Arrived on time. After finishing the first stage of the repair, figured out how to replace the filter on this very strange set up (required removing part of the flue). Pulled in as I was parking the car after work. Finished the repair in less than 10 minutes.

It went very well. Nathan arrived 15 minutes early & went straight to work. His cleaning took about an hour. He left & I went back to work. Upon returning home that evening the furnace was off and the pilot light was out. I immediately called Brewer Mechanical and Isaac returned my phone call within five minutes. I explained what happened and he said he had a good idea what the problem was and that he'd be there within 15 minutes. He arrived promptly and was able to determine that because the furnace hadn't been serviced in so long that the thermal coupling wasn't staying warm and that was causing the furnace to shut off. He lit the pilot light and made sure that the furnace would come on and stay on (and it did, through the night and it is still running!). He was very courteous and thorough, making sure I understood what he did and that he was available for 24 hour emergency service. They did a fantastic job and I will certainly be calling them to service my furnace in the future.

The technician took his time and did a very thorough job of cleaning and inspecting the units. The time spent and attention to detail was much greater than the service we received from one of the larger national franchises that we've used in the past.

We were extremely impressed with Isaac. He did way more than I expected from a heating and air company. He measured all the windows, asked me a series of questions and even looked into the crawl space to ensure we got the most efficient furnace. He also gave us three different units to choose from (all Trane) and explained the differences so clearly that I was able to repeat it all to my husband when he got home that night. We ended up going with the highest end model, not because he pushed it on us but because we were the most impressed with it. We also got the humidifier unit installed. He was very prompt, polite, clean cut and replaced our furnace the next day so that we wouldn t be without heat. I called him Tuesday morning to set up an appointment and our furnace was replaced and the house was warm by Wednesday evening. I would highly recommend Brewer and would use them again if the need comes about with our water heater or AC unit.

Isaac is very knowledgeable about the heating/AC business and conducts himself very professionally. He is also friendly and courteous. He and Nathan arrived on time and finished the installation within the estimated time frame (less than 2 days). They were able to pull out the old furnaces and air conditioners, install a single gas furnace and a single heat pump, then re-engineer two separate duct work systems into a single system that cools/heats the house (about 2700 sq. ft.) much more evenly and comfortably than the previous systems ever did. It remains to be seen how much of a savings we will realize, but I'm confident the saving will meet Isaac's projections. There was a slight problem with an air vent. They were back within 2 days and fixed it within a couple of hours. I am very pleased with the quality of Brewer Mechanical's work, their integrity, dependability, and knowledge. I would unconditionally recommend this company to anyone needing heating or air conditioning work.

Awesome! Nathan arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule and did not seem annoyed by our obnoxious dogs barking at him when he pulled in. He listened to the problems we were having and immediately went into the crawl space, something the previous servicemen NEVER did, discovered it was a simple pitch problem and the overflow was corrected. He suggested we change the pitch of the main pipe under the house because it was horizontal and said we were apt to have future problems with others things in the home if we left it alone. He explained what he would do and my husband was able to do this work himself to avoid plumber costs. He serviced the geo unit and did things other guys had never done. He was very thorough and explained how the system worked in terms that I could understand. He worked for 2 hours until he was satisfied that he had done a good job. He told me two ports needed to be replaced but that it could be done at the next servicing. We signed up for a year contract.

They were on time and did a quality inspection. The service technician was helpful and willing to answer my questions. I signed a service contract with them. They were a bit slow to return my initial phone call, but were good after that.

They gave very good advise and came on time.

Isaac serviced the furnace the day of the initial call and arrived as scheduled. He was professional and knowledgeable, explaining all work and options upfront. Also noteworthy is that he removed his work boots at the front door each time he re-entered the house.

Brewer is fantastic. We were referred to Brewer by a general contractor who is highly rated on Angie's list. That is usually a great way to find someone. Isaac we here the next day to price it and unlike hvac companies he could do it all - plumbing and hvac. I had priced just the hvac portion from two other companies, and they wanted more than Isaac wanted to do the entire job. Sometimes when you get in the middle of a mechanical job you find things that you could not see before the job was started. On our job we found that we could not use the existing flue after the furnace was torn out but Isaac was very fair in how he handled this. He quickly estimated the additional cost of the added flue and even agreed to split the cost with me. His crew kept the place cleaned up and always showed up when they said they would. In an industry where most border on criminal, brewer is a shining star. I would not consider using anyone else.

They had it replaced in a day and were very prompt. He also came out a few days later and readjusted our air duct and vents.

Isaac Brewer and assistant (I just can't remember his name right now) did a nice job adapting the new unit to our existing Moncrief furnace(contractor special - 13 years old). They had to make the furnace base/box smaller (new coils/box are all smaller), and initially, they were going to leave the subfloor exposed until I complained (the furnace is in our laundry room). They fastened a sheet metal plate over it, and it is acceptable. It was something they could not help, but I was surprised they were going to leave it that way. Everything is working fine so far. We've never had a heat pump so we'll see. Isaac did a good job attempting to explain the principle behind a heat pump.

Excellent work. Arrived on-time, and was very thorough - best job cleaning we've ever had done for our air conditioning unit. Also, added freon. Unlike nearly every HVAC contractor we've had in before he did not try to sell us a new unit. When asked, he candidly discussed the new A/C units - freon-free - and the pros and cons of the "high efficiency" models. We will call them again, and have them install a new unit when ours is no longer functional.

We just bought a house that was vacant for a year and not well maintained before that. Isaac cleaned and charged the AC unit. He was very professional and personable. He gave us good information and a hanging file folder with all of the info we need inside. We signed up for regular service so he will be back in the fall. We are very happy that we called Isaac. Great experience.

The whole experience went very well. I don't enjoy buying this sort of thing but Isaac Brewer was very pleasant and patiently explained all of my options. He was very professional and seemed to know his business. The installation was completed in one day and everything worked as expected. The worksites (basement, yard) were left very clean. Isaac and his colleague installed the unit. Both took time to carefully explain how the new system would work as I never owned heat pump. I was expecting a real struggle in getting all of this done but from start (getting the estimate) to finish (completed installation) took only one week. I would recommend Isaac Brewer for any HVAC work. When I finally need a new furnace (Backup for the heat pump) I will choose Brewer.
