He responded very quickly and was very professional. They do carpets and all kinds of work. He was excellent. We would more than likely be going with Brown's Flooring.

We went to the showroom and they helped us pick out a durable carpet that was guaranteed for 10 years on stairs. The salesman came to give us an estimate a few days later and the carpet was installed a few days after that. They were friendly, helpful, and professional and we love our new carpet!

I am satisfied with everything. The guy who came to lay the carpet did a great job. I really liked their service and I love the carpet. They did a wonderful job.

Excellent. The installer, Ken, was careful and exact in his work, moving heavy workbench and floor tools in order to fully cover the concrete floor. I had expected to need to tile around the heavy central work station, however he moved it during the installation and completel;y finished the entire area.

They were very punctual and informative, suggesting ideas for the flooring. I contacted a few companies for estimates, and will most likely go with Brown's.

After reading excellent reviews on Angie's List I visited the showroom and spoke with Irene about my project. She answered my questions, directed me to products that would meet my needs and sent me home with several samples to see in my space. Bob came (on time) a week later to measure my space and gave me a reasonable on-the-spot estimate. I told him I needed to wait 1-2 months due to finances and he said, "No problem, the estimate will still be valid." A week after my order (by phone with half the total $ down) the flooring was installed in two days. The installers did an excellent job from start to finish. They prepped my subflooring by adding screws to eliminate all squeaks prior to installation. The floor looks great, cleans easily and is wearing well (no sign of scratches although I have two dogs and two cats in the house).

They did an outstanding job. They were very conscientious and they got the job done perfectly. Their prices were extremely good. We?ll definitely use them again.

Overall, I think their price was a little high, but the service was unsurpassed. In looking for someone to do hard wood flooring I found a lot of companies wanted to sell me the flooring, but wanted to sub contract to install. I was not interested in that route. At Brown's the woman helped me select it, sold it to me, came out and measured it. She dealt with the installer and any issues I had I just had to go to her, The price as a little high, you pay for that service. I was very pleased with him.

I walked in on a Saturday morning and spoke with the salesperson Irene. I told her I needed something that would withstand two active kids but was also soft. Irene recommended a new Mohawk product that was used by a friend with kids, and thought it would meet our needs as well. It was installed about a month later. It's been a year and a half since the installation. The carpet still looks as good as the day they put it in, and we are on the carpet ALL THE TIME. Great experience--we will use Brown's again.

First of all, I made about 4 trips into the store to get at samples to bring home. The proprietors, (Bob and Janice) were always courteous and helpful. They spent a lot of time with me even though my job was not all that big. Second, their installer arrived right on time, was professional, and my floor looks beautiful. My bill matched the estimate exactly. Third, the hardwood refinisher was also professional, friendly, quick, and and reasonable. I will DEFINITELY use Brown's Flooring again.

Overall the work went very well. It was done in segments and coordinated with a high degree of professionalism. The installers took extreme pride in everything they did ... worked as it was their own home. The owner of this company is Bob Workman. I can't say enough about the way Bob handled this job. He's very straight forward, as honest and sincere as they come, fair with his estimates, is absolutely in the homeowner's corner at all times, communicates exceptionally well, very accessible, highly respected and appreciated by his installers, runs a first class ship in my book he's a model owner. They just don't come any better than Bob Workman at Brown's Flooring.

Bob Workman was a great help to get the design right. The headwood and carpet craftsmen were very professional, punctual and polite. This is the second time we have used Brown's Flooring and we have been very pleased each time with their work.

It?s a small company but big on quality - Bob Workman is the owner. They are outstanding in every area, and we would recommend them.

Brown's Flooring was a great choice to re-carpet our home. Beginning with the professionalism of Bob Workman to the installation by Keith & Tom, the entire process was completed without a hitch. Bob promptly researched & located the same carpet we had found at another retailer then gave us a quote that was much less than that of a competitor. I cannot imagine a better installation team. Their attention to detail is very impressive. It took 4 days to complete the job (a big house) and each day all old carpet & scraps were hauled away. They even vacuumed the rug as each room was completed & furniture replaced exactly where it was. Anyone looking to carpet their home should take a good look at Brown's Flooring.

