They returned my call for service promptly. I was scheduled for an appointment quickly. The serviceman came out on time. He was courteous and considerate of my time and property. Wore shoe covers each time he entered the house. He took the time to take measurements for water pressure and discovered that I needed an expansion tank. When we called the utility company to find out if this was really necessary, the utility manager said, "Absolutely. In my 17 years with this company, I've never heard of anyone installing a hot water heater on our system without an expansion tank." (Our original hot water heater, which came with the house, didn't have one.) I was very happy with the service received.

I spent $560 on that work. They were responsive and told me what was going on. They are very clear on the charges going to be incurred. They are good and I will call them again.

They did an excellent job. We had to replace our old furnace and at the same time we also redid a lot of duct work that was in the house. We probably spent about $7500. The gentleman who showed up was very knowledgeable. This occurred right after the ice storm. We came back from being out of town. We had this furnace that finally died. We made a call on Saturday. They came within an hour to look at it. The guy who works for the company as a consultant lives in my neighborhood. He got the call on the way home and he said he will just stop by. When he came I explained my concerns to him. He didn't take any time at all to formulate a plan and that included re-rounding all the duct work that had been an issue for years. They said they would be here on Monday morning at 8 and 8:30 and they were here at 8:15 in the morning. They did everything on time. I was really impressed to see what was going on. I am going to use them for another job in the house in the spring. The service gentlemen who came were three of them. They all worked for Broad Ripple Heating for a number of years. They all spoke very highly about the company.

We spent just over $4000 on that service. They were very, very polite. They were very helpful and also repaired our old unit because they couldn?t get back until it was Thursday. They made it work, until they could get back on Saturday with the new equipment. They did not charge for the repair of the old unit and took the cost of the new unit. We would recommend everything about them; they were really very efficient and very professional. We had called them for the repair because it was pretty bad and they had the man come within an hour and give us the whole deal. He did not pressure us and this was the third down from the top of the line. They were very good people and they unit is working just excellent. This unit has a continuous air flow and we have saved $30 a month on the gas and the electricity and it should save us that much I believe when the air-conditioning comes in. It was really cold and they did that temporary fix for us.

They were nice, but their pricing was ridiculous! I would never recommend them.

We have been really pleased. They are prompt, courteous and clean. The prices are good.

The prices were not competitive for the recent work, but I have used them in the past and been pleased with their work.

Quick service, especially on a Sunday. They charged additional for labor given that it was the weekend, but the furnace was fixed quickly. I placed the call at 8:30AM to have someone come by to look at the furnace and at 10:20AM the serviceman was walking out of the house and our furnace was back to pumping out nice hot air.

I have a contract with them so they come twice a year to get my system in shape for the season. I?ve been using them for years and they deserve an A across the board.

They did a good job. They were very meticulous about keeping things contained and clean.

I was happy with the work they did and happy with the plumber who did the work. I panicked a few days later when the delivery people for the large local company that sells appliances arrived and said they could not connect plastic tubing to the refrigerator, as it had to be copper. I called Village Plumbing and the manager offered to have someone come out and install copper at no additional cost. When the plumber returned, he was ready to install copper, but told me that plastic was the better choice as it was less likely to develop permanent kinks and pinholes. I felt comfortable with this explanation and allowed him to check the connections we'd made ourselves. He said it was his understanding that the manager of Village Plumbing would be calling the company that installed the refrigerator to find out what the reason was for their policy.

They came out immediately. We told them that we had a problem during Christmas and my son had worked on the furnace. He got it working again. We thought that it was fine, but all of a sudden in the last week it was dropping during the day and it was about 63. So we knew that we had a problem and we needed to get somebody out. They had somebody out within about three hours. We are fine now. I was very happy with everything they did like their punctuality, the work they did, their honesty and reliability. They were very good. I felt that their price was fair. They had a $50 coupon that they had given us when we had used their services before and so we were able to use that this time. It has been working so far.

Broad Ripple Heating Service Experts did a good job. They replaced the wiring in the attic. They came out to work whenever I called them in the past.

