We found Bruns via reviews on Angie's List when looking for a new mechanic close to home. Bruns lived up to their reputation on Angie's List! Not only did they finish the work faster than expected but they also charged us a full $100 under their initial estimate! Their work was of the highest quality, they didn't try to talk us into unnecessary repairs and got us back on the road as quickly as possible. We'll be taking all of our vehicles to Bruns from now on!

I decided to go with this company because of their reviews on Angie's List. My check engine light came on and I thought it could be a few different things so I decided to have them check it out. Normally when I take my car into a shop I'm always afraid of someone will try to rip me off because I know nothing about cars. They didn't do it. In fact, they actually recommended me to a different place because of what was wrong with it. They said they could do it but would have to charge a lot more because of the issue. They also told me that once I get my catalat converter changed that might solve the issues and if not they will fix the rest for me. I fully trust this company with my car needs and I will be using them in the future when my car breaks down. I have already recommended them to a friend.

It was planned ahead to allow the garage a chance to check the source of oil leak. Took me home and picked me up when work was finished.

Great experience working with the guys at Bruns Auto Service. I went to a different auto place for an alignment recently and they mentioned that I needed new rotors and pads in the front of my car. I wasn't impressed by their overall service or price, so I wanted a second opinion. Found friendly, quick service that was priced very fair at Bruns. I will definitely go again and highly recommend you give them a shot.

We have been customers of Bruns Auto Service for years and have always found them to be knowledgeable and honest. Their facility is dated but I'd much rather have the security of knowing that they'll be honest and guarantee their service.

They repaired it in 24 hours even though I hadn't warned them I was coming in. I have used their services for over 30 years. Tires, batteries, repairs, oil changes, etc. Have always given me good service. When husband was ill, they picked up car and returned it to me. Fair prices and good service are what they are known for.

I've been using Brun's for many years and have always been very satisfied with their professionalism and quality of work. On a number of occasions, they told me about issues that could be fixed, but the cost would exceed the value (leaking air conditioner compressor on an old vehicle. At every visit they have given me good reason to trust them. And on nearly every visit the work has been completed same day. Sure hope they stay around for as long as I'll need auto service!

I was way overdue for rear brakes. They fit me in the following day, called within an hour with an estimate, and got it done exactly at the time and price they estimated. They did the work for $50 less than the quote I got from my old repair place across town. I love both the atmosphere and people at Bruns; it's a little simple place in a residential neighborhood, they spend money on good mechanics instead of a fancy waiting room, the 'new guy' on staff has been there 20 years, and they were respectful and professional but friendly. I really trust them. This job was pretty straightforward, but I'd feel confident quizzing them about more complicated repairs. It's exactly the kind of place I like to find, since it means I never have to look for another auto repair place again.

I called Bruns in the morning hoping to get an appointment that day. They were booked up but told me that if I could leave my car they would squeeze it in between other appointments that day. I dropped of my car and about 4 hours later got a call saying it was done. I appreciated they were able to squeeze me in before I had to go on a trip for Thanksgiving. This was my second experience with Bruns and both have been excellent.

I dropped my car off at Bruns in the morning when the opened. They got the work done in just over an hour. No-hassle experience and the price was reasonable.

They give excellent service. They are very reliable and honest. They tell me exactly what it is and explain it very carefully since I am not very knowledgeable about cars.

As always Bruns Auto Service did a great job. They have told me several times that I didn't need something done to my cars, so I knew it was true when they said that the hub bearings needed to be replaced. The job was done in a timely fashion and they always are careful to not get the interior dirty. I will continue to drive 8 miles to get my cars serviced at Bruns.

These people are great. They're very good to explain what the car needs and what is wrong. I've used them for over 20 years. I go to them and they're honest. They do good work. If it's not right, take it back, and they'll make it right. They'll figure out if it wasn't something they repaired to start with. It's a good place. I don't take my car back to the dealer because I know the dealer is going to take me to the cleaners. On price, stuff's expensive. I have no problem with what they do. I use them and I recommend them. My older sons take that have repair work take their cars to them. They are a group of brothers. I know them and they do good work. I will continue to go there.

I used their services previously and they were great. We don't live in the area anymore and that is why we don't currently use their services.

They are pretty good. I like their pricing and their honesty. They have got a pretty crappy building and sometimes they aren't in the greatest mood. They always are straight-shoot as far as what needs to be done or doesn't need to be done. Some people don't like that. They like going to places that are nice and clean. This place is not like that. As long as the car is getting fixed, it doesn't matter to me.

They provide excellent service and they stand behind their work. I would take my car here again.

We dropped car off on Monday and picked it up on Wednesday morning, which we were told would be the case from the beginning. They said they typically have cars in and out in one day, but the particular mechanic to do this job wouldn't be back until Wednesday morning. So, we were fine knowing that ahead of time, but it would have been nice to have car worked on immediately. We had a call first thing Wednesday morning telling us what the problem was and how much it would cost. We were able to pick it up at 1:00, which we felt was very quick. We did not call other places to see what the charge would be for this type of job so maybe the price is very reasonable, but the part was only $20 and the rest was labor which is usually the case, but just seemed like a lot but maybe it wasn't. Also, when we picked up the car we went inside to pay and then were told the keys were on the floor of the car that was parked outside. That didn't seem very secure, knowing that if this is standard practice then everyone knows that keys are laying in unlocked cars for anyone to come along and steal the cars. We will ask that they keep the keys inside next time. Overall, it was a good experience. My family has used them for over 20 years and says they have always been an honest and fair company to work with. Having an auto shop that is very honest is a rare find so we won't hesitate to go to them again!

We called four different places and decide to try this company based on their Angie's List reviews, price, and friendly phone estimate. We were able to drop off the car in the morning and drop the keys in the drop slot before work and picked it up after work. They called us before they did any work to verify the price and work to be done. They were extremely nice and did a great job. We found our new mechanic.

My neighbor told me his father in law had always recommended Brun's and along with the good recommendations from Angie's list I decided to give them a try since they were close to home. Turns out that the loud engine noise was actually an exhaust problem, and although they could fix it, they advised to take it to a muffler shop because they could fix it considerably cheaper. I really appreciated their honesty and will keep them in mind for future use.

As usual, they got me in very quickly the next day, in my case. I dropped my car off in the morning and picked it up on the way home from work (they called to let me know that it was ready by noon), and I haven't had any problems with it since. These guys are great- they do everything, they're honest, and reasonably priced. I also dropped off a flat tire the other day without giving them any notice, and they had it done in a few hours. I'd recommend Brun's to anyone looking for car repairs, big or small.
