Brown's was courteous and professional and helped me pick out a carpeting that I love and is easy to care for. They also got the flooring that I wanted and it looks really good. The workers were courteous and helpful and professional.

They were phenomenal! We were referred to them by a family member that used them previously. Bob came out and provided a great quote so we scheduled the work. The crew that came out to do the job were punctual and professional. We did run into an issue due to no fault of their own - the carpet we picked would not allow the door to the outside to come open, but they were very quick about finding a solution would work. We were so impressed with them that we are considering them for more work in our kitchen as well.

I have had carpet put down before and it was wrinkled and terrible. They could tell that my carpet had just been put down and they commented on the quality of the job. The people who laid the carpet before didn't stretch it properly and it was bunching up under the furntiure legs. I had Brown's re-lay all of my carpet and they did an exceptional job.

The owner came out and gave us a free estimate, and threw in an extra piece of carpet (9' x 10') for the family room (which was vinyl flooring). Price was good and they said they could get the carpet in from Georgia in two days, which they did. This was remarkable and we are very appreciative of this due to our tight time frame. Charles + his son came out to install the carpet. They did an excellent job every step of the way. In removing existing carpet he found a damp area with some mold underneath, which caused a halt in the installation process until we had it fixed. He then came back several days later and finished up the job. He was very courteous and helpful and understanding. I have read some not so kind reviews about carpet installers, and I can honestly say Charles was great. I would highly recommend Brown flooring for their excellent service, attention to detail, caring about their customers, and outstanding installation crew. Thanks guys!

Bob Workman was in Brown's store when we visited it. He was very helpful in explaining what was available consistent with our desires. He provided answers to questions on the installation force. Charles and JR were the installers and they were great! We had recently had painting done and the shoe molding was caulked into the wall molding. They took up the shoe molding to remove the old carpet and had to re-apply the shoe molding and re-caulk it and paint if with paint I had from the recent paint job. They moved existing furniture, removed the old carpet and installed the new, and finally re-installed the new carpet. The carpet was cut to measure in our garage and carried into the house to the room where it was needed. They did not abrade any walls in carrying the carpet.

We had used this company before to install kitchen floor covering and they did a great job. WHen we needed new carpet we went to their showroom. The help there was wonderful. They talked us out of a choice of mine which we would have regrettd and advised us on what would work best. Mr. Workman came to our home and measured the area and gave us a reasonable quote. His workers were very professional, did a marvelous job, The entire experience was a pleasure.

It was a pretty simple job, done well. The woman at the store was very helpful when I was selecting the type of carpet and was very knowledgeable about the features of the various types. The installers were quick, efficient, and did not leave any mess. It has been several months and I am still extremely satisfied with the results.

Bob is wonderful. He came out to our house a couple of weeks ahead of time to measure and give us a quote. This is the second time we have used Brown's flooring for carpeting our home. We had some work done on our home while we were out of state for a surgery I had to have done. Brown's flooring came in and laid the carpet while we were gone so that everything would be ready for me when I came home to recover from surgery. Unfortunately, there was a manufacturer defect in the carpet, but Bob had them go ahead and lay it so that I would at least have carpet in the bedroom when I came back from my surgery. I'm grateful he did that as it wasn't until several weeks later that I felt like having them back in my house to have the room re-carpeted. He reported the problem to the manufacturer right away so that they would receive the replacement for me to have redone when I felt better. I didn't even know all of this until we got home from out of state from my surgery. I'm glad he took care of everything for us! This is a wonderful, small business that treats customers very well.

Bob Brown came out and was so nice and professional. He responded quickly with a quote, and when the flooring associates came out to install, they too were professional and did a beautiful job. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and when I am ready to replace my kitchen and bedroom flooring, I will definitely contact them.

Everything went great. Ken the installer was very personable and detail oriented. He explained everything he was doing and also did the install in stages so our lives would be interrupted as little as possible. He worked hard at all times are rarely even took a break. He even came back over the weekend twice to make sure all the final touches were done correctly.

Bob Workman came out and gave me a written estimate and thoroughly answered my questions. His price was very competitive so we decided to go with him in view of his great reviews on Angie's List. We gave him about 50% down, and in a few days the product was in, and his installer, Ken, with 27 years experience laid the floor, perfectly, flawlessly and with good counsel to answer my questions.

