Bill and David came the same day we called to repair the shed and roof shingles which was great because it was supposed to rain/snow that night. They did a great job as always. The job is always done right and we are very happy with their work.

Fantastic! When Bill Greenwood called me Tuesday, it was to tell me that he'd been out to my house and not only replaced the blown-off shingles, but he'd noticed that the sewer boots (rubber around the vent pipes) needed to be replaced and he'd gone ahead and replace them. I never get on my roof because it's too steep and I would have never discovered this until the roof started leaking. That's service above and beyond the call of duty! I've recommended him to my neighbors who have been also very satisfied.

I called during the wind storm because neighbors had noticed the loose shingles flapping around and to get on Bill's list of customers who I knew would need his services. He promised to come out the next day, which he did and the roof looked great from the ground. The day after he'd come out, I noticed one more shingle had come loose (he'd checked the rest of the roof but there is a lot of area to cover) and I called him back. He came out that same day (within the hour) and fixed that one for no new charge A week later, the same thing happened and, again, he came right out for no charge. I don't expect him to continue to repair our roof for no charge, but it was great that he stood behind his work so well and so quickly.

I noticed a shingle had come off our roof due to high winds. I called to have the repair made. He was there the next morning and repaired the one shingle I knew about. When he was on the roof, he discovered a couple other shingles were missing. He found one in the gutter and another on the ground. He took care of repairing those while he was at our home. He left a bill for us, which I gladly paid due to the prompt, thorough service.

After reviewing options on Angie's List we made several calls for estimates. Bill promptly returned our call, came out the same day for the estimate and made the repairs the following day. He even cleaned the storm debris from the gutter while on the roof. Other companies did not return our calls within 24 hours and some did not even show for appointments.

Overall great experience and roof is repaired with no leaks.

During a heavy evening rain on Dec. 23, we discovered water leaking into our fireplace and a faint damp spot on the ceiling. The next morning, we found Bill on Angie's List (because we were not happy with previous service from the company that had installed the roof) and he came that day to look at the problem. He determined that some shingles had been installed incorrectly at the chimney flashing and water running under them might be the cause of the leak. He also found a problem with shingles at the edge of a skylight. He and his son made the repairs on Dec. 26. We were very appreciative of his quick response during the holiday week. He did further work on the chimney, which is reported under that category.

The metal top covering of our chimney had deteriorated after 20 years to the point that water was leaking into our fireplace. Bill took digital photos to show us the situation and covered the chimney top to prevent further leaks while the new top was being made. He installed the new cover while we were away from home and emailed us photos of each phase of installation. The entire job, including having the metal top fabricated, was done in about a week. Bill is very prompt and thorough and easy to work with. We will certainly use him again.

Took a couple of phone calls to get it reviewed and quoted for. Bill also reviewed the rest of the roof and we took the opportunity to get some other minor repairs done at a reasonable cost. Had a bit of trouble setting up a time to do the work, but on the agreed day, Bill completed the work promptly and neatly.

When he came to give me an estimate, it was within an hour of me calling him. It was also on a Saturday, so the promptness was the best part of my experience.

He figured out and repaired a problem that a large roofing company could not and it was for only one hundred bucks. On another he cleaned the gutters, removing leaf guards, which takes more work, add a spike, a farrow and repositioned lose spikes. He also repaired damaged shingles, caulked chimney, added counter flashing and installed an new sewer boot all for $225.

I called them and he said he would come out the same day to do the job. It was done in less than eight hours. When I came home it was done and there was no sign of him being there.

Bill was the first contractor to show up. He didn't find anything wrong with the flashing. I explained more precisely where I thought water was getting in. He looked and found an improperly installed shingle that he said was very likely the problem. He said he could repair it on the spot as well as another developing problem on another chimney. Total cost: $150. It worked!

He was there the next day. Arrived by 8:00 just like he said. Made repairs and charged exactly what he said he would.

I wasn't home when they came out but my wife told me that they came out quickly and looked it over. They fixed the leak on the same day. Everything went fine.

He was very easy to work with. He did what we asked him to do. He showed up very quickly. He got the work done right the first time so he didn't have to come back and redo it at all.

Great. Bill is an experienced and hard worker who definitely understands roofing and gives you more work than you pay for.

Bill and his son performed the job themselves. Did a very nice job. Cleaned up after they were done.

Called Bill about 5 shingles blown off by high winds. He asked when he could meet me there, and he and his son were on the spot at 7:00 the next morning as requested. They were done in a half hour, and the charges were a whopping $135, I expected around $200. Great guy, and I'll make sure his number is in my list next time, there's no roofer in the area I'd use except Bill.

He was very quick and friendly as always. I have hired him for a few jobs and will continue to hire him as he always does great work.

He called ahead to schedule an appointment and showed up when he said he would. He climbed all over my roof and gave it a thorough inspection. Told me that I did not need a new roof but only some repairs (roof is 15 years old - 30 year guaranteed roof). Moreover, he said that most of my leaks were from window issues, not the roof. He called the following day with a quotation for the work. I agreed and he said he would call later in the week to schedule a time to perform the work. He called the Thursday before to tell me he was coming out the following Monday and he showed up promptly in the morning. He was finished within 4 hours and explained all the repairs he made. He did repair some roof areas with cracked/missing shingles and resecured boots around roof vents as well as caulking problem areas where appicable. I was especailly grateful that he also referred me to a company who repairs and replaces windows (also on Angie's List). They also came out promptly and are currently working up an estimate for my windows. Mr. Greenwood also spoke with the window company to give them further insight into what my window problems were so that they could better quote the necessary work.

It went very well. He re-caulked and sealed the needed areas of our chimney. He repaired the top part of the chimney covering. There have been no leaks as far as I know. I appreciate his workmanship he demonstrated. I would use him again for any masonry jobs that arise with an old house.

Overall it went well. The chimney looks great. My only complaint is that they came and did the work and did not call beforehand. I would have liked to have been there to reconfirm what we wanted to have done.
