Brown's Flooring

They did a great job. There was a manufacturing flaw with the carpet and they arranged for the manufacturer to replace it. They then ultimately installed it. So they stood behind the product and really went the extra mile to get things taken care of. Their full service in general stood out to me. They were very pleasant to deal with. Their price was very fair. They did a real good job. I will definitely use them again in the future.

They did a good job. They were highly-rated. They were easy to work with. The service was good. The owner was easy to work with. The installation was very quick. The overall experience was really good. Everything was good. Price was good. I would give A on all categories.

This isn't the first time I've used them. The kitchen floor isn't right and the carpet is coming up around the edges. They came out and tried to fix it but it wasn't fixed right. I'll be using someone else next time. The quality of the product is fine, but the service is not.

We went to the store and looked at the products. Bob and his wife introduced themselves and then let us look around without constantly bugging us. We picked several samples out and then made arrangements for an estimate. Bob was on time for the interview, very professional and personable. He contacted us with the estimate just like he said he would and we accepted. The work started on time and again everything went according to schedule. The installers were always on time and cleaned up each day. They were also polite and worked non stop twhile on the job. We are very happy with the product and workmanship. We would highly recommend them.

The estimate process was great. The owners are pleasant, caring people. The installers were prompt and very professional. We love our floor and would definitely use this company again.

We went into Brown's Flooring on a Saturday, spoke with Bob Workman and he helped us choose a type of carpet and sent us home with samples. We returned with our decision and he came out the following Thursday and measured the rooms and areas and gave us a price. We agreed, and were very pleased since the installers would be moving the furniture for us!!! Bob called us back in day and we were set on a date less than 2 weeks later. The installers (Kevin and Tom, I believe) were really nice (like Bob Workman) and professional. They were on time, courteous, asked questions when needed and were really careful moving furniture about the house!!! I even wanted to feed them lunch, but they worked on thru the day . When they finished they swept the little pieces of carpet and carefully moved the furniture back into the rooms. (we had the living room, master bedroom, the stairs and upstairs hall redone by Brown's Flooring). A room next to the hall had a wrinkle in the carpet and one of the guys took the wrinkle out!!! We love the new carpet and would definitely use Brown's Flooring in the future and tell others about them!!! Thank you Bob and Kevin and Tom!!!

Great family business. A son helped me with the selection of carpet, the dad came out and measured and wrote up the sale, and their great installers, Tom & Keith arrived on time and did a beautiful job. I have now ordered more carpet to be installed in a few weeks.

We had them install a carpet we picked out from their showroom on the 14 steps that lead up to our floor. They had it bound on the edges too. The carpet was 31" wide on the steps, not wall to wall. We didn't get another quote, but we felt like the price was reasonable based on their estimate and after the reviews we read on Angei's List. We picked a slightly more expensive carpet too. My wife was the one present, but she claimed they did a great job. I would agree after looking at the steps. They look great. Wouldn't definitely use them in the future.

They refinished our hardwood floors. Their work was excellent. They moved all of the furniture out and then back in again. Not all of it went in the right place, but most did. They did a nice job keeping the house clean.

He came out and installed flooring in a small bathroom. It all went well.

Great service. Everything went very smoothly. The carpet was installed very well. Bob's staff installed the vinyl flooring in the studio - he was thorough, friendly and did a great job. We had previously purchased FLOR carpet tile and they installed that for us as well - did a much better job than we could have ever done. We were very happy with their service, they are friendly and knowledgable and the price was quite reasonable. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

At the store we were shown several different types and grades of carpeting and took samples of two different types and colors home to put against our walls. .Bob Workman came to the house, measured and quoted a price for the quality carpet we chose that matched our estimate. His measurement matched that of our insurance company and my own measurement unlike an earlier bidder who added 100 square feet to the area to be covered and was charging more for an inferior grade carpet. The installers arrived on time, and worked steadily and professionally. Unfortunately there wasn't quite enough to finish the stairs, but they were able to improvise a temporary solution and a week later finished the job. We will definitely call them first when we need their services in the future and highly recommend them.

