+ -1 moreI purchased a blower motor from Bob. I initially called places closer to my Fishers home because I didn't want to drive to Speedway. However, none of them are willing to sell parts to the general public. I installed the motor myself but I messed up the wiring. I called them back and they sent out a technician named Kurt right away. Kurt was super friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. It turns out I had the motor running in the wrong direction. He figured it out right away, fixed it, and mounted my capacitor. He even fixed my furnace door. He was in and out in a flash. I would definitely recommend Bolls for all your HVAC needs.

+ -1 more. I called Bolls for an estimate and Sergei Traycoff came the next day. He explained very thoroughly what my options were. This was the third company I had spoken to and though the price was higher than the others, I felt that I was getting more for my money. I scheduled the service for the following week and was pleased with the work. Very neat, very clean, on time and professional.
Description of Work: I had Bolls Heating and Cooling reconfigure our furnace so that a 5 inch filter was next to the furnace. Previously we had 4 filters in the ceiling of our lower floor .

Description of Work: Called around 11 am to make appointment because furnace was not working. Appointment was scheduled to be around 2pm. I was called an hour after scheduling and notified that a tech had freed up and would be on the way. The issue was found during diagnosis. I did not have to pay for further repairs.

+ -1 moreWe came home to a 56 degree home Friday afternoon. After a couple unsatisfactory experiences with a previous company, we decided to try someone else. We knew it would be a challenge late on Friday, but we pulled Bolls based on Angies List reviews. They were very responsive and sent someone out within an hour of our call. We had a good idea of what the problem was, but the technician Frank went right to work figuring out the problem. He was up front with us that the issue (a fresh air intake fan motor) may be problematic as the supply houses were now closed for the weekend, but he would go back to the shop in the morning and see if he could locate one as he was aware that we were without heat during a very cold weekend. He returned the following morning with a fan motor found from another unit in the shop that was just slightly different, but would most likely work. It did indeed work and we were back in business by mid morning the next day. Frank did a great job and was concerned and took care of us as if we were his own. Job well done and I would highly recommend this company.

+ -1 moreThe experience was more expensive than I had hoped, but less than a whole new furnace.
Description of Work: The furnace would not run at all. I called them to receive an estimate of what was wrong and what it would take to repair the furnace. The repairman arrived promptly and immediately set to work trying to find the problem. He attempted to repair the piece that was not letting the furnace keep running. After several attempts to repair the part, he finally indicated that a whole new compressor section would have to be installed. Thinking a second trip would have to be scheduled, I prepared myself. After the repairman made a call, he indicated that he would go get the part and put it on today. He was gone less than an hour and put the new part on. Now the furnace is working. He was very prompt, courteous, and gladly accepted the Angie's List 10% off coupon.

The installers were amazing-on time, worked extremely hard & cheerfully, and clean up was done very well. They even helped us with removing & hauling away a lighting rod steel mesh cable!

Description of Work: Our company contacted Bolls to provide HVAC services to our multiple Indianapolis Area locations. We were told a certain service price. When I met with the owner, he gave me a price sheet that was nearly $50 more per hour than what we were told on the phone. I contacted him to follow this up and Bob, his operations manager emailed me back. He stated that there was a recent price increase, but the price he sent me was $30 less per hour than what the owner Sergi had given me. When I inquiried about why and if the original price would be charged to us on September 27th, I received no response. I emailed the operations manager back on October 9th as well to follow up. Neither email was returned and the email address was confirmed from his original email he sent me. To this day, I have received no response. With multiple charges given by two different members that changed each time I spoke with them along with the fact that my emails were not returned, I am left to conclude that this is a company that cannot accurately provide pricing to its customers. Thus, I would not recocmend nor use them in any manner and would tell other members to be sure you get pricing in writing up front. I contacted them originally for their high ratings and Super Service Award status, but wouldn't reccomend they receive these this year.

After that he gave me a written estimate. I told him that I usualy get three estimates,and I would get back with him.When I called back to let him know their bid was higher than one of the others, he immediately lowered their's.The tech. Michael, who installed the unit was very nice and polite.very respectful in my home.If he didn't know the answer to some of my questions, he said he didn't know and he would have some one from the office call me, and they did.I like the fact that he was honest and not just make something up.I was attracted to this company because of some of the reviews, and because it 's a small family owned business.

+ -1 moreDespite the heat wave (and given our need was NOT an emergency) Bolls was still able to arrange for someone to come out within 24 hours. The service man was prompt and arrived as scheduled. He looked over our system, answered our questions, addressed our concerns and provided an annual service to the AC. He also recommended waiting to look over our heating system given they would be running a better deal in the fall which would save us money. I appreciated the honesty, prompt service and will definitely be using Bolls again.
