Building Curves

Description of Work: Hired to build kitchen cabinets. Rick was easy to get in touch with initially. He came out and measured, then called us to measure, because he had lost his measurements. As the cabinets were made, we had to pick them up, as he didn't have room for them at his shop, and never had gas money to deliver them. Once we had most of the cabinets, he asked for the balanced owed, because (insert sad story here). We paid him, and he didn't return to install or answer his phone. When he did show up (after we badgered him) he said "Since I've been paid, it's like I'm working for free. I have to drum up new business." He also admitted to being addicted to pills, and needing a steady stream of money. In the end, after months of threatening, begging, and shaming, we got the cabinets installed. Except for the one he forgot to build... And the doors to a few that he forgot. We eventually had to hire another company to make those. Because Rick could no longer be bothered to do it.
