Excellent. The woman who helped us choose a carpet was very helpful. She noted our needs, and picked out a number of samples to choose from, thus saving us the work of going through the entire store's supply.

They were very professional; Irene was very helpful and patient with me.

Ken started the job on a Monday and completed it on Saturday. He is a one man show and a perfectionist.

They were extremely punctual and professional. I was quite pleased with the person who did the work.

The showroom staff was very helpful and professional. The installers did a great job of keeping the work area as neat as possible. The installed flooring is beautiful.

We looked at laminate material several places before I found Brown's on Angie's List. You can tell as soon as you go in their store that they have been around for awhile and are serious about their business. We took several samples home twice before we found a wood-patterned design that worked with the 20-year-old oak cabinets in our kitchen and bath. The material was a little more expensive than I'd planned, but the effect is worth every penny.

Entire process went very smoothly. Sales staff was very helpful and informative. They also worked with us to get the work done before out-of-town guests arrived. Installation was excellent.

Irene, the salesperson was very helpful in the showroom by showing us different carpet samples. She also came out, measured everything and gave an estimate and was very helpful. The carpet installers, Charles & Brandon Hazelwood were excellent, also. They came out, laid the carpet in our driveway to let us see how it would look once installed. They even asked us if we wanted the carpet the lighter or dark way which we thought was very kind. They cleaned up very well when work was done. I would use them again.

They were pros from beginning to end. The help I got in the showroom was great! The man who came to give the bid was professional. The installers (father and son team) were professional, neat and friendly. I was comfortable having them in my home. I had a bit of sticker shock with the cost for inexpensive sheet vinyl in a small kitchen, but I will say they did a top notch job. No detail was overlooked, and my kitchen looks fabulous. There were many materials to choose from in the showroom, and I did not feel at all pressured to "buy up" to materials out of my budget. In fact, the saleslady was able to direct me to a top quality flooring with a discounted price. Hiring Brown's will be more expensive than getting the flooring from a hardware store, but the quality of the installation will be worth the difference in cost. I would use this company again.

Irene Slivka is an absolute pleasure to work with. The installations were scheduled for two sessions and both were on-time and accomplished with minimum disruption to the household. The hardwood installers were particularly adept when confronted with a VERY heavy piece of furnishing. You get what you pay for, and we received quality products expertly installed. I would recommend the Brown's team to even the fussiest customer without worry. This is my team.

THE PREPARATION CREW TOOK MUCH LONGER THAN WE OR THE CONTRACTOR ANTICIPATED. THE EVENTUAL RESULT WAS GOOD.

I have purchased flooring from Brown's in the past. Because of their excellent service, very professional and knowledgeable sales staff, competitive pricing, quality of work performed by their installers, and their Angie's List ratings, I do not look elsewhere. Ask for KEN. He does an outstanding job, hustles the entire time, doesn't watch the clock, and cleans up when he is through at the end of each day. Our home never looked like a disaster zone and everything was back where it belonged in the area where he had worked that day. Kens tells you of any problems that he encounters. Our washing machine was leaking oil which we didn't know. And, the hoses connecting the washer to the water valves in the wall weren't tightly secured. Ken fixed the hoses and placed heavy duty cardboard under the washer to protect the new flooring. My 21 year old washer has now been replaced.

Sales rep, Irene, was very knowledgeable about the product. A real pleasure to work with. The company went above and beyond what might be expected, when there was a factory error. I can't say enough good things about this experience.

The estimator came on time, he explained the entire process from estimating to installation. He covered all the costs involved from materials to labor, to removing and replacing furniture in the room. I never put carpet down before so that was important to know.

Top notch; deserving of the high rating. First, Irene came to the house and gave two estimates, based on different installation scenarios. She was very helpful and friendly. Before installation, she came out again (very punctual) and talked us through the entire process. Installation was done Wed-Fri. The guys installing were very friendly, worked extremely hard, and did excellent work. When I had questions during installation, they answered them completely and patiently. I would definitely recommend Brown's to others.

