Blakley's Flooring

The sales professional was very knowledgeable and was able to help us figure out what carpet would be best for our needs. They came out and measured quickly and accurately. They also had a computerized program at the store that showed how the carpet would be laid, for example, where the seams would be. We were fortunate and had great carpet layers that came and put our carpet in. They were great, clean, and fast. It was very well done.

We set out to find the best price and best looking hardwood floors. I received Blakley's information through an interior decorator. We met at the showroom and selected the flooring, and scheduled work to be done within a few weeks. It took a day and 1/2 to complete the project. The guys did a great job creating solutions for some sub floor problems we had, and overall the work was good. I did have to follow up because the saw blade was getting dull and causing some splintering in the pieces. When I drew it to the workers' attention, they ran out to purchase a new blade. My only complaint would be that they don't add trim on, or trim down doors after the project is complete, we had to hire that work out. We just wanted to be done with it day of and were delayed finding someone to do the work.

The sales staff was friendly and really knew their stuff. We were quickly shown samples that met our criteria and took them home. While we found things we loved, we decided not to spend the money now. We'll definitely be back in the future.

Jennifer was great to work with and kept in touch with me throughout the process. The measurement guy was very professional and friendly. The installers were very professional, too.

This was a very good experience. The carpet looks great. They came out when they said they were going to come out and finished when they said they were going to finish. They cleaned up well when they were done.

They were wonderful. This was an unusual floor because of the age of the house. We had an inconsistancy in the linoleum . The contactor said that we might have to live with it but we called Blakely's and they came out with an Armstrong representative. They went right to the spot and said, "Oh no, you can have that." They replaced the entire floor. They even let us keep the old flooring and we put it down in our barn, so it wouldn't go into a landfill.

This was the first time we had used this company. Everything went great. They did a really good job and cleaned up after themselves. Jennifer at the store was very helpful in assisting us with choosing the carpet.

Another carpet company had said it was impossible to repair Berber carpeting, but Blakely's service department said they would be able to do it. They scheduled the repair within one week of my original call to them and 2 representatives arrived on time. In less than 30 minutes they had completed the work to my complete satisfaction. It is very hard/impossible to tell where the snags were.

I was really impressed with the speed that they installed the carpet. I thought that the showroom could have had a wider selection of carpet to choose from. Make sure that the color of the carpet matches the sample you selected. Also, make sure any cash discounts are applied, before you sign the contract. The installers accidentally pushed a door knob through a wall, but Blakley's sent me a check for $50 right away, to have it fixed.

We loved our salesperson. She was not pressuring us into anything. They had to replace some of the carpet because part of it didn't match. They were good about staying in touch. They had to wait for the factory to do some more carpet to match the other piece.

They were professional and on time. They worked hard and finished ahead of schedule. They were nice to have in the home.

They sent someone out and they removed all the old carpet and padding. We ordered more carpet from them. We have bought carpet from them two other times. They are very good. I recommend them to anyone. They are very trust worthy. They have a variety of different kinds of carpet. You will be able to find what you want. The carpet holds up really well. They have very good sales people. They are very good about calling you back. Very professional. They don't try to push anything on to you.

They've already followed up without me calling. They are very nice people and do what they say they're going to do.

They helped with the choice of carpet and floor. They came out and measured the area that needed to be carpeted and rooms for the laminate flooring. The removed the old carpeting. The men who did the installing were very good and considerate. They hauled away the old carpet.

They are always on time, and if there is a change in schedule they call ahead and make sure that it is OK with you. They are always professional. Always courteous and kind.

Professionalism was apparent from the moment I walked into the showroom. With fabric samples in hand, the sales employee listened to my needs, from style & fiber content of rug to price range. I had done much investigating prior to this trip so I thought I had a pretty clear idea of what I was looking for. The sales employee appropriately guided me to a different style. She was right! I knew as soon as the fabrics were with the rug this was the right choice. I've found a new carpet store!

They did a fine job and I would use them again.

Easy to work with, flexible, took carpet out, allowed us to paint and then came back to install carpet. Cleaned up well in the rooms they carpeted, but weren't very careful about cleaning up in other areas where they may have tracked things through.

Blakley's measured/cut the living room carpet wrong and installer had to drive across town to get another piece. Other installers remained, moved furniture, sat in the driveway on the rolled up carpet that didn't fit and chain smoked, throwing butts in the lawn/driveway. I had offered them chairs to sit on the patio while waiting. Second piece was measured/cut wrong also and required a seam in the middle of the hall or another week or so to try to reorder. I could not wait as painters were scheduled. They laid the dining room carpet that day. Second trip-MBR carpet measured/cut wrong (third major mistake) so walk-in closet could not be carpeted. Had to wait about 10 days for carpet to be ordered. I feel it is a different dye lot/run. Meanwhile, I noticed the dining room carpet reeked of cigarette smoke. I tried to air this out, wait a while, but that did not work. The second seam in the hall is still raised. I spent a summer without a living room, etc.-Blakley?s had no concern.

Work was excellent. They were not the lowest but in the middle.

Very patient with completing the work and worked with me on getting it completed. They are also very polite and they also allowed me to vacuum after they removed the carpet. The service provider also cleaned up well after they laid the carpet and finished the job. They moved the furniture very carefully not to knick the walls.

They were fantastic to work with. I had wanted new floors for a while but knew it would be a big undertaking and was cautious to contract with anyone due past bad experiences with Brown's Flooring. However, from Gayle the salesperson to all of the installers, they were friendly, professional, helpful and did great work! They moved all of the furniture and put it back for me. They even laid my area rugs!! I still had a closet floor to empty when they got there, and God love them, they even emptied it for me! I absolutely love it!

Great service! Kathy Sloan was great and my experience could not have been better. They were knowledgeable and professional.

They were having a grand opening sales so I got a great price. Everybody was very professional and courteous. It was nice dealing w/ them.
