Excellent service and products. Jennifer, my sales representative at the Blakley's store in Carmel, has a great deal of experience in this industry, and she was extremely helpful in recommending products and offering suggestions to suit my needs. When I later encountered a problem with a product, she met with the manufacturer's representative and obtained the manufacturer's agreement to replace the product at no charge. Installation services were similarly impressive. Installers were courteous and professional, and had a great deal of prior experience. All-in-all, I recommend Blakley's very highly.

The service was excellent and the workers were excellent. The cost was high, but you pay for what you get.

It went well. They had to come back and redo a few things that were wrong when the people installed it, but they were overall very helpful and cooperative.

I wouldn't use anyone else. I had excellent advice from the sales person in picking out the patterns and colors. The installation was excellent, and the price was fair. The sales person called both before and after the installation, and also sent a follow-up letter. I was very impressed with their professionalism.

The company has had to come back now four times to fix the flooring. They are standing by the warranty, but there have been some difficulties with the process. My recommendation is that I am glad they are sticking by their warranty without question. They recognized problems and re-did the floors three times on their own recognition which I appreciated.

Hilery greeted me and explained the different types of tile, and what she thought would best meet my needs considering my budget. I was treated as professionally as anyone who might have been purchasing a more expensive tile and a larger amount of tile. Followup, both written and by phone, was very good. I was very pleased with my experience and will contact them again the next time I have a flooring project.

Everyone I dealt with at Blakley's was great to work with .. professional, helpful, and very skilled. They all made the process very easy.

They addressed every concern I had. They were neat and prompt. I would hire them again.

When the carpet was installed, the color varied from section to section. The installers called it to my attention and called their supervisor. The supervisor agreed that this was a bad dye job and Blakely's would take care of replacing it. Meanwhile, the installers finished the job, so we would have some carpeting on the floor. The office called to tell me that the carpet was the end of the roll and dyes can vary. The company would start production of this carpet/color in a couple of weeks and Blakely's would reinstall the carpet. As expected, Blakely's took up the off-color carpet and installed the new carpet. Getting the carpet damaged and then replaced was a negative experience, but the plumbing vendor and Blakely's took responsibility for their work and fixed it. Fortunately, we were not under any time pressure so we could afford to go with the flow. I appreciate Blakely's customer service and would go back to them again.

They taught us about the different types of wood flooring and they helped us decide on color and width of the board and everything. They helped us pick out exactly what we wanted. They were on our schedule, they were here when they said they would be here, they got the wood flooring installed in two or three days, and the carpet people were here as soon as the last floor board was put down. The carpet people moved the furniture and they were wonderful. We had a great experience with this company. I can't say anything other than the best.

Initially we decided to go with the new SmartStrand carpeting. This brand is supposed to be easier to keep clean. After the installation we noticed that we were developing spots where nothing had been done to soil the carpet. We called Allen to simply warn him of the problems we were experiencing since this is a new brand of carpeting, thinking there was nothing that could be done about the problem. Allen did not want us to be unsatisfied however, and insisted on coming to our home to look at the carpet. After seeing it, he too was unhappy and took a sample to send back to the company. After testing they determined that a chemical coating was left off of the carpet. Allen pushed for the company to replace the carpet at no cost to us. After they agreed, Allen himself insisted on helping us pick out the new carpet. It was installed Wednesday and we love it. I had no expectations of this type of service when I initially called about the problem. Allen and his employees were a pleasure to work with. I will be one of their biggest advocates among my friends and family.

We were very satisfied. We were also satisfied with the personality of the installers. They encountered a really difficult situation when a electrical supply box outside the house blew up just as they were starting causing them to be without power for 3 hours. They hung around and were able to make everything work.

They did a very good job. They were very prompt and I would use them again.

For the most part, I was satisfied. I sought them out because of their rating on Angie's List. I was satisfied with the sales people, and the choices for my selection. For the most part, the installers were professional. It was not until the very end of the job that I became a bit disenchanted with them. It involved carpeting the stairs going out of the basement, I thought the work they did was poor so I advised them of that. They offered to correct it but it's too difficult to schedule so I decided to tackle it myself.

Excellent. The sales associate was very knowledgeable, very helpful and wasn't pushy. She gave me some ideas. The installers were very nice, very clean, very neat and very quick. The carpet turned out very good and I would use them again. I was extremely pleased with them.

From start to finish, I was very pleased. I had used Blakley's previously at my office but this was my first in-home experience. The in-store representative Julie VanWinkle was very competent and knowledgeable about carpeting, listening to my needs and price limitations, and offering sound recommendations. I have two indoor cats and I wanted a carpet that would minimize the results of an occasional upset stomach and cat hair and would hold up under occasional claw exercise. Julie immediately provided me with the appropriate products to use to spot clean and suggested a particular carpet color and texture that would meet my needs. She has been proven to be right on target. Installation was done promptly and well done. I was still on the computer when they arrived so they simply started at the other end of the house. By the time I was done and on my way to work, they were well on their way to finishing removal of the old carpet. At my request, they called when finished so I could come home to look over the work before final payment. The clean-up was very thorough which was important to me so my cats didn't find interesting but potential dangerous tidbits to consume. Since I had just two days before had the entire home interior repainted, I was concerned about possible damage to the walls and baseboard, some of which I knew would be unavoidable. When the painter returned the next day to do any needed touchups, we found very minimal damage, to my delight. I would definitely recommend this company for any carpeting needs.

Went to Blakely's to look at hard word flooring. Sales rep seemed to give the correct amount of attention and "alone time" to look at the product. Blakely's has some very nice but expensive hardwoods. Many of the less expensive products looked "cheap". Proposal was the highest of four we received and we weren't very excited about the product offered in our price range. The proposal included a $150 delivery fee to bring the wood to our house three days early to "acclimate" to our home - what? We did not get the chance to charge Blakely's a storage fee.

The entire experience was as pleasant as possible. Dimensions of each room were mapped on a computer for accurate estimates of materials needed. We waited for a sale, and saved several dollars per square foot on the solid hardwood floors and substantial dollars on some area rugs. The materials were delivered several days in advance of installation to acclimate to our interior environment, and the installers were as good as any I've ever seen. Very professional and helpful with tips for floor care. This is a great local group for floor treatments, and I would use them again without any reservations.

They were very helpful. I've worked with them now for years. They have a good selection and very nice people that work there.

Very pleased with the overall experience. Worked with Donna throughout the process who was very helpful and accommodating. Never felt any pressure to buy anything, and she helped us find a carpet that would last us for the amount of time we would be in our home, rather than trying to sell us more than we needed. We bought our carpet between sales and so she figured out the cost of the carpet with the summer sale that had just ended and the fall sale that was coming up and gave us the better price. Gave us an 8 lb carpet pad for no extra cost when a 6 lb pad was what normally came with our carpet. Sent me paperwork after the sale had already been made for me to get a 10 year warranty that was being offered at no extra cost, when originally a 5 year warranty came with the carpet. The carpet installers were friendly and efficient. The only reason I gave a B for professionalism was because the installers left several razor blades throughout the house between the 1st and 2nd days of installation, which was a bit hazardous considering I have a 1 year old.

I am pleased with the carpeting and the sales and installation services provided. The salesperson was helpful, and patient, while I tried to make up my mind as to which carpet I wanted. Once a decision was made, the salesperson explained the options for laying the carpet and where the seams would be, and the impact to the overall price. The installers were professional and worked quickly to install the carpet. They moved all furniture at no extra cost.

I think it was our best experience in a carpet store. They showed us everything that they would do when we went over there. They tried to save has much carpet as they could.
