REMINDER The rest of the reports you see after this one are related to Ford cars. The reason is that Kia took over the place in lieu of a Ford dealership two or three years ago. This is probaby the first one on a Kia. Performed 7500 mile service. At my request, did not do oil change because I had my oil change elsewhere and oil change was not due until 9119 miles.

THE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE WAS POLITE AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. THE SERVICE THEY DID ON MY TRUCK WAS GREAT. THE SHOP IS AMERICAN AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION APPROVED ALSO. THE PRICE TO DO THE REPAIR WAS A BIT EXPENSIVE.

MY HUSBAND AND I SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT TO COME IN FOR A TEST DRIVE. THE SALESMAN (JOE STICKLER) THAT ASSISTED US WAS VERY HELPFUL AND PATIENT WITH US. WE TEST DROVE 2 VEHICLES (IN THE POURING RAIN!) THEY WERE ABLE TO HELP US GET THE BEST TRADE IN PRICE FOR OUR CAR. WE BOUGHT THE CAR AND DROVE IT OFF THE SHOWROOM FLOOR (LITERALLY!)