We went to Brown's because of the positive reviews on Angie's List and because it was reasonably close to home (and I knew where it was). The gentleman who helped us was professional and explained all about the different types of carpet. He encouraged us to take home all the samples we wanted to make sure we got the one we liked the best. It was obvious he had been in the business for quite some time- he knew his stuff. We explained when we needed the carpeting within about 10 days so he quickly put us on the installation schedule within that timeframe in case we decided to go with one of their choices. While we were at the shop, we discussed the padding they used. (The price included carpet, pad, and installation.) We asked if they had an upgraded padding available. He said they just always quoted things with this one particular padding because it worked out well. My husband asked again if he didn't have something a little thicker, but no, the gentleman thought we'd be very happy with this. So we went with it. They were nice enough to try to work us in earlier than originally planned, which we appreciated. The installers were several hours later than expected, so I finally called Brown's to see where they were. They showed up shortly afterwards (apparently the first job took alot longer than planned-lady decided she DID want to move her furniture after scheduling it without that option) and were surprised that no one had called- I think it must have been an oversight. Installers were very nice guys, one of which said he'd worked for Browns for something like 16 years. They did a very nice job of installing the carpet in our family room. We loved the new carpet, but guess what? The padding wasn't nearly as good as our old padding. :-( I didn't think it was worth bringing up once the job was all done, so shame on us for not further pursuing a highly quality padding in the first place or just checking out somewhere else before agreeing to something that wasn't that great. If they'd called and asked about our satisfaction, I would have told them about the padding, but they didn't, and I couldn't see them willingly tearing out the new carpet to replace the padding with something better, so I didn't pursue it. We were very satisfied with the quality of the carpet, the speed of installation and the quality of installation. As I said the gentleman who sold it to us really knew his stuff, and that mattered alot to us. I can't fault them for something I didn't tell them about.

Informed me of what he was to do and how to care for it. He was constantly working and when he left everything was clean.

Bob was our salesman at the store and guided us to the type of carpet that would suit our needs the best. He came over to measure the room exactly and set up the order. We paid half up front and the remainder after installation. Installers were highly professional and did a fine job. When we weren't sure if the color was what we ordered he went back to the showroom to bring the sample in and it was the same just looked different in the lighting of the room against the padding color. They willing did this to make sure it was what we wanted. After installation, it looked great when the whole room was finished and you could no longer see the padding which had a tendency to make the color look different. They replaced all of the furniture with the utmost care and did a thorough cleanup. We were very pleased with the result and would definitely deal with them again.

I went to the showroom and discussed carpet options with the saleswoman. The owner came out and measured for the carpet and then provided a bid. He was happy to discuss the details and answer all my questions. I called to schedule the installation, and he was willing to accommodate my schedule. The workers arrived and were courteous and professional. They cleaned up as they went. They found two problems -- floor dry rot and toilet installed correctly -- and brought to my attention. The fixed the flooring problem (which was a godsend for me) and they worked with the plumber to get the toilet installed correctly so the carpet could go in around it. They did the work in the timeline they said. I would definitely use this company again.

We have been there twice and would go back again.

We had a very positive experience with Brown's from beginning to end, including dealing with all the personnel -- the office staff, the owner/manager, and the installers. It is a pleasant, responsive, and well-run business, and the quality of the installation was fabulous. We highly recommend Brown's and will use them for all our future flooring needs. In fact, we already have a new job lined up for them.

We contacted Brown's Flooring to get an estimate on recarpeting the staircase and most of the rooms upstairs in our home. We were putting the house up for sale and wanted to purchase reasonably priced carpet but not cheap carpet. We also wanted to choose carpet that would appeal to a wide range of possible buyers. The estimator who visited our home was friendly, knowledgeable and listened to our concerns. He did not try to sell us carpet we didn't want or need. He seemed to understand our goals and address them in his suggestions. We liked that the price included the cost of moving large pieces of furniture. The day the installers came everything went as planned except one thing: when they removed the old carpet from the stairs, they noticed that the new carpet was not as tall as the old carpet, Therefore, paint lines would show after the new carpet was laid -- in other words, you could see where the new green paint stopped and the old eggshell paint began. If the installers went ahead with the installation, we'd have to then touch up the green walls with the new ivory carpet in place. The lead installer pointed out the problem and offered to come back (at no extra charge) in 3-4 days to lay the staircase carpet. This would give us time to extend the green paint down the wall while the steps were bare. We agreed this was a good solution and scheduled a day and time for the lead installer to return. To expedite the process he went ahead and prepared the tack strips on each step and took care to tape back the carpet on the top landing so it would not be damaged or soiled while waiting for the steps to be completed. The installer returned as we planned and completed the job. We really appreciated his attention to detail, willingness to return to our home to complete the job and his helping us solve (or prevent) a problem. The installers were sub-contractors for Brown's Flooring, but clearly Brown's Flooring hires good, thoughtful sub-contractors.

Janis was phenomenal in presenting all of the options and being a good listener for a novice buyer. In addition, the owner came out and did all the measurements and talked to us. The two installers had many years experience and were very friendly and professional and went above and beyond. I would recommend them for anyone seeking a great experience with all of the options out there. We got our money's worth!

We are very pleased with all aspects of our dealings with Brown's Flooring. They delivered what we wanted with no surprises, which we certainly do appreciate. We will contact Brown's Flooring for our future flooring needs. They are pros!!!!

The results look great and the job was completed on time. The installers were prompt and professional. I had one minor concern about the wood flooring initially, which was resolved to my complete satisfaction and earning an A here. The showroom isn't as fancy as some others out there but the Brown's team worked hard to help us select the right products for our needs. They were reasonable in price compared to another quote we received. I'll happily trade a fancy showroom for a better price on quality products. The team of installers were very respectful and did a good job cleaning up the inevitable mess that flooring installation creates, and they were careful when moving our furniture. It was a great experience and I recommend them.
