Installation went smoothly although it took a little longer than we thought it should. The installer never worked a full day. He always stopped working between 2 and 3 in the afternoon. The installer did a quality job though. Installation occurred very quickly after we made the decision to use this company

We were extremely pleased with the job they did. Brothers did sub out our job but there service was excellent! They put sample shades of different stain choices down so we could see what it would look like. They ended up mixing 2 stains to get what we liked and did a "water" treatment so the stain would take slightly different. They also finished in 2 days instead of 3 by coming back late on day 2 to add the second coat of polly.

We had solid hardwood and engineered hardwood explained to us at Brothers when we first visited the showroom. At measurement , we wanted something to separate the dining room from the rest of the house. They suggested laying the hardwood diagonally. They also recommended floor vents stained to match the hardwood. We loved both ideas, and get many compliments on our floor. We only priced one other well known flooring company and Brothers beat their price. Definitely recommend.

Excellent. No problems at all with tear out or install. We love the new floors, everything looks beautiful! Andrew was very friendly, professional and responsive to any questions or needs. The installers were also a great, hard working group of guys who were happy to help with all aspects of the install. Nothing negative to say. We will use Brothers again.

The quality of the work they did was good. I had to have them come back out twice. One time they ran out of flooring and then the second time there were places that they just did not do, like behind the refrigerator and in different corners. I had to get them to come back out to handle some things and to finish up some things. So when I got them to do the work they did a good job, but it just felt like I was constantly having to get after them to do it and finish it.

Went very well. Best price by far and the work was excellent!

The sales and scheduling process were fine. The rest not great. Installers late both days. Tarps not laid and clean up at end of work day and end of job average. I spent lots of time sweeping and picking up tear out debris both inside my house and outside. Globs of glue left and sloppy stain blotches left on the quarter round trim (these were fixed). Paid a premium to Brothers to have pool table moved but no care taken with moving--just slid across the floor (fortunately when we had it re-leveled no damage was done). The real issue is the squishy floor we now have after the install. The concrete floor was not level in a number of places (not noticed with the carpet but not surprising either in a basement) and needed self leveler but the installers began tear out AND started laying the new floor as soon as there was some square footage clear. Trash being carried up and new floor being carried down and laid at same time. I noticed the floor movement and "squishy" spots as soon as I got downstairs. The installer insisted it was the manufacturer recommended plastic moisture barrier and it would "settle". Bottom line is that the basement floor needed leveling compound and the installers were clearly in a hurry to finish and did not properly check the floor. They did the estimated 3 day job in less than a day and a half. They had no 8-10 foot level or stick to check the radius for floor dips. I did contact Greg and he came out and agreed about some spots and disagreed about others as he felt they were within the 3/8 inch specs. He also had no level or yardstick to check the flatness of floor and also blamed it on the moisture barrier that the manufacturer recommends. I can bounce a yardstick on several large spots on the floor . I do understand a floating floor but I also understand that there are still areas that may need to be level for the floor to float properly and not move when walked on even with a premium product like Coretec. Greg did send a crew back out who reluctantly tore out parts of the floor. It was the same crew that did the install. They fixed one area and told me they couldn't do the other areas without an entire tear out and leveling. They were clearly upset/frustrated with returning and and I decided it was a basement and let it go. So we live with a few squishy areas (that even the kids notice) and the realization that this was at best a B job that was done to hastily and without proper attention to detail.

Date was set about six weeks ahead. When the day came, no show. i called and salesman said it had gotten on his schedule but not on installers. We had moved all furniture in preparation and were inconvenienced for using bath and bedrooms. He hesitated in saying they might be able to do one room late that day. We decided against this and agreed that they do one room first thing in the morning which was their preference to deal with this error. We were being rescheduled for the following week. That plan was carried out and we were satisfied with the work. For our inconvenience I asked for a price break. We did not get that but I was satisfied in that they agreed to bind a 6x8 foot remnant scrap I had collected even giving it a custom shape at one one.

It went extremely well. The new flooring really classes up our home. We are also very pleased with the installation. The flooring professionals that were in our home were obviously extremely knowledgeable and competent. They were courteous and professional at all time. We'll be replacing the flooring in some other rooms soon and we look forward working with them again. We are very pleased.

Subcontrators were used and we were not told this would occur. They were late or didn't show up several times.

