Brown's Flooring

There was some damage done while the work was being done but said they would pay for it and they did. They were professional and took care of any issues that we had. I would hire them again.

The installer was very neat. The salesman was professional and didn’t waste my time. They also allowed me to take samples with no charge. The carpet was ready to install within a week. They were very easy to work with. I would rate them high overall and would use them again in the future.

It was excellent from start to finish!! Janice in the office was so easy to work with - no pressure and very accommodating. Bob came out to measure the basement and gave me a quote in a couple days. I compared Browns with other companies. I liked this company from the start - they were nice - and the price was right. After I signed on the dotted line, the installers were here in 2 weeks! It took 2 days to install, 30 cartons of tile, and 160 feet of cove base. They moved the heavy furniture, and I moved the little stuff; however, they would have moved it all. In our basement there are heavy items - like pool table, juke box, pin-ball machine, shelving, and on and on. The 2 installers were friendly - worked constantly - knew what they were doing! The overall appearance of the tiles, cove base, and the Chinese Checkers carpet tiles in the middle of the room turned out great - it looks fun having the checker board among the other regular carpet tiles. I would hire this company again in a minute, and I recommend them to you.

I was pleased with all aspects of this purchase/installation. Ken did a wonderful job installing the floor. He was professional, on time, courteous, and particular. Everything went very well.

The installer (and his trainee assistant) arrived right on time. They moved the furniture quickly and carefully. Next they unfastened quite a bit of the carpeting and re-installed it to remove large wrinkes that had developed even though the carpet was not even two-years old. This included cutting and removing all the excess - I was really surprised at how much there was. Then the installer and his helper replaced all the furniture and asked for my vacuum cleaner so they could make everything look like new again. I don't know how they could have done any better. Very fair price for the work done and clean-up.

Their work is excellent. I will be using them in again shortly. The owner of the company came to my house to give the estimate I liked that. Their responsiveness was excellent. He got here on time. I liked everything about them. I will be using them in the future.

They were perfect. They took out the old and installed the new carpet. We are very happy with the results.

Bob was very easy to work with on the measurement and estimate and Ken did an excellent job on the installation. Very pleased with the finished product so far.

They responded quickly with an estimate and were able to install the flooring about 2 weeks later.

All work was completed on time as promised; all workers were professional, very friendly, and on time. I really felt like they took alot of pirde in thier workmanship.The owner was great to work with. Would definitely use them again and refer them to anyone looking to have any flooring installed. Our home looks Great!

We have used Brown's often and they always do an excellent job as they did this time.

Bob Workman was very patient as I spent months picking up samples before I chose my perfect vinyl. He came out to measure and gave me a quote. (I also had him measure for carpeting which I will do next year). Ken Wortendyke (installer) was absolutely wonderful. Very pleasant and professional. He cleaned up as he went. The installation was perfection. He was slower then some others....but well worth it. He layed underpayment and vinyl in the entryway, two bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room. Both bathrooms had been carpeted, so this was wonderful to have vinyl. The entryway went from a small footprint to a 5' x 13' entry way. Wow! What a difference. I would definitely use them again. Looking forward to new carpet next year.

It turned out very well. They have helpful people in their showrooms that show you the various colors and patterns. The installer was very experienced, knowledgeable and hard working. We could tell he has done this kind of work for many years; there was no hesitation on how to do things. It was just one worker who installed the floors and I was impressed at his strength and abilities.

I wanted to draw special attention to the great 'above and beyond' service I received from Brown's Flooring. I was faced with unexpected company arriving in 4 days and a guestroom with really worn carpeting. Within 24 hours of calling and explaining my dilemma to Brown's Flooring, the owner was at my home taking measurements. Within 24 hours of that visit, I had brand new very high quality carpet installed in my guestroom. He was able to locate a high quality remnant that worked perfectly in my room, and saved me money as well. I really appreciate the customer service this company provides.

Everything went great. There was an issue with the carpet when they rolled it out and when they found it they completely re-installed the carpet without any more charge.

I was impressed with them since they answered my e-mail. The price was $1.50 per linear foot. I didn?t use their services since I found a place closer. Their price was better than the company that I used to get the work done. It?s just that I couldn?t go that far to get the work done. If need be, then I would use their services in the future too.

I went to visit Brown's for some ideas and worked with Janice Workman. She took a lot of time explaining what would work and what to avoid on my floors -i.e. I am on concrete base so solid hardwoods should not be used. Janice recommended engineered hardwoods. I was given samples to take home to view in the area, brought them back and we set up a time the next day for measurements to be taken. An hour later I had an estimate faxed to me. The estimate included everything, carpet removal, moving of furniture, installation, trim installation. I placed the order that day and had my floors installed two weeks later. They are beautiful and every part of the purchase and installation went very smoothly. These people have been doing this for awhile :-)

It was much appreciated that they helped educate me through the process of selecting the best choice of flooring. I got several other bids and they were the lowest. Their service and price were excellent. The sales staff were extremely nice; always returning my calls. Overall, everything was just excellent.

Very good experience. Bob came to house to see what was needed and provided a lot of good info about the flooring and installation. The actual work took two days and was done a couple of weeks later as scheduled. Ken, the installer, was very knowledgeable and figured out the best way to install the vinyl around the built-ins. He did a great job. Seams are basically invisible. The stain on the molding matches the existing woodwork perfectly. He kept a clean work place and cleaned up everything afterword.

This is our second time using Brown's & we will use them again in the future. They don't have the lowest prices in town, but their prices are reasonable & working with them is very pleasant/easy. They communicate well, accommodate one's schedule needs & their installation crews really aim to please. Brown's is family owned business & the owners work directly with the customer during the sales & consultation process.

An excellent experience through the entire process!! We talked to 3 companies and chose them because of the price and the initial interaction with Bob. When we first started looking at flooring, he gave us a lot of guidance on the best laminate flooring for our situation. There was no pressure to buy. When we initially talked, we were going to have laminate in the family room, dining room, and kitchen. After looking at the laminate samples again, I changed my mind and wanted vinyl in the kitchen. I took a cupboard drawer with me to Brown's, and Janice helped me pick out vinyl based on the color of the cabinets. Bob had to come out again and give a new estimate. He apologized that it was slightly higher than the first, but it wasn't a surprise because we had added vinyl for the entryway. Ken installed the flooring. He did a great job, gave my husband some advice on some problem areas. He went above and beyond- fixing a step, cutting some extra baseboard and fixed a door sill, so it fit properly. They will defiinitely get our business in the future!!

Work is absolutely wonderful; our house looks brand new! Brown's was great to work with. Last of the installation was completed today (carpet). All work was completed on time as promised; all workers were professional, very friendly, on time and never had a problem answering silly questions we might have had! Owner was great when we he came to measure our home, also with all the trips to the store to decide on choosing the right colors to match our rooms. Would definitely use them again and refer them to anyone looking to have any flooring installed.

When I contacted Brown's I spoke to Bob Workman - he was very polite and able to make an appointment to come out and look at our project just within a few days. We need hardwood floors extended into the rest of our first floor living space where our current carpet is. He came at the time he said he would, took measurements and was able to provide us with a quote on the spot. Unfortunately it is much higher than the other flooring company I contacted, and I only contacted 2 total so I will be going with the other company as the product is the same. With that said, I thought Bob was friendly and professional and would still recommend Brown's Flooring.

Everything went very well. It is our second experience with Brown's and their carpet installers. We were very pleased with their neatness, professionalism, and experience. The carpet looks great and we will do repeat business with Brown's.