This was a fantastic company to work with. I had called Joyce early in the day to find out store hours. She met my husband & I & began asking relevant questions right away. She gave me a chair to sit in, as I just had surgery, & brought various selections to me. We settled on five samples to bring home and check with our rooms. Bob was prompt and efficient with his task of measuring & pricing. He checked the stock while still at the house & schedule 1st convenient time for me. The two workmen arrived exactly when it was stated they would and did an amazing job. They worked together great as a team and didn't waste anytime accomplishing the job. They were extremely polite, professional & efficient. They double checked with me if they had put everything back where it belonged and asked if I was satisfied with everything. I could not have had a better experience. The rug is an excellent quality. Flawless job. I will definitely use them again and will recommend them to others.

We selected Brown's Flooring because of their Angie's List customer reports, their competitive price and great service by Irene Slivka, their competent sales person there is very detail minded. She came over to our house after the job completion to check out the job. We're very pleased with the installation.

After searching several flooring stores, we found what we were looking for at Brown's Flooring. Irene was very helpful in the store with regard to assisting us in choosing the right flooring product. Irene also gave a very clear detailed estimate for the work. Ken was our installer, and he did an excellent job. He was very detail orientated, and made sure everything was correct and done to our satisfaction. We are very happy with the new flooring. We were not as happy with the fact that it took 4 days to complete the work, and 5 days of disarray in our house (over a holiday weekend). We were told 3 days would be enough to complete the job. We believe that two installers should have been sent for this job. As well, we planned each day on the installer arriving between 8:00-8:30 am as that was what we were told. That time was often off by an hour and a half. The quality of the work and the finished look of the floor makes up for the lack in punctuality and completion time.

After taking home several samples, I chose carpet and padding. The padding I chose is "pet friendly." That is, it repels moisture and has an enzyme in it to break down urine. Bob Workman, the owner, came by to measure and give me an estimate. Installation was scheduled and completed as scheduled. I was very pleased with the entire experience.

Working with Bob in the beginning was great; he sold himself to me immediately. However, that's where it stopped. I had left specific instructions to call me before they left the store since they don't arrive on the job site until around 10 a.m. They failed to call - and the two installers don't carry a cell phone - so I went home to find them waiting on me. It was so inconvenient to have them arrive so late in the morning. The worst was when I came home the first day. They had "found" one of my spare garage door openers to lock up when they went to lunch. To "find" this opener they had to go through my kitchen drawers. I felt extremely violated and as a single woman, it was horrible. The customer service was terrible - I was so angry, I waited a few days to settle up the balance - but a woman beat me to it and called only to collect. When I told her about my experience, she apologized profusely, but never a word from Bob or from anyone again. No attempts at all to reconcile.

Brown's Flooring did a fantastic job of laying wood flooring in our newly remodeled kitchen. Irene from Brown's was very easy to work with & Brown's worked well with our kitchen companies schedule in getting their parts done. George (wood flooring) & Lewis (linoleum flooring) are true craftsmen in their trade.

From the 1st visit to the store, Irene Slivka answered all of our questions a few days later she came to the house and gave us a price quote on the spot(a good price). The job was great from the start to the final clean up. Both Walter and Tom are the best!

It went very well. I would definitely use them again. Their customer service was great while we were trying to decide what we wanted. The guys who installed the bathroom floor were friendly, clean and professional. A man and woman installed the carpet, which took about a day and a half. They were super friendly and professional. They did a great job and cleaned up well afterwards.

Job 1: It was a great experience. I asked that they screw down the sub flooring, even if I had to pay extra, as my previous floor (all carpeted) had numerous squeaks. All are gone. The floor looks beautiful. We are very pleased with their work, and will be having them install a lot more hardwood flooring in the next month (hallway and large great room), as well as carpeting of 2 more bedrooms. Job 2: The workmanship was outstanding. The new floor is absolutely beautiful. It was a big job -- took 4 full days for 2 installers to complete the job. We had no major surprises. We were very pleased that they ''bought back'' 3 unopened boxes of hardwood flooring, so the final price was nearly $600 less than estimated. We used Brown's recently for a small section of hardwood flooring and new carpeting, and were pleased then. We remain highly pleased with this company, and will continue to use them as we add more hardwood flooring and carpeting over the next few years.