Visited the store and bob gave me a number of samples to take home. The next week he came to the house during which he provided recommendations. A few weeks later they came out and installed the carpet over a two day period. All went very well and the company was easy to do business with. The installers were very skilled and they did a great job installing the carpet.

We have used Brown's Flooring for many years and in most rooms of our home for hardwood floors, laminate flooring, aggregate tiles, and now carpeting. They are an honest, hardworking family-owned company with long-term workers you can trust in your home. They are honest on what you need (and don't -- on more than one occasion to our favor and not theirs in simply making a sale; for a kitchen renovation involving floors they had installed years earlier, they removed the flooring and came back and reinstalled it for nominal labor cost). Bob (the owner) comes and measures/quotes all jobs. On this most recent occasion, they were patient when we discovered water damage requiring interim contractors before coming back to remove old carpet and padding and install all new. They got done early, used premium padding and carpeting, and even reinstalled speaker wires etc. through the carpet where previously existed (but called first to confirm). The only thing they don't do is ceramic tile floors, but for everything else they are all we will ever use for any flooring needs - and no job is too small because they also quoted to stretch old carpets in some parts of our house. I just realized that despite many years of high satisfaction, I had neglected to review this company. In our opinion, they are one of the best, honest, reasonably priced, professional for most flooring needs, and deserving of our business.

Bob was responsive & a pleasure to work with. We didn't choose him because we needed someone ASAP and he didn't have the carpet in stock which is a bummer because Bob was wonderful!

After VERY CAREFULLY reviewing all the higher-rated flooring providers in our area on Angie's List, we determined that Brown's would be the best vendor for us to work with. We made an appointment to meet with Bob in the store. He was VERY helpful in addressing our questions, concerns, and desires. He walked us through the process of finding the best quality materials that met our needs AND our limited budget. He was very helpful in guiding us to what was best for us, preparing us for potential problems that might arise in the install, and creating a realistic expectation for us both in terms of installation AND in long-term wear-and-tear. (My long-time desire of having large indoor dogs during my retirement years must now be weighed upon their impact upon the wood flooring--who knew they could have such significant impact upon beautiful wood floors?...well I, for one, didn't previously realize--BUT Bob gave us all the information I feel we needed to make the right decisions for our home--which we anticipate living in for decades to come). The install went very well (from MY perspective...from their perspective they encountered several unanticipated problems (with MY house that would not have been evident when they made their estimate and required several additional days for several of the installers). The installers were very experienced and very professional. They also communicated well about what they were doing AND about what I could expect while they were here AND in years to come. The result? Well, first of all, the difference between walking on the old carpet & pad and the new carpet & pad (when Charles and Ricky were halfway done with the carpet install) was alone enough to make the investment seem worthwhile. The new pad is very comfortable to walk on. The details are impressive: the carpet install on the L-shaped stairway (with numerous edges exposed to the entryway) is very nicely done...as is the entire carpeting job. And the hardwood flooring looks and feels great--with nary a scratch thus far! Again George, Duane & Chris were great to work with and the result is excellent! It all looks beautiful! My summary of our experience with Bob and all those we worked with?...in a word--"PERFECT"

I met with many contractors and recieved many quotes before I hired Brown's to do my flooring. Bob and Shannon were by far the most professional and easy to work with. Brown's sent out three different installers, Hardwood, Carpet and Tile. Each was a professional and expert in that particular area. Each of them were great to work with. I couldn't be happier with my new floors!! I would recommend Brown's to anyone!!!!

He never did what he said he was gonna do.

They installed a new carpet in our finished basement. Bob Workman came out to measure, helped my wife find something within our budget. Their installers showed up righgt on time and did an excellent job moving a big desk and piano around as needed. About a year ago we had them install a tile floor in our kitchen. Again the experience was great. That was one reason we came back to Brown's. We did comparison shop and Brrown's was competitive in both instances.From start to finish they are professionals.
