Steve Connor and Adam Miller set up the estimate and provided an outstanding 4 man team: Ferdinand, Eric, Carlos, and Jose are a very cohesive and focused team. They prepared our interior with plastic tarps, covering fireplace, stairs, and ceiling fan along with the floors with meticulous care. Matched ceiling pattern! No plaster dust! Everything cleaned and furniture replaced and it only took two days. They are the top level of skilled workers, and enjoyable to work with.

Bone Dry Interior drywall repair and repainting. 11/13/19 through 11/19/19. Outstanding people and company. $6634 Bone Dry proved again that they are customer and quality focused. 1. Steve Conner came on 10/08/19 and worked with me on the estimate as I changed my mind three times what I wanted. He continued to adjust the quotes and the work being done as my ideas and budget concerns crystallized. I signed the final contract on 11/04. He worked our project into their schedule so drywall repairs and repainting could be done while we were away on vacation, a win/win situation. 2. Drywall repair by Marvin was great as he called and spent 45 minutes walking through the entire house to understand what it was that we wanted done, and what we did not want done. Nail pops, paint chips, corner bead cracks, picture hanger holes, and 1 joint crack from 22 years of use. 3. Painting by Damien and his crew, sanded and then painted two coats for complete coverage with Sherwin Williams Pro Mar 200. Damien called to make sure that the house was locked up correctly before he and his crew left on the first day. I did not find one paint drop on the furniture in the entire house and the floors had been swept as well. The walls look really clean and new, just what I wanted. 4. Steve Conner came back on 12/05 for a final walk-through. I had one concern that was a miscommunication where some of the picture hangers were replaced in 4 walls which I did not ask for. It made sense as I still had other pictures hanging on other walls. Steve had Marvin and Damien both come back on 12/18 and discussed repainting the entire walls, or being able to remove the hangers and repaint just those spots. They were able to repair those holes and repaint around them so that even I could not see where they had been. A true art. Overall a very satisfactory experience, and would highly recommend them for interior as well as exterior work.

I think they are great. The best example is that when there was a mistake made by them and we had to call an after hours plumber they were very responsive and attentive. You can really tell the quality of a company by how they handle things when things don't go exactly to plan. Installer was great -in addition to the quality and speed of his work other people who were around told me that he was a "very nice guy".

As part of the siding replacement, the contractor agreed to attach the exterior dryer vent. Initially, the contractor forgot to do this and when reminded, it tried to do it without including the board needed to screw the vent in. Only, when I insisted that this work be done properly, the contractor installed the board required to properly attach the vent.

I was admittedly nervous about the fact that Bone Dry sub-contracts for their exterior paint. Either they do an excellent job screening their contractors or we were extremely lucky to get Romero's Pro Painters, LLC. Manuel Romero and his team were consummate professionals. They were punctual, kept in good communication with me, put in long hours, and were very careful and thorough. They completely scraped old, peeling paint before applying new paint; they taped and covered surfaces to avoid unwanted paint (my window cleaner was impressed that they avoided getting paint on the storms and screens); and they cleaned up each day before leaving. We are very pleased with the outcome and would use their services again.
Description of Work: Painted entire exterior of two-story house and garage, including trim and highlights.

The manager contacted us after seeing our initial review. He came out to look at the job and gave an estimate. Grant was friendly and knowledgeable. He changed our minds about using them since our first interaction was negative. I am glad we did. The crew came out today and James was wonderful. They took their time and did it right. He added some extra insulation over the heat ducts, etc to help ensure we wouldn't lose heat and maintain a proper R value. I highly recommend them and will refer them to people at work who are looking to have their R value increased. Thank you!!!

To early to tell. I believe we will contract with Bone Dry for ceiling work and for an attic fan installation.
Description of Work: I purchased two deals for $179 for up to 200 sq. ft. of premium R-60 Owens Corning insulation. They found the attic did not have enough air flow, even though the roof vents and the side attic vent were new with the roofing job done 6 years ago. The result is moisture and I thought it was a plumbing problem. Great job Bone Dry! We love you.

It went well. They arrived as scheduled. The house was painted in two colors. One for siding and one for the windows. There was a slight misunderstanding as to what was painted on the front, But the person in charge immediately corrected the problem. There were also a few paint splatters on the siding in the window color and they went around and took care of all of it when they were done. John Frey the estimator was very helpful and answered a lot of questions when came to estimate the job. He had great suggestions. I would not hesitate to use them again.

The individuals who completed the work were neat and professional. We will use the company in the future if needed.

They came on time and did the work as promised.
Description of Work: Repaired rooting wood siding and flashing underneath.
The quality of the work performed was very good. All contractors arrived on the agreed upon date and times to do their work, and were able to get their respective pieces done in a single day. The painters were careful to cover everything not being painted to prevent overspray which I much appreciated. My only complaint, and the reason I won't be using Bone Dry again, is because of a lack of clarity from the sale rep on what work was to be performed, which led to some of the trim and garage doors not being painted. During the entire process from the moment I called Bone Dry to get the estimate through to when the work was performed, I stated time and again to the sales rep that the work I wanted performed was exactly the work as described on the insurance estimate. The insurance estimate was very detailed and unambiguous as to what was covered. The hand-written estimate I received from Bone Dry on the other hand was very vague and barely legible. It even included some chimney work that I had not asked to be done and was not on the insurance estimate, which I subsequently had Bone Dry remove from their estimate. Because of how poorly it was written, it was near impossible to discern which items in the Bone Dry estimate matched up with which items in the insurance estimate. My insurance company expressed similar concerns. Due to my inability to reconcile the two, I simply verified with my sales rep verbally (multiple times) that the work they were going to perform was exactly as described in the insurance estimate, which he agreed to. I expressed specifically a concern that painting my garage doors was listed on the insurance estimate however was NOT listed on the Bone Dry estimate. My sales rep assured me the garage doors would be painted and all work would be done. After much back and forth with the insurance and my sales rep, I signed the estimate and agreed to allow Bone Dry to do the work. A few weeks after agreeing to terms with Bone Dry, the painters showed up to perform their work. To my surprise they had no instructions to paint the garage doors and had only been told about half of the areas of house trim to paint. I called my sales rep again to verify the work to be performed. At this point he stated that if it wasn't listed in the Bone Dry estimate then they would not be performing the work. This despite his earlier verbal assurance that they were going to perform all work that was in the insurance estimate. I was told it would be a few hundred more dollars (~$300) for this work (which I declined because I didn't want to give them any more of my business). Needless to say I was very disappointed. When it came time to do the work, he didn't want to do anything besides what was written on paper despite a number of prior verbal assurances that they would take care of everything. The sales rep told me that he never agrees to anything verbally to avoid situations like this, despite him doing that exact thing. In the end the quality of the work was good as I said. I had planned to contract them for some masonry work and some interior/exterior repairs for water damage, which surely would have made up for the few hundred additional they wanted to charge me for the garage door and trim. However after their inability to clarify the work to be performed and an unwillingness to work with me when a disagreement arose, I'll take my business elsewhere. I've also learned my lesson the hard way about taking contractors at their word. I won't make that mistake again!

They came out and did the inspection and what I needed done was going to cost more. I authorized them to do that. The invoice came out to $350 total. They told me that they were paid $116.35 from Angies List. Per my records I should owe $171.00, however they are telling me that I owe them $233.65. This is incorrect. As for the work, the job was fine, they really nice and quick. I have no complaints on that. I just want the price discrepancy worked out. Note: This review is a reflection of the price discrepancy, not the toe work done.
