They are dependable and responsive. They did a good job. We had a leak after the install and they came right back out to fix it.

We like that they make things work when they are not working. The people that come out and do the work are very friendly and very efficient. They seem to be very good when it comes to making appointments.

I felt the charge was excessive. I did have an Aangie's list coupon for approx.(can't remember for sure) $25.00, which helped, but felt the charge was still high.

Scheduling the appointment was professional and the plumber was able to come to the house the next day. I received a phone call to inform me that the plumber was on his way and he arrived a short time later. The plumber spent approximately 30 minutes accessing the piping infrastructure of our house and was able to answer all of my questions. He provided an estimate that was detailed.

Our house is old and the basement, which is finished, was arctic the first year we owned the house. I realized there was no ductwork to the basement so we wanted some put in. Based on their good reviews on Angie's List, we called Broad Ripple Heating and Cooling. I mentioned that I was more concerned with the right solution than the cost and that I wanted our house to be comfortable in the winter. The salesperson advised us that our furnace wasn't sized appropriately for our home and also suggested a heat pump to help reduce heating costs. He said our electric bills would be HALVED in the winter with these changes. Even though our furnace and air conditioner were only a few years old, we elected to replace them. The salesperson said that the work would be done within 3-4 days. The work took almost 3 times as long as we were promised. They started late in the week and late the next week my husband had to call the company and demand that we be given more technicians. One of the employees remarked to my husband that this particular salesperson frequently underestimated how long the job would take. After the job was finished, we were so excited to use our finished basement "media room" - except that when it got cold during the winter - it was still cold down there! In addition, our heating bills were exactly the same as they were the year before. We called Broad Ripple Heating and Cooling back and they sent a "master technician" who said that it's difficult to heat/cool a house like ours without multiple units. Come to find out, most houses on our block have a separate system for the top floor versus the basement/first floor. Why this was never suggested as an option is baffling. Basically, the technician told us there was nothing to be done unless we wanted to put in another unit. Our cooling bills in the summer do seem to be less, but we are not very satisfied. We still pay an exorbitant amount for heating in the winter with uneven heat in the house.

We have a contract with them. They make two visits a year. They are prompt and thorough. They respond pretty quickly. Their price is moderate and they don't over charge.

Had several appointments to discuss our needs; and what we wanted. Worked with us to make their price competitive with other companies from which we had estimates. Scheduled us promptly to get the work done, did quality work and cleaned up.

The furnace installation went without a hitch and worked from day one, but Broad Ripple had difficulty installing the Heat Pump. It took three different service technicians on three different trips to finally get the heat pump to work with the furnace/thermostat. I selected Broad Ripple because of their reputation and warrentee but I did not want a Lenox system. The sales associate indicated to me that they do install Bryant systems which was one of the systems I was interested in. I was left with the impression that they had experience with Bryant so I ordered it from them because of their reputation even though I had a lower quote from another contractor. To my surprise, I later learned from the technicians that they rarely install Bryant and one of the three said he had not seen one installed by their company in several years. Good news is that they stood by the sale and fixed the problem and my heat pump works, but I did feel a little misled during the sales process which is why I gave an overall ?C? rating. I would recommend them, but only if you want a Lenox system.

The service was great and the worked was completed on time. I was very satisfied. I would reconmend BR to any one.

First time they put in a tankless water heater. The second time they put in the furnace and the air conditioner. They were very prompt. They were business like and professional. They didn't waste time. They put in the entire work fine. They were also punctual and did a good job.

The estimate was accurate, the work was done perfectly and everything was cleaned up beautifully.

Very pleased with the work. Initially, I received an estimate on the work when Steve came out to unplug a washer drain, and he seemed very knowledgeable and honest, and took the time to listen and answer my questions. When I scheduled the work I wasn't planning to have that all done on one day, but after I decided to go ahead, they were willing to call additional people in to help finish all the work. I did get a different opinion on the backflow preventer and water heater work from a different plumber at the company, but I felt both of them were trying to give me their honest opinion about the best way to accomplish what I wanted. Price is little high, but quality of work is excellent. I had a concern about some water in the backflow preventer when we had a lot of rain this spring and then came out to check it and answered my questions at no additional cost. I highly recommend them.

