HAD TWO CREWS SCHEDULED FOR THE SAME DAY IN AM AND PM (ONE FOR DUCT CLEANING AND ONE FOR SERVICE AND HUMIDIFIER INSTALLATION). DUE TO A SCHEDULING MIXUP BOTH WORKERS ARRIVED IN AM. THEY QUICKLY ASSURED ME THAT THEY COULD WORK WITH EACH OTHER TO GET THE JOBS COMPLETED APPROPRIATELY, AND DID JUST THAT! THEY WORKED QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY, AND ONE EVEN LEFT TO FIND A CASE OF QUALITY FILTERS THAT WOULD FIT MY FURNACE (WHICH I HAVE BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL IN FINDING OVER THE LAST 5 YEARS). THERE IS A NOTICEABLE DIFFERENCE IN THE PERFORMANCE OF MY FURNACE.

I CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE, THEY PROMPTLY RETURNED MY CALL AND EXPLAINED TO ME HOW THEY DID THE DUCT CLEANING, AND ABOUT HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE. I SET UP THE APPOINTMENT AND HE WAS HERE ON TIME. HE EXPLAINED WHAT HE WAS GOING TO DO AND HOW EVERYTHING WORKED. IT WAS ABOUT A 3 HOUR JOB AND I WAS REALLY AMAZED AT HOW MUCH DEBRIS CAME OUT OF THE DUCTS. MOSTLY FROM CONSTRUCTION A WHILE AGO. THEN IN TWO DAYS ANOTHER FELLOW CAME AND DID THE MAINTENANCE CHECK ON THE FURNACE AND HEAT PUMP. THEY BOTH WERE VERY GOOD AND WE NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE IN THE HEAT COMING OUT. WE RECOMMEND THIS TO BE DONE AT LEAST ONCE EVERY 5 TO 8 YEARS TO A HOME. IT REALLY MADE A DIFFERENCE. THE EMPLOYEES AT BROAD RIPPLE HEATING WERE VERY POLITE AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. WE WILL USE THEM AGAIN. WE WILL HAVE THEM DOING OUR REGULAR MAINTENANCE ON THE FURNACE AND AIR-CONDITIONER.
Description of Work: CLEANED FURNACE DUCT PIPES THROUGH OUT THE HOUSE, AND DID A FALL MAINTENANCE CHECK ON FURNACE AND HEAT PUMP.

THEY WERE PROMPT AND CAME BRIGHT AND EARLY ON MONDAY. HE PUT BOOTIES ON TO KEEP FROM DIRTYING THE FLOOR. THEY DIDN'T TAKE LONG AND EVERYTHING WORKS QUITE WELL.

