Any issues that came up during the building process-we were informed of right away and of the plans made to remedy the issue. A couple times we chose options that were pricier than what had been allotted in our specs. Reenie and UB told us about this at the time of selection so we could decide if we wanted to stick to that more expensive choice and incur the incremental cost or not. Our home is a quality home thanks to Bontrager Homes and they made buiding a custom home incredibly easy. I would build with them again

I was familiar with the high quality of the work of Bontrager Homes from a beautiful upscale home that the Bontragers had built for someone I knew. I was hesitant to call them, though, because I knew my project was much more modest. The Bontragers, however, were very friendly and always made me feel like my project was very important. They understood my budget and made it a point to stay within the stated amount. UB and/or Scott Bontrager were always on site and the work went so smoothly that it was completed a week ahead of schedule! They utilized professionals who were always on time and were knowlegable in their fields. Reenie Bontrager was a tremendous help in the selection process and gave suggestions that would create the desired effect without going over budget. They communicated well throughout the whole process and you knew exactly when to expect something to be accomplished and every question was immediately answered. They often surprised me by how closely they had listened to everything I had said and then adjusted things accordingly. Every aspect of working with Bontrager Homes is a pleasure. They are very nice people who are accomplished in their field and produce a high quality result. I was repeatedly told to be sure and call if I had any problems or questions with any of their work. I would recommend them highly and look forward to the opportunity to work with them again.

It was an absolutely wonderful experience and we have lived in this home 12 years and still love it. When we downsize we will definitely use Ubi and Reanie to build our retirement home.

Finishing the area over the garage has gone very well, just like all the other projects UB has complete for us. From the framing, to the drywall, lighting and flooring, the contractors and materials UB uses are top notch. I can always trust his judgement on different situations, and Scott always adds a great perspective on how we can do things and is fun to work with. We will use them again when we finish our basement, because we can trust them, and count on them to have innovative ways of doing things.

Building a house with the Bontragers was such a wonderful experience. Most people dread the process, but that was not so with us because of UB and his wife Reenie. Their best qualities are honesty, integrity, and personal care - exactly what we were looking for. We tend to be pretty picky about things and so are they. They are so approachable and responsive to our requests. They came on budget to within $10,000 on a $1.25 million dollar home. They kept us on track. The only reason we even went over that much was because we wanted to spend the extra money on certain areas. Even after having lived in our beautiful new home (which we absolutely love!) for 4 months now, they are still coming over to make sure things are to our satisfaction. They truly are a diamond in the rough. You would have to be crazy or uninformed not to consider the Bontragers to build your home! They come with highly recommended by other homeowners, developers and architects. They will give you the personal service and experience that many builders will not give you.

THEY ARE EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL, VERY CARING, AND THEY BUILT THE HOME AS IF THEY WERE BUILDING IT FOR THEMSELVES. THEY BUILT WITH EXTREME PERSONAL ATTENTION. OUR EVERY HAPPINESS SEEMED TO BE THEIR MAIN CONCERN AND THEY MADE SURE WE WERE SATISFIED. WE COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED AND WE WOULD USE THEM AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT. THEY BUILD CUSTOM HOMES ABOVE $500,000. THEY MAY DO HOMES THAT COST LESS, BUT I AM UNSURE.
