HE DID NOT CHARGE ME FOR LOOKING AT IT, GOT BACK PROMPTLY AND WAS EXTREMELY NICE AND HELPFUL.
Description of Work: HE WAS UNABLE TO FIX MY MACHINE BECAUSE THE PART THAT WAS NEEDED WAS UNUSUAL AND NO LONGER AVAILABLE.

WHILE BOB WAS VERY NICE, I DON'T FEEL CONFIDENT WITH HIS SERVICE. THE SEWING MACHINE WORKED THE FIRST TIME I TRIED IT. HOWEVER, NO MATTER WHAT I DID, IT WOULD NOT WORK, THEREAFTER. I CALLED ANOTHER SEWING MACHINE REPAIR SERVICE WHO, BASED ON MY DESCRIPTION, OVER THE PHONE, THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE THE TRANSDUCER, IN THE FOOT PEDAL. I TOOK MY MACHINE THERE, AND THEY SHOWED ME HOW THE TRANSDUCER WAS BROKEN. BASED ON THIS, I NOW QUESTION BOB THEILE'S SERVICE.
Description of Work: I WAS HAVING A PROBLEM WITH MY SEWING MACHINE AND TOOK IT TO BOB THEILE. HE DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AS THE FOOT PEDAL HAVING A BAD ELECTRICAL CONNECTION. HE DID NOT FIX ANYTHING JUST ADVISED THAT I NOT WIGGLE THE CORD WHEN USING. I WAS CHARGED $35.

HIS ESTIMATE WAS MUCH LOWER THAN THE MANUFACTURER, AND THE MANUFACTURER SAID THEYD HAVE TO SEND IT TO CHICAGO. GREAT WORK, AND HE GAVE HELPFUL ADVICE.