They took off the old AC and replaced it with a new one. We have used them for years, and they have always done a good job for us. They are reliable and prompt, and I think they are fairly priced. Our old AC was not connected properly and the coil kept freezing and we could not use out furnace either. So we decided to get a new AC.

Everything went fine - the tech was professional, explained the problem, offered solutions, fixed the furnace and left. He was neat and efficient.

They gave a 2 hour range and he came during that time. They always put on bootees to protect the carpet. They are always polite and cordial.

MY SEWER SYSTEM BACKED UP INTO MY BASEMENT ON A FRIDAY AT @7:00 PM. I CALLED BEN FRANKLIN FIRST, AND THEY TOOK FOREVER TO RESPOND. WITHIN AN HOUR OR SO OFG THE CALL, THE VILLAGE PLUMBING PLUMBER SHOWED UP. THEY TOOK CARE OF THE EMERGENCY, AND SCHEDULED US FOR AN INSPECTION THE FOLLOWING MONDAY. THEY ALSO PROVIDED A REFERRAL TO AMERESTORE, WHO CAME IN AND CLEANED UP THE MESS - AND WHAT A MESS IT WAS. EVENTUALLY, VILLAGE WOUND UP PLACING A SEWER BACKFLOW DEVICE IN MY BASEMENT, AND CORRECTLY CONNECTED OUR SUMP PUMP LINE TO THE STORM SEWER. THEY AREN'T CHEAP, BUT THEY DID THEIR WORK WELL, WERE PUNCTUAL, FRIENDLY & PROFESSIONAL. IT LOOKS TO ME LIKE THEY DID THE JOB RIGHT. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN

So glad I didn't let the other company perform any work and called for the second opinion, which Village Plumbing provided for free. On top of that, Shawn cleared a slow drain that was evidenced when he was running water to diagnose any problems at no charge. Unbelievable. Also spent some time giving me opinions/options for replacing the trim package on my current outdated faucets when I asked him - even where I should go to purchase them. This is the only plumbing company I will call in the future if I have any plumbing or water heater related needs.

This morning, while in my basement, I discovered a small water leak in some copper tube piping. The piping was located in a very akward spot in the ceiling of our finished basement. I called our regular plumber and was told the earliest they could come would be in three days. I called another company and, after several minutes on hold, gave up. I searched Angie's List and called Village Plumbing. They offered to either schedule an appointment for the next day or to put on standby for today. We chose standby and were pleased when they arrived, after calling, within two hours. The plumber quickly assessed the problem and replaced the section of bad tubing. Additionally, he was courteous and tried his best to clean up after himself. Finally, they accepted the Angie's List coupon I had printed from the internet. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

They arrived later than promised. Said it would take about two hours. Finished in about an hour and neglected to re attach crawl space door. I arrived home at about 4.30 and discovered the problem, called the company and they rectified the problem but because the installation crew did not properly secure the crawl space I will not use the company for any additional work.

They came out for an inspection. They did the work and they were nice about it. I have used them for quite a while, but I wouldn?t go out of my way to recommend them. At the same time, I wouldn?t look for someone else. Professionally they are quite competent.

The water heater and the furnace combined together came up to $6200. The water softener was separate and that was $1200. They did a great job. They were very responsive and they worked with me in the availability on time; my furnace was going out so they came out on a Saturday. They really worked hard and gave advice on the appropriate equipments for the house. They had to call into the house and check the plumbing. They found some bad plumbing, so they took pictures of that and showed me. They repaired that as well. I would use them in future.

Once he got here it was fine. We called in a 9am, but he did not get here until 4pm. It was a weekend.

The service provided was done in a highly professional, efficient, and timely fashion. The work site was left clean, there have been no issues with the performance of the furnace, and the staff was quite skilled. In addition to the furnace install, this company has also been used for annual check-ups on the heating/AC units.

They?ve always done good work, and this time was no different.