They were very patient with us in the showroom. We went in thinking hardwood floor and came away with laminate. They even made picking out carpeting fun. They came out within a couple of days for measurements and scheduled the work within a week. They removed the carpeting on a Thursday and came back for installation then next day. They moved our heavy furniture for $40/room which was a deal. For both the carpet removal and the installation, they arrived when promised. The actual work took about half a day. What we really appreciated was there were no surprises throughout the process and the floors look great. For the carpet removal and the carpet installation their clean up was perfect. For the laminate, we had to sweep and clean up a little. This was a very enjoyable experience and we are glad we chose Brown's Flooring for this work. We will certainly use them again.

They were on time and extremely professional. Did all kinds of little things, let me ask all kinds of questions, and explained everything. Carried furniture into other rooms very carefully. They told me they never had anybody so interested in their work before!

They came out and said they would sand the floor and could stain it for an additional charge. They require the heavy furniture out of the room before finishing the floor. The estimate was $520.00 for the sanding and $104.00 for the staining.

I had a pipe burst downstairs and ruined my parquet flooring throughout the first floor. In trying to find replacement materials Bob was able to give me information about each type of flooring which I was thinking of using. He let me know the pluses and misses of each so that I could easily pick the materials I wanted to use as a replacement. The work performed was very good. Bob and his crew made this an easy and pleasant experience. If I had a concern, Bob was willing to give me his advise or provide the work needed that needed to be done. The floor looks SUPER!

Bob Workman was a good salesman. He came out immediately to give us an estimate. This company and 2 other companies were competing hard with each other to get our business. I picked this company because I liked the sample the best that Bob brought and I did not have time to go to the showroom to look myself. The guys who came to install the floor were nice, but the main installer (I forget his name) and Bob were both very defensive whenever my husband or I asked them any questions while it was being installed. I felt that they vied hard for our business, but then dropped the ball once they got our business. Bob never called me to let me know what time the installers were coming on the first day to start installing. When I called him about it, he did apologize. Bob, never once showed up to view the work even though I called him one time with a few concerns. The installers put on a long white quarter round piece in our living room that was totally banged up and full of dark scuff marks. (I will attach a pix here to show it.) When we confronted them about it the next day, the guy helping the main installer said "See, I told you man, that you shouldn't have put that piece on!". The installer did replace it for us, but not until after he argued with us that they expect most people to paint over it anyway. I told him I was not planning to paint it since all our floorboards are white. Also, I was frustrated because he had a huge pile of white quarter round on the floor waiting to be used that was not scuffed up at all and he chose to use the scuffed one! When I told Bob about this, he also argued with me and refused to see the pix that I told him I took. When it was all over, no one told us anything about how to take care of the floor. I had to call and ask and then they offered a free sample product which we did go to the showroom and pick up. In the end, I was very happy with the floor itself, it does look beautiful. But, I felt the customer service was quite lacking.

Janie guided me to a good and affordable carpet. She felt assured that they would beat the price and still give me the quality and comfort that we were looking for. Bob came and measured. Saw the carpet samples of the competitor and showed me their comparable carpet choice. One could see and feel the difference. The guys came on time, were focused, remeasured, and cut out new carpet for all the rooms and labeled them. I asked that I could vacuum the floor after they removed carpet so it would be thoroughly clean. They were so helpful in moving my furniture carefully, getting the carpet out and in and keeping the debris down as much as possible. Keith even fixed my vacuum cleaner because it was clogged up previously. I was surprised in the quality of cushion we got. It offers so much cushion and it avoids spills from going all the way through. I didn't know we were getting that as standard. That was a REAL pleasant surprise. We don't wear shoes in the house and it feels so nice when we walk on it now. These people are so wonderful to do business with. We will definitely go with no one else. They give you the most value for your money, steer you right, and don't stop till you are completely satisfied. To make things go faster, my husband and I moved some of the furniture ahead of time and removed drawers, cleaned garage so they had a clean floor to operate on.