We called them because they had put in our furnace earlier. They came out on an emergent basis and did a great job. They were professional. The person came out in a timely fashion, had the parts and replaced it. We had heat that night - we were very happy. We would use them again in the future if necessary.

We have an older home with some of the original plumbing. The hot water running to the shower/tub in the master bath had slowed to a trickle. At the same time, the sink in the bathroom had problems with the piping and trap. VP sent along a plumber, but he soon realized it was a two-person job, so he arranged to come back the next day with a colleague. They worked quickly and proficiently and bathroom sink and shower are now fine. we've used VP before, but this was the first time we experienced their "call center", which means when you call you don't really get VP in Broadripple but a call center. The information i provided by phone didn't get through to the actual plumbers in broadripple, which could have helped them realize they needed two people right off the bat.

I called Village Plumbing and ask if they could give me a non binding estimate for a job to run and hook up a gas line for a new kitchen cooktop that was replacing an electrical cooktop. I explained in detail the layout and situation they would find. Andy was kind enough to give me a quote based on my description. I made an appointment for VP to come out. When the technician showed up and inspected what I needed done he quoted a price consistant with our phone estimate. He proceeded to do the job as required and then tested the work for any leaks and clean up the site. I was very pleased with there professionalism.

Broad Ripple Heating coordinated a complicated installation in our 1950's Meridian Hills brick home, complete with digging a six-foot deep trench in our backyard to hold approximately 600 feet of buried tubing for the heat exchanger loop. All employees were punctual, responsible and courteous. Our home's old HVAC systems were removed cleanly. We used most of the existing ductwork with some rework/replacement. The new five-ton WaterFurnace unit was installed and connected to the ground loop. Three automatic dampers in the duct system (three zones) and three Honeywell Pro Vision thermostats were installed with a Honeywell control unit. An automatic power humidifier was installed. Because the WaterFurnace also provides hot water, we had a 50 gallon hot water holding tank installed between the WaterFurnace and our existing gas hot water heater - so incoming water is now pre-heated to 100-120 degrees using ground heat and we use much less gas to heat water. We use no gas to heat the house. Electrical circuit breaker box (electrical panel) was tested to ensure sufficient capacity. Heavy duty 220 volt wiring was run from breaker box to the new unit. Electric resistance heating coils were installed as an emergency backup system. An IPL representative then inspected the installation, qualified our "heating" system as all-electric and lowered our rate. We also received a 30% Federal tax credit (the Indiana tax credit fund had run out). Our system was tested several times by Broad Ripple Heating and has been working flawlessly through a very cold winter. Our house seems more comfortable, too, with temperature and humidity more evenly regulated. We are very happy with our new heat pump (manufactured in Indiana) and with the professionals from Broad Ripple Heating.

It's working fine. We had a seriously rocky start that was very problematic at the time, but they stayed with us and were persistent in getting it fixed and finally got it fixed. It has worked fine ever since. I thought the price was okay for what they did. Heat pumps are expensive and if you want to get a decent heat pump you have to pay the price. Their salesman was very good.

The work was good but he had to go out and buy a part that I thought should have been on the truck. This caused the B rating in punctuality above. So this job took longer than it should have. Otherwise he did the procedure as required and I am satisfied with the work.

Repair person was there when he said he would be. Good advice on state of my furnace. Definitely will use again. Just hope it doesn't have to be an emergency repair on a Sunday!

A usual Village Plumbing was prompt, professional, and completed the work in an excellent manner. This was the second time we had Terry and he was professional, discussed the options for repair, and completed the work quickly and in a quality manner.

Woke up on a winter Friday morning and the house was 60 degrees. The thermostat seemed fine, but the blower wouldn't come on. Called for service at about 8:00am. At first we were scheduled for late afternoon, but they called to say there had been a cancellation and they came out mid-morning, got the blower started, and ordered a new board to permanently fix the problem. They came out to install the board on Monday, realized it was really the thermostat (less expensive to replace) and not the board, and replaced the thermostat. The first service call was $230, and the second with the thermostat about $340.

Plumber came out same day! He provided estimate and did the work, then tested the sink to be sure everything is fine.

Very well. Was able to schedule a return service call the next day to install the condensate pump. Tech ws knowledgable, courteous and efficient.