WHEN WE PURCHASED THE FURNACE THERE WAS TOO MUCH CONFUSION! I EXPLAINED TO THE SALESMAN THE IMPORTANCE TO HAVE THE BLOWER SET ON HIGH SPEED BECAUSE OF THE DUCTWORK IN THIS 85-YR-OLD HOME. THAT NEVER GOT PASSED ALONG TO THE TECHS WHO INSTALLED THE UNIT. AS A RESULT, WE HAD CONDENSATION DAMAGE TO THE WALLS IN AN UPSTAIRS BEDROOM, AND THE FURNACE HAD TO BE RE-PROGRAMMED. I PAID BY CREDIT CARD, THEN RECEIVED A 2ND INVOICE IN THE MAIL. I RECENTLY RECEIVED A SMALL CHECK WITHOUT EXPLANATION. THE INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYEES ARE VERY GOOD. THE TECHS WHO INSTALLED THE FURNACE WENT WELL ABOVE THE CALL OF DUTY, INCLUDING DEAD LIFTING THE NEW FURNACE TO GET AROUND A SHELVING UNIT IN THE BASEMENT. IF THESE FOLKS WOULD COMMUNICATE WITH ONE ANOTHER, THEY COULD BE GREAT. THE TECHNICIAN, MICHAEL, DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF KEEPING US INFORMED. IT WAS A HOLIDAY, AND HE HAD FOUR CALLS AHEAD OF US. THERE WAS NO CHARGE FOR THE CALL. I SUSPECT LESS REPUTABLE SERVICE PROVIDERS WOULD HAVE CHARGED FOR THE HOLIDAY CALL.
Description of Work: THIS WAS OUR SECOND ''FREE'' SERVICING AFTER PURCHASING A NEW FURNACE (FOR $2,369). SOMEONE CALLED THE DAY BEFORE TO CONFIRM ARRIVAL BETWEEN 9 AND 1. THE NEXT MORNING, WE WERE CALLED AT 7:30 AND TOLD A SERVICEMAN WAS ON THE WAY. SO MUCH FOR PLANNING. THE TECHNICIAN DID NOT EVEN LOOK AT THE HUMIDIFIER. PERHAPS THAT WAS BECAUSE BR HEATING DID NOT INSTALL IT, BUT AT LEAST I SHOULD HAVE BEEN ADVISED IT WAS NOT SERVICED, IN MY OPINION. FOR THE MOST PART, INDIVIDUAL SERVICE PEOPLE AT BR HEATING ARE PRETTY GOOD, WHICH IS WHY I WAS SURPRISED THE TECHNICIAN IGNORED THE HUMIDIFIER. THE OVERALL OPERATION, HOWEVER, IS A SOURCE OF FRUSTRATION. DON'T KID YOURSELF. THIS IS NOT A LOCAL FIRM. IT'S A BRANCH OF A TEXAS COMPANY THAT PAYS LIP SERVICE TO QUALITY, BUT NEVER SEEMS TO DELIVER. WE LATER WOKE UP THANKSGIVING MORNING TO DISCOVER OUR FURNACE, LESS THAN A YEAR OLD, AND SERVICED TWO WEEKS AGO, WAS NOT WORKING. THE TECHNICIAN DISCOVERED A WIRE HAD BEEN LEFT DISCONNECTED AFTER THE LAST SERVICING.

YES, WE HAVE HAD AN ASSOCIATION WITH LENNOX INDUSTRIES FOR 42 YEARS...WE''RE PROUD OF THAT CONNECTION. LENNOX IS THE LEADING HVAC COMPANY IN THE WORLD TODAY AND PRODUCES THE FINEST PRODUCTS AVAILABLE FOR CUSTOMERS IN HEATING AND COOLING THEIR HOMES. THEY WERE VERY POLITE AND HONEST ABOUT THE WORK THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. TOOK A COUPLE DAYS FOR SOMEONE TO CALL WITH AN ESTIMATE ON REPLACING THE FURNACE - BY THAT TIME WE HAD ALREADY GONE WITH THE OTHER COMPANY SINCE WE COULDN'T GO WITHOUT HEAT.

THE REP THAT PROVIDED THE ESTIMATE WAS NO LONGER WITH THE COMPANY WHEN I CALLED TO HAVE THE WORK COMPLETED. I HAD TO CALL BACK TWICE TO EVEN GET SOMEONE TO MAKE THE SALE. I THEN SOLD MY HOUSE AND FOUND OUT DURING THE INSPECTION THAT THERE WERE TWO ITEMS WITH THE INSTALL THAT WERE CODE VIOLATIONS. THAT TOOK SEVERAL PHONE CALLS TO RESOLVE. THE REP I WAS REFERRED TO ''LOST'' MY INFORMATION THE FIRST TIME, SO I HAD TO CALL BACK TO GET THE ITEMS RESOLVED FOR THE INSPECTION. IT WAS VERY FRUSTRATING AND AT NO POINT DID I RECEIVE ANY APOLOGIES FOR THE PROBLEMS. THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND WROTE ME OFF. I WON'T USE THEM AGAIN AND ADVISED THE PERSON WHO BOUGHT MY HOUSE OF THE PROBLEMS I HAD.