Our home was originally built in the early 1980s. We've been the owners since the late 90s, and the carpet in the living room was in desperate need of an upgrade. I use part of my living room as a yoga practice space, so one of my primary considerations in choosing flooring for the living room was that it needed to be durable and offer solid support and stability for my practice. After the floor was installed, we spend more time in the living room--and I love my new practice space. My husband had installed a laminate flooring in the kitchen soon after we bought the home, and after seeing the new CoreTec floor in the living room, he wanted the same flooring for the kitchen as well. The kitchen floor is beautiful as well, and adds continuity to our home decor. These floors are easy to clean, and they are durable, and they look amazing. The people at Brothers Floor Covering are friendly and helpful. Their contractors are professional and pay close attention to details during the installation and clean-up afterwards. I highly recommend this company.

PHENOMENAL! Brothers had to work around our plumber and everything went seamlessly. We had a deadline and they were finished way before! We were very pleased!

Everything went very smoothly. from the measuring to the installation. Terrific experience.

They were very high quality. The installation was exceptional, they stain matched the existing wood, and the floors look amazing. They were also very neat, the sawdust was cleaned up as they were working on sanding.

We contracted with Brothers a few weeks ago to redo the floor in our kitchen, half bath and laundry area. Greg Hill (the owner) forgot to order the tiles so the job had to be postponed for a week after we'd prepared everything for the installation to start as scheduled. The tile was installed over the existing linoleum without regard for the damaged areas so that shortly afterwards the tile in that area disintegrated. And, the job remains unfinished because the installer refused to caulk around the commode in the half bath.

Very helpful in picking out carpet within insurance budget

Carpet looks fantastic. Installation crew were professional and efficient. Also, helped out with a couple of last minute requests. Sales and scheduling process was very easy. Brothers followed up to check on the work and our satisfaction. A very good company to work with. Outstanding!

In the process of our removal of an old shower door frame, several rows of tile came with it. Brothers had been out the previous week to install a new floor in the same bathroom and did such a professional job, we decided to contact them to see what our options would be to repair or replace the wall. Within 2 days we had their very reasonable estimate, and 2 days later they came out, re-cemented and grouted the tile, matching the 30-year-old grout color. We had contacted another tile company for an estimate for the same job, and it took a week to get the estimate which was considerably more than that from Brothers for the same work. We are very pleased with the result and with the speed with which they responded.

A long overdue review for a fantastic provider. I first worked with Greg and Chuck on a flooring quote in 2011. While we were pleased with that experience, we ultimately decided to move forward with a different project and push the flooring back to another time. Fast-forward some years later and we decided to move out-of-state and sell our house quite suddenly. Needing to make decisions and move quickly, my first thought was to visit a large home improvement store nearby. I'll never get those 30 minutes of my life back. Why I didn't immediately think of Brothers is beyond me, but I'm glad it didn't take me very long to remember the great experience I had with them several years earlier. Greg listened to what was a similar project as before, but had some different goals in order to sell quickly. He has a straightforward style and way of doing business. While this might not work as well for those needing a softer approach, I appreciated his honesty and decisiveness. He was instrumental in determining what would be appropriate quality levels of materials (I didn't want cheap as it needed to be up to my standards, but also didn't want to spend a bunch of extra money I wouldn't see back in the sale). He was also quite helpful in selecting colors/patterns that would appeal to a broad audience, but would also fit with the rest of the home and not be boring. Greg even suggested some wood he was running special pricing on because he didn't have enough for a larger project, but enough for what we needed for my space! Quote came quickly as well as subsequent follow-ups and adjustments to statement of work. I appreciated their ability to work with me on scheduling, knowing I wanted to get it on the market ASAP. Hardwood installation was the only area where my experience wasn't A+. The installers were friendly and worked quickly and efficiently, but there were several instances of walls getting dinged and scuffed as they nailed pieces in place. This wasn't a huge issue and I don't believe I even notified Brothers of it. Hardwood took two days to complete and carpet went in on the third day. Everything looked amazing and potential buyers were very impressed. All commented on how well the materials fit with the house and the quality of the work. Full disclosure: the sample size was fairly small as the house sold in only two days after numerous showings. My agent said much of that had to do with the work Brothers had done and was very complimentary on the value we received I appreciate their work, from beginning to end, have had no hesitation recommending them to friends, and would absolutely use them again if I lived in the area!
