Went very well. Took 2 trips because he had to order the Schlage ( he had brought the Kwikset on the truck, since I had requested that during set-up phone call.)

Asked another locksmith to look at door lock and repair. The person they sent looked at the door lock and said it was too old and could not be repaired. They quoted $700 for a new door lock plus installation. I decided to get a second opinion and called Broad Ripple Lock Service. Chris came over the next day, took the lock apart and told me that he was pretty sure he could get parts to fix it. A few days later he returned with the needed parts and repaired the front door. Excellent service, would highly recommend.

It was fabulous. Trust is most important to me and with Chris's integrity and honesty, I trust him. My ex fiance', another good locksmith, recommended Chris. And now I do too.

We appreciated the fact that they came promptly. They were courteous and worked quickly. The small job didn't require two men. I felt the charge was a bit high for what they did, but the Angie's List discount of 10% helped reduce the cost somewhat.

These guys are fantastic! After putting up with a frozen auto trunk lock for three years, I took my car to Chris at Broad Ripple Lock. Chris explained that auto trunk and door locks often become frozen because people use the remote control rather than the key and eventually the lock freezes up to keys. It took Chris about 20 minutes to eventually work the lock free, charging me only $24 for two keys, a key ring and his labor time. He could not have been nicer. He had also ordered for me a new ignition cylinder lock, but before installing it we figured out the problem was with one of my original keys that had become worn. He advised me to get new keys made from my last good original and leave in the old ignition cylinder, even though the new cylinder had already come in. Service just does not get any better than this.

They fixed them at a fraction of the cost I thought I was going to have to pay to replace them. They were so friendly and knowledgeable I would not hesitate to use them again.