THE ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT I WAS GIVEN A 4-HOUR WINDOW FOR THEM TO SHOW UP, AND THEY CAME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LAST HOUR. I EXPLAINED THAT I WOULD BE IN THE AREA BUT NOT AT THE HOUSE, AND WOULD LIKE A TIGHTER WINDOW, BUT THEY COULDN'T DO IT.

I SHOPPED AROUND ON THIS AND WAS VERY, VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE AND PRICE FROM VILLAGE PLUMBING. AS COMPARED TO OTHER PLUMBERS, VILLAGE WAS HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS LESS FOR THE SAME PRODUCT. THIS WAS NOT THE ONLY REASON I CHOSE THEM. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH TAMMY'S PHONE MANNERS, HER ABILITY TO WORK US INTO THE SCHEDULE, HER HONEST APPROACH AND HER HELPFUL TIPS. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT. WHEN THE RO SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED, IT HAD A SMALL LEAK WHICH AFFECTED PRESSURE. THEY SENT THE TECH OUT THE NEXT DAY, DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM, QUICKLY LOCATED THE ADDITIONAL PIECE WE NEEDED, PICKED IT UP FROM OUT OF TOWN SINCE SHIPPING WOULD TAKE LONGER AND THEN FIXED THE SYSTEM WITHIN 24 HOURS. OVERALL, VERY PLEASED...AND THE WATER TASTES AWESOME!

THIS GENTLEMAN CAME AND GAVE US A BID. HE EVEN NOTED WHEN WE SUGGESTED SOME THINGS THAT HE WOULD DO IT IF WE WANTED IT DONE BUT IT REALLY WASN'T NECESSARY AT THIS POINT. WE HAD HIM DO THE WORK AND THE ACTUAL COST WAS LESS THAN HIS BID. JERRY WAS THERE WHEN HE GAVE THE BID AND WHEN HE DID THE WORK AND WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH HIM AS A MAN OF INTEGRITY AND ALSO OF GOOD WORK. WE WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM AND WOULD USE HIM AGAIN WHEN WE NEEDED PLUMBING WORK DONE. EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE.

I RECEIVED A TELEPHONE CALL FROM DAVID, THE TECHNICIAN, THAT HE WAS ON HIS WAY. DAVID WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. HE EXPLAINED WHAT SERVICES WERE INCLUDED IN THE MAINTENANCE. AFTER HE WAS FINISHED HE REVIEWED WITH ME WHAT HAD BEEN DONE AND WENT OVER THE BILLING IN DETAIL. I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED AND WILL CERTAINLY USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND RECOMMEND THEM TO MY NEIGHBORS.

THE TECHNICIAN WAS PUNCTUAL. THE SERVICE CALL WAS FOR BASIC CLEANING AND SERVICE. HE FELT I HAD A FREON LEAK (THIS WAS MENTIONED PREVIOUSLY BY MY FORMER SERVICE COMPANY WHO RECOMMENDED ''WAIT AND SEE'' AND DID NOT REPAIR) THE TECHNICIAN FROM BROAD RIPPLE SPENT AN ADDITIONAL 30 MINUTES OR SO TO LOCATE THE LEAK AND REPLACE A PART. WAS OVERALL HAPPY WITH THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE. SINCE MY PREVIOUS COMPANY HAD QUIT DOING RESIDENTIAL SERVICE WITHOUT NOTIFYING ITS CUSTOMERS, IT WAS NICE TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE WHO WORKED OUT. ALTHOUGH THE PRICE WAS HIGHER THAN I HAD PREVIOUSLY PAID, THE EXTRA TIME SPENT TROUBLESHOOTING AND REPAIRING THE LEAK WAS NOT EXCESSIVE. I WAS EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE ARRIVAL TIME, AND IT DID NOT REQUIRE PHONE CALLS IN ORDER TO LOCATE MY HOUSE.
