RUSS WAS VERY CAREFUL ABOUT COVERING UP THE CARPETING IN MY BATHROOM BEFORE STARTING TO WORK. EVERYTHING WAS COMPLETELY CLEANED UP WHEN HE FINISHED AND IT LOOKS GREAT! I WOULD DEFINITELY CALL THEM AGAIN. I INITIALLY CALLED WITH A LEAK THAT NEEDED IMMEDIATE ATTENTION AND THEY WERE HERE WITHIN 3 HOURS.

THE FIRST TECH CAME OUT QUICKLY, BUT WAS A JERK AND VERY RUDE. HE FIXED MOST OF THE PROBLEM. HE DID NOT, HOWEVER, EXPLAIN ANYTHING TO ME OR GET APPROVAL TO DO ANYTHING BEFORE HE PERFORMED THE WORK. I CALLED THE OFFICE ON MONDAY TO COMPLAIN. THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE AND SENT ANOTHER TECH TO COMPLETE THE JOB THAT WEEK, AND INCLUDED A DISCOUNT DUE TO THE FIRST TECH'S LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM. THE SECOND GENTLEMAN WAS GREAT AND RESTORED MY CONFIDENCE IN THE COMPANY. HE EVEN TOLD ME THAT HE WORKS FOR BROAD RIPPLE BECAUSE THEY CARE FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS, UNLIKE ANY OTHER COMPANY HE HAD EVER WORKED FOR. I ENDED UP AGREEING TO A MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT FOR THE HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEM, WHICH MAY ACTUALLY SAVE ME MONEY IN THE LONG RUN. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM WITHOUT HESITATION, EVEN GIVEN THE INITIAL EXPERIENCE.
Description of Work: I HAD THEM COME OUT ON A SATURDAY TO CHECK THE A/C THAT WASN'T COOLING. ALSO HAD A LARGE AMOUNT OF CONDENSATION POOLING ON BASEMENT FLOOR.

WE DON'T EXPECT REPAIR PEOPLE TO ARRIVE IN TUXES READY TO DANCE. WHAT WE DO EXPECT IS TO PAY A FAIR PRICE FOR REASONABLY HONEST AND GOOD WORK. IF OUR SYSTEM HADN'T BROKEN DOWN DUE TO NEGLECT ON BROAD RIPPLES PART, WE WOULD NEVER HAVE KNOWN. WE HAD THE SAME MAINTENANCE PERFORMED ON THE FURNACE IN THE FALL OF 2003 BY BROAD RIPPLE, AND WE CALLED BROAD RIPPLE WHEN THE FURNACE BROKE DOWN IN MARCH AND THEY INSTALLED A $450.00 COMPUTER CIRCUIT BOARD BECAUSE IT HAD GONE OUT, AND NOW THIS. WHAT I FIND TO BE GOOD IN ALL OF THIS IS THE OTHER COMPANY. THE OWNER ANSWERED THE EMERGENCY NUMBER WHEN I CALLED ON SATURDAY EVENING, JULY 4TH AT 7:00 P.M. AND HE SAID SOMEONE WOULD BE OUT IN THE MORNING, MONDAY JULY 5TH. THEY SHOWED UP, APOLOGIZED FOR HAVING TO DELIVER BAD NEWS, DRESSED PROFESSIONALY FOR THE WORK, CONSIDERATE, AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. I THINK BROAD RIPPLE IS CLAIMING TO MAKE REPAIRS AND NO ONE CAN PROVE OR DISPROVE THE WORK BECAUSE WE AREN'T EXPERTS IN THE FIELD. THANK FOR LISTENING.
Description of Work: AFTER VISITS FOR HEATING SERVICES BOTH MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR BY SAME COMPANY, WE HAD THEM COME OUT TO PERFORM ROUTINE MAINTENANCE ON THE A/C UNIT. WE WERE TOLD BY KEVIN THAT WE NEEDED MORE FREON, AND HE TOOK TAKE CARE OF THAT, AND HE LEFT AFTER BILLING US $155.00. WHEN THE SYSTEM BROKE DOWN ON JULY 4TH, WE WERE TOLD TO USE ANOTHER COMPANY BY OUR HOME WARRANTY COMPANY. THAT MAN REPAIRED THE SYSTEM FOR $130.00 AND TOLD US THE SYSTEM WAS FILTHY, HAD NOT BEEN SERVICED, AND THAT HE HAD TO TAKE OUT FREON. THERE WAS TOO MUCH IN THE SYSTEM. ONCE HE LEFT, THE SYSTEM HAS BEEN FINE. BOTTOM LINE, BROADRIPPLE IS PRETENDING TO DO SERVICE AND REALLY ISN'T. BUT THEY ARE GETTING PAID. I THINK THEY SHOULD REFUND MY $155.00 AND THE $130.00 WE HAD TO PAY ANOTHER COMPANY TO COME OUT. I SPOKE TO A MANAGER (DIDN'T GET HIS NAME) IN THE OFFICE ON THE TUESDAY AFTER, AND HE ASSURED ME THAT ''KEVIN'' DOES A GREAT JOB AND NO OFFER OF A REFUND. THAT WOULD BE FAIR. SHOULD I FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB?
