He explained my situation thoroughly and repaired what was necessary. He even contacted the manufacturer and was able to reduce my bill because it was still under warranty. He was honest, polite, and very knowledgeable. I will call him next time I have a problem!

 + -1 moreOK WORK. WHEN GOING OUTSIDE TO GET SOMETHING FROM HIS TRUCK, HE LET THE DOG (PUPPY) OUT AND TOLD ME 20 MINUTES LATER "THE DOG MIGHT HAVE GOTTEN OUT." WHEN I FINALLY DID GET HIM BACK IN, HE HAD ROLLED IN SOMETHING, AND I HAD TO SEND HIM TO THE GROOMER FOR A BATH. HE DIDN'T HAVE THE CORRECT HUMIDIFIER PAD WITH HIM, AND TOLD ME I SHOULD GET ONE MYSELF. HE SAID LOWES WOULD HAVE IT, AND I LEARNED LATER THEY DID NOT CARRY IT. HE CAME EARLIER THAN PLANNED AND I HAD TO CHANGE MY APPOINTMENT. THEY OVERCHARGED ME. I FOUND OUT THAT THEY ARE ABOUT 1/3 HIGHER THAN OTHER ESTIMATES I GOT AFTERWARD. WHEN THE OWNER FOUND OUT ABOUT MY REPORT HE CALLED AND TOLD ME THE SERVICEMAN LEFT THE COMPANY A WEEK LATER AND THEN THE OWNER CAME OUT AND REDID EVERYTHING AND DID A SUPER JOB.

BREWER MECHANICAL DIDN'T GET THE JOB ONLY BECAUSE I NEEDED 12 MONTHS SAME AS CASH. BUT THEIR QUOTE WAS COMPATIBLE W/OTHER QUOTES AND I WOULD FEEL COMFORTABLE RECOMMENDING THEM TO ANYONE.

HOWEVER, SINCE WE HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER (EVEN THOUGH ONLY A CUSTOMER FOR A YEAR OR SO), ISAAC IS ALSO LOYAL TO US, AND DOES COME BACK TO MOORESVILLE TO SERVICE OUR HVAC, WHICH IS TELLING ABOUT THE OWNER OF THIS COMPANY. HE IS ALWAYS PLEASANT, HIS INSPECTION WAS THOROUGH (HE WAS THERE FOR TWO HOURS OR SO), WAS ON TIME (EVEN A LITTLE EARLY), AND HE WILL COME BACK IN THE SPRING TO CHECK AC, ETC. (HE DID SO THIS PAST YEAR).

HE ANSWERED MY CALL RIGHT AWAY AND WAS AT OUR HOUSE WITHIN AN HOUR. HE GAVE ME AN HONEST AND FAIR ASSESSMENT OF THE PROBLEM. WE AGREED ON THE REPAIRS. ON THE DAY OF THE REPAIRS HE WAS ON TIME, COMPLETED THE WORK, CLEANED UP THE MESS, TOOK THE OLD COILS AWAY, AND EVEN DID SOME EXTRA THINGS AT NO CHARGE. AS SOON AS HE WAS FINISHED I COULD TELL THAT OUR PROBLEM WAS FIXED AS THE UPSTAIRS OF OUR HOME WAS COOL, AND IT HAS NEVER BEEN IN THE SIX YEARS WE HAVE LIVED THERE. THIS ALSO TELLS ME THAT THE OTHER COMPANY I WAS DEALING WITH KNEW OF THIS PROBLEM AND DID NOT BRING THIS TO MY ATTENTION OR JUST DID NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH IT. WILL USE BREWER IN THE FUTURE FOR ANY HEATING AND A/C PROBLEMS.

HE FOUND THAT THE SPARK IGNITER FOR THE FURNACE WAS SHOWING SIGNS OF WEAR AND WAS ABLE TO REPLACE IT DURING THIS VISIT. I HAVE USED 3 DIFFERENT HVAC COMPANIES OVER THE LAST FIVE YEARS AND AM MOST IMPRESSED WITH BREWER MECHANICAL SERVICES IN TERMS OF THEIR LEVEL OF PROFESSIONALISM AND SERVICE. A NEIGHBOR CALLED ME WITH A ''NO HEAT'' SITUATION RECENTLY AND I GAVE HIM BREWER'S PHONE NUMBER. WITH SMALL CHILDREN IN THE HOME, IT WAS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO GET THIS PROBLEM FIXED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. BREWER MECHANICAL WAS AT THE HOME WITHIN 2 HOURS AND HAD THE PROBLEM FIXED SHORTLY AFTER THEIR ARRIVAL. MY NEIGHBOR WAS VERY GRATEFUL AND RELIEVED FOR BREWER'S PROMPT RESPONSE AND ABILITY TO FIX THE FURNACE PROBLEM QUICKLY.

HIS ESTIMATE, IF HE HAD HAD TO REPLACE THE COIL/PAN, WAS RIGHT IN LINE WITH AN ESTIMATE OF WHAT IT WOULD LIKELY COST THAT I HAD BEEN GIVEN BY MY NEPHEW (IN ANOTHER STATE) WHO DOES HVAC WORK FOR A LIVING, AS WELL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BREWER MECHANICAL TO ANYONE, AND IT WILL NOT SURPRISE ME AT ALL IF HE CALLS IN A FEW DAYS OR A WEEK TO FOLLOW UP.
Description of Work: OUR PROBLEM WAS WATER LEAKING FROM SOMEWHERE AROUND OUR FURNACE/AC, WHICH IS IN OUR LAUNDRY ROOM, AND OUR HALLWAY CARPET WAS WET. IT COULD HAVE BEEN A CRACK OR LEAK IN THE COIL/PAN UNIT, WHICH WAS THE DIAGNOSIS OF A MOORESVILLE COMPANY (WHO WANTED $1,300 TO FIX IT). ISAAC BREWER DIDN'T THINK SO. OUR WATER HEATER WAS ONLY 10-11 INCHES FROM THE FURNACE AND IT WOULD HAVE TO BE MOVED TO REMOVE THE FRONT PANEL FOR A PROPER DIAGNOSIS! ISAAC PERMANENTLY MOVED OUR WATER HEATER TO A DISTANCE FOR EASY ACCESS TO FURNACE, REPAIRED SOME PIPING AT THE FURNACE AND IN OUR CRAWL, INSTALLED A NEW DRAIN CUP IN THE FLOOR, AND EVEN OPENED UP SOME FLOOR SPACE FOR US BY USING A NEW FLEXIBLE GAS PIPING! HE WAS HERE TODAY FROM 9:30-ALMOST 3, WITH A BREAK FOR LUNCH. THE PRICE WAS LESS THAN I EXPECTED; AND HE DID NOT CHARGE US FOR THE FIRST SERVICE CALL (HE WAS HERE 2 HOURS THAT DAY). HE ALSO SAID WE DID NOT HAVE TO PAY HIM TODAY - BUT I DID. HE NEEDS TO CUT THAT OUT! ;-)

AFTER HE COMPLETED THE TUNE-UP, HE REVIEWED AN ITEMIZED LIST OF ALL THE THINGS HE HAD CHECKED. ALTHOUGH HE INDICATED THAT MY BURNER WAS NOT IN TOP CONDITION, HE VERY HONESTLY INFORMED ME THAT I COULD PROBABLY REPLACE IT NEXT YEAR. THIS GUY IMPRESSED ME AS BEING HONEST AND HARDWORKING.
