I am not at all pleased with the service by Tom. Instead of taking 6 days, it took 30 (15 working days). He was adamant that he be allowed to purchase the supplies from Lowe's because he receives a 10% discount (which was true) and he wanted to pass that discount onto me. I requested the receipts from all the materials he bought for the project and I searched each item number on Lowe's website. There were numerous items I never remember him using for my project. There were also several other items he used on my project but then kept afterward (even though I reimbursed him for that tool). He also charged us for every blade that was worn out or broken on our project. We were also charged a labor fee for him to redo parts of the project we were not happy with causing us to pay for him to fix his mistake after we already paid him the first time to do it wrong. Our project is still not complete, but we are over budget $1700. Tom is a smooth talking nice guy to your face. It is easy to believe he is looking out for your best interests. I personally feel cheated of both time and money. I am taking the time to write this review because Tom has no website or any reviews anywhere. Prior to using him, I did my due diligence researching his company. I checked Angie's List at that time and there was no record of his company. It is my hope that my review will be posted giving warning to others who may be considering using Tom to complete projects.
