Bolls Heating & Cooling

We were impressed that Bolls responded quickly to our request and fixed the problem, albeit temporarily, but got us through the hot months. We realize that they and other HVAC had to be swamped with requests due to customers taxing their air conditioning units and appreciate their responsiveness. After our experience, we recommended Bolls to a co-worker who also had an a/c that wasn't working.

Bolls was one of 3 estimates received and were willing to negotiate a reasonable price. The crew showed up on time and completed work per quote. I had a minor issue after the work was done and Bolls responded/fixed it quickly and professionally.

They are a little more expensive, but they are more readily available. I get wonderful services from them too.

We woke up to an air conditioner that didn't work, house already at 87 degrees and a forecasted temperature of 103 degrees. With two young children and pets, we were concerned about how much time it would take to get fixed. I called Bolls at 7am and they were at our house by 9:45am and fixed the problem in 30 minutes for a price well below what we expected (this was not emergency service at a ridiculous price, this was their standard service). They were very friendly, punctual and reasonably priced. This is the first time we have used them, but we will certainly use them again if needed.

I asked for service call since the system wasn't working well. To fix the old system would leave me with the old outlawed coolant.

Very happy with service. After 4 proposals, Sergi was the only one who didn't dance around with rebates, service contracts & unneeded furnace replacement, etc. Installation & duct workers were friendly, professional & neat. Their price wasn't the lowest but we felt confident in their product & service.

Their service was prompt and professional, They did what they said they would do.

Sergei did exactly what i needed he explained everything and was comparative and on time as well as very professional.

He did a great job on installing it. Also, he came before the estimate time frame. I thought that was GREAT!

With temps over 104 degrees, And no air conditioning, I needed to find a company I could trust very quick. I chose Bolls based on their excellent reviews and felt compelled to add another great review. The receptionist was very courteous when making the appointment, and provided an estimated time of arrival by a tech. She called 3 hours early and the tech was here 2 hours earlier than expected. Frank was very calm and spent time answering my questions and explaining his game plan. The situation was a simple fix, cost was low, but because the unit is 17 years old, he provided enough trust to consider replacing the unit later this fall. I'm so glad that Angies list was available in order for me to call the right company.

Lost air conditioning the Sunday night before leaving on a 2 week trio. Called Bolls, and left a message that I needed service before 10:00 am the next day. Got a call back at 8:00 am, the technician, was here at 9:30 am, diagnosed problem after inspecting inside and outside units, took about 45 minutes. Set up a call back for 2 weeks later and we literally found the technician out of the driveway on our way to the airport. Service was obviously "very responsive" and professional. When we returned, Bolls came out and verified the problem and provided options and costs (replace coil only verses replacing unit). We choose to replace the unit and scheduled installation for one week later. One week later, installers arrived and installed the new unit, recharged lines, etc. Installation took about 5 hours, very good work, cleaned up before leaving and took the old unit. New unit is fantastic, quiet, cool and just great! We have used Bolls, for over 15 years and I would "highly" recommend them.

During the hottest days on record, my air conditioner stopped working. I called for service when I returned home from work at 8 pm to an unexpectedly very warm house. Bob offered to send a technician that evening, but due to the demand for service from others, it wouldn't be until around 11 pm. I didn't have the heart to add to the already overworked technician, so we agreed to the following evening at 8 pm. Andy arrived at 7:45 and had my house cooling by 9:15. The condenser fan motor had locked up and needed replaced. Luckily, he had the correct relacement in his truck. Andy was pleasant, knowledgable, and efficient. On a previous service call to my house for a different reason, I signed up for their Comprehensive Service Plan, so this call cost me nothing.

I think they're great. We'd been using them for our a/c & furnace. We checked with them for this service & they were able to help us. They were excellent. We would recommend them.

Sergei, the owner, came first to talk about our needs and give an estimate. He was extremely thorough, and asked good questions about our needs and past use of air conditioning. He also was sensitive to our need to keep to a budget. He ended up recommending an air conditioner that was smaller than we had expected to need. He said this would actually work better than a more expensive unit because of the size of our house and other factors. I was impressed that he didn't try to sell us more than we needed. The two men who installed the unit were very professional. They also seemed to be enjoying their work. It was nice to have pleasant people coming in and out of the house all day. They took a lot of time. I felt like they weren't just rushing to get the job done, but really wanted to make sure the work was done properly.

The gentleman came on time - polite - educated me on the air conditioner and answered all questions - worked quietly while my son slept. I appreciated him and his work

Got estimates from Bolls & 2 other A/C companies thru Angie's lis/ Bools was most reasonable and offered options hired them for least expensive option & am very happy !They were upfront, honest & fixed my A/C perfectly.

I would like to thank the Bolls Co. for their honesty and integrity dealing with senior citizens. The compressor for the air conditioner was replaced free. Which made a big difference in the price of the job. Thanks again for your honesty.

We signed up for their service plan that covers the spring and fall seasons. We used them in the last couple of years. They back flush the AC, check all functioning parts. They are thorough and very professional in appearance. They are a good bunch of people. Their pricing includes insurance to cover certain expensive parts that may need to be replaced.

Everything was perfect. I couldn't ask for anything better! What I liked best about them was that the company's president, Sergei Traycoff, came out and did the bid and explained what to expect from their service.

Not late at all work - no play new top of the line very neat clean up and done it works fine.

Two gentlemen arrived with material and floor covering to protect my hardwood floors. They were very professional and efficient. Came at 10 a.m. and left at 4 p.m. I am very pleased.

They visited us for servicing. They did a good job. They come out quarterly. They check the humidifier and the furnace. They are reliable and punctual. They always call to schedule the appointment.

The workers were on time, exceptionally courteous and did an excellent job. They were very professional and responsive to questions.

They offer 10% off discount with Angie's List, but gave me a hard time about the discount. It was still not running right after they came to fix it the first time. They came out again on 3/1/12 and claimed that the flame sensor was dirty so they cleaned it again. I did not ask them to clean it again; I asked them to fix it. They tried to tell me in the office that it was cheaper to just clean it. They left a message on my answering machine stating they had a special for cleaning of the furnace for $89, but charged me $99 the second time they came out and simply cleaned the same part they previously cleaned. ***UPDATE 3/20/12: I have changed the grades and would like to comment on the experience overall. I left the above information and narrative so as to explain why I would give the overall experience a B. However, the company called me back to resolve this situation. They were under the impression that the one part (flame sensor) needed to be cleaned to correct our problem; however, this was not the case. They have since made amends and have refunded the most recent charge of $99. I may consider using them in the future.***

We've worked with them for a long time. We purchased the furnace from them. They are reliable and professional...they always call before they come and they come right on time. We've been very satisfied with them.
