BOBCAT OF INDIANAPOLIS

Scheduling was easy, the Bobcat was dropped off when requested and picked up when requested. The machine was in good shape and worked perfectly. The scoop and jackhammer were easy to attach and detach. We were able to get all the work we needed done effectively with the machine (demolishing a concrete porch, tearing out fencing, laying rock, etc.) and we would not hesitate to use this company again should we need it. My only concern was with pricing. We rented from this company last year on the exact same weekend (coincidence) and the cost was half what I paid this time. I am aware the jackhammer piece was extra, but I'm not sure if it's truly worth an extra $300. There was also a $70 insurance that was tacked on without our knowledge. After they picked the machine up, we noticed it in our bank account. The communication could have been better there. I remembered last year that we were charged an arm and a leg for not filling the gas tank to full, so we made sure to do that this time around. All in all, it was a good experience and I appreciate that these machines are offered for rental because they do make work around the house a lot easier, I just wish the pricing was a little more reasonable and transparent. The folks at the company seem to be nice and you honestly don't have much contact with them aside from talking with them on the phone.

I called in September or October to request a tune-up and PM, explicitly NOT urgent, since I've no crops to get in, and the tractor gets at best very occasional use. In November, they called, scheduled an appointment, arrived as scheduled, and performed the tune-up and PM expeditiously. Upon completion, the service man started the tractor (very easily), but couldn't get the gearshift out of Neutral. He removed the gear box cover, verified that there was no corrosion and appropriate lubrication, but no movement. After calling the shop, we rocked the tractor while he used a pry bar, and eventually loosened the linkages. I took the tractor for a spin and was able to engage all 5 gears.

I needed to rent a bobcat to regrade my home. My husband contacted the business a week prior to make sure they would have the particular bobcat we needed (S70). They stated they would and that this particular model had not been rented out for months. They told me to contact them Thursday to put the rental through and have it delivered Friday. Thursday I contacted them and tell me the model I wanted was been rented out the day before for weeks. Insert sigh. Luckily, they were incredibly apologetic and offered to rent me the next model they had available at no extra charge. They upgraded me to the S130 which was much larger than what I really needed, but it got the job done at no extra cost. They deliviered it and picked it up with no extra effort. They were really helpful and nice. I did get charged an extra $20 something dollars which I think is from the gas I used (which wasn't much), but I should have remembered to fill it. Another thing that was slightly annoying was the fact they took $1000 as a deposit for the machine but did not warn me. It didn't cause me any problems, but took me by surprise. It was returned a few days after they had picked up the cat but again, I wish I would have been warned.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS,AND HELPFUL. I HAD SEVERAL QUESITONS ON HOW TO WORK THE MACHINERY AND WHEN I CALLED THEM THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL IN WALKING ME THROUGH THE INSTRUCTIONS. THEY DELIVERED THE PRODUCT ON TIME AND PICKED IT UP ON TIME. OVERALL THIS EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT.
