Bolls Heating & Cooling

I called on Sunday and they came right out on Monday. Another service man came to confirm the damage and the need for all new unit. It was installed that Wednesday.

Installer was polite and professional, first checked job site and explained where the unit and control should go; I agreed. Mark brought all the tools and material into the garage so that it could be closed, as it was very cold out. He was very efficient, completed job in about 1 1/2 hours. He cleaned up the aread and answered all our questions about use and maintenance. The whole experience was very pleasant.

Great! On time, fair, and reasonably priced. Impressed that they didn't try to sell us, Products we didn't want or need.

They were very responsive and gave great advice as to the recommended alternatives. They came out the next day and replaced furnace. Great attention to our home and their quality.

Furnace had a broken part. He fixed it and it fired right up. Christmas was saved AND I made noon mass.

Two technicians arrived on time and left the place looking just like they found it (only with new equipment). Explained all new equipment to me. Once it was installed, couldn't be happier.

All parties were helpful, courteous, clean, tidy, thorough, competent, and polite.

Everything went smoothly including promptness, neatness, togetherness and efficiency.

We first called Bolls to fix our old system that had stopped. They came out the next day and got it running for less than $150.00. We knew our old system was on it's last leg. Because Bolls was easy to work with we decided to get and estimate from them for a new heating/cooling system. The sales rep. gave us several options and discussed the pros and cons of each. Their prices were in the ballpark we were expecting. There was no pressure. We chose the system best for our needs and budget. We were in no hurry for installation (as long as our old system kept working). They called us in a week or so. Came out when they said they would. They took care not to harm our wood floors as they removed the old system and installed the new. The two men, one inside and one outside, worked together to get the job done in one day. They were very polite and nice and tolerant of our barking dogs. They came back about a week later to check on the system. It seems that we got a new model and they were afraid they may have done something backwards, as the new model was different than the older models. We appreciated their professionalism. Everything about the company has been first rate from the first phone contact to the finished service.We are very satisfied and would recommend them to others.

My experiences with him was excellent. He was very professional and I enjoyed dealing with him a great deal and I wouldn't hesitate doing business with him again. It's just the price was so expensive and we resolved the issue for $5. We found an alternative solution that was so inexpensive.

My induction motor started making a loud noise and continued to get worse. Another HVAC company was already scheduled to clean and inspect furnace so I had them look at the motor. They recommended a new furnace based on the age of furnace (1998), efficiency of furnace (80%), and cost of motor repair (about $700). They quoted a couple options in the $3000 - $4000 range. I decided to have a 2nd opinion from another company and after inspecting the furnace recommended the same; new furnace but slightly better offer on new furnace/new humidifier. I almost committed to new furnace but at last minute decided to call Bolls. The president of company came out for no charge and immediately informed me that the heat exchanger was under warranty for a few more years (I didn't have any of the original paperwork from previous home owner) and recommended fixing the furnace and get a few more years out of it before spending the money for a new one. He sent his technician out two days later who found a loose nut on motor that was not in plain sight and simply tightened it - problem solved! They charged about $80 for service visit and about $70 to service and fix the leaky humidifier. Furnace is running great and I should get a few more years out it. Very knowledgable and honest group of people at Bolls.

In 2014, I had an energy audit performed on my house. During this audit, it was brought to my attention that the filter for the furnace was inadequate because it caused the static pressure to be too high while the furnace or air conditioner was running. I was using the filter size installed by Boll's. I had Sergei, come out and he informed me that the filter size was adequate, but i was using a filtrete air filter which caused the problem. He offered to fput in an air cleaner t system for over $400 more. He, also, told me that the installers would have offered this to me when the system was installed. They did not offer this to me and I was not told that filtrete filters would cause a problem. I am very disappointed that none of this was mentioned at installation. I will not be using Boll's on any further calls for my house. I hired a third company to come and check out my furnace. They also came to the conclusion that the size of the air return was too small and needed to be enlarged. I am uncertain why Bolls did not agree with the other two companies and were unwilling to fix the problem that was their doing. It confirms my initial review. It may have stated the info in the original contract, but I had asked the installer about my concerns because they reduced my intake size and was told it did not matter. According to the other two companies, it does matter. I did not have a filtrete filter in the system when it was checked by the third company from Angie's List. This has been a very disappointing experience that should have been explained 8 years ago.

Bolls sent a gentleman out who was knowledgable a friendly. He inspected and cleaned the furnace and taught us about how to use the programmable thermostat.

Bolls does all of our heating and cooling needs. We are on their annual maintenance plan. Our water heater was leaking one evening. We called, and the next day someone came out to replace it.

Determined my coil needed replacement, ordered the part and repaired in a timely fashion.

The two gentlemen Matt and Ray arrived on time, were very nice and did a wonderful job. Could not be happier with their work.

Everything went great. Two installers arrived at the time agreed upon, were polite, professional and efficient. Kept everything clean while working and afterward. Finished job sooner than expected. Made sure the equipment was working properly. I would recommend Bolls to anyone.

They were called on August 24 because air conditioner quit working. They arrived promptly on the 25th, serviced the unit and added coolant. They scheduled another visit to provide a quote for replacement on September 2. But after it quit again on August 27, the owner came out, provide a quote and arranged to have work started the same day and completed the following day. Their responsiveness and professionalism were very impressive and appreciated. Great to work with.
