He is very, very nice. He was very responsive in his phone call. The owner and his son run the business. He came prepared, very neat, very clean. He was such a gentleman. It was a very nice experience. I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent. Bill is friendly and knows his stuff. He and his son came out in November 2007 and went straight to work. In addition to the roof, we asked him to look at one of our downspouts that was blocked. They found a tennis ball stuck inside. We also asked if he would change our yard floodlights while they were at it (You need a very tall ladder to get to them and we don't have one). No problem. Anyway, it's five months later and the leak has not returned. We've had Bill out again earlier this year to repair a spot where squirrels were getting in our attic. He did a great job once again. I highly recommend Bill to anyone.

We had water damage in the house and the roof was suspect. I was pleased Mr. Greenwood returned my call on the same day and then came out to do the work the following week. I explained the problem to him and he said he would take a look. Worried that it would come back as a roof replacement, I was glad when he said it would be minor repairs and could do it that same day. He even suggested to me that I needed to contact a chimney contractor to have further work done. The information was helpful since I would not have known that might be another source of the problem.

I am extremely satisfied overall. I called at 7:30PM after discovering the roof damage, and Mr. Greenwood answered the phone. He said he would stop by the next day to estimate the repair. He stopped by as promised and repaired the damage. Based on my experience I certainly recommend this company for roof repairs.

We had a small stain in living room ceiling and determined it was roof related. Bill corrected the flashing on the roof and replaced rotted wood that was near the stain. He told us that several vents were not centered and he came out to correct. Other areas needed corrected as well. Bill is always responsive and came out as soon as weather permitted. He is professional and reasonably priced.

Work was done promptly and inexpensively. Bill works primarily alone and doesn't have a lot of overhead. No slick brochures, no extensive advertising. Just good, honest work.

Bill is a great guy to work with and he really knows roofing. He is completely interested in doing the best for the customer at the best price. He is reliable and available. He will fix your problem and the lowest possible cost. He will tell you if there are things that you should be watching or things that don't really need fixing. I am really glad that I found Bill since I don't have the best roof in town!

Very honest. Professional. Came right away and was prompt.

Easy to do business with, and very prompt service. I phoned for an estimate in the morning, and he visited my home a few hours later and called me at work with the estimate. After verifying the correct address, I authorized the work, and he proceeded, leaving the invoice in my door at my request. As a bonus, I asked that he secure a loose 2nd story soffitt vent as long as he was on the roof, and he did so at no extra charge. In addition, he inspected the rest of the roof and chimney and provided recommendations and an estimate for replacing a deteriorating chimney cap. Will be taking him up on that soon.

He was prompt, professional, and hard working. He usually gets all the work done in one day.

We called him on a Monday morning, left a message. He returned the call that evening and came the next morning to give an estimate. He found the leak, gave us a price which we accepted and he fixed it the same morning. He was very polite and prompt in performing his work.

Most of my neighbors were having roofs replaced, and I feared I was next, since all homes are the same age. Bill investigated and discovered one piece of underlay that was incorrectly installed, said I did not need a new roof and fixed the problem. He also observed a crevice next to gutter at edge of house where birds had nested and fixed that also. I've used him before and both times have felt he was honest, price was fair, and work was good.

Bill Greenwood was very professional and personable. However, he provided his price estimate over the phone and never followed up with a proposal in writing. He may do very good work, but compared to the other companies we considered, this just did not inspire our confidence.

Metal piece running the length of the roof was coming off at one end. Bill and his son replaced that damaged portion AND found another spot that needed a small amount of repair. He fixed both all for $20 less than the original estimate.

We had two other roofing contractors come to give us an estimate to fix an area of our roof that was leaking (water was coming through to the ceiling in our living room). Neither of them were able to determine where the leak was occurring. They were honest and polite, but our roof wasn't fixed. When I called the phone number for Bill Greenwood given by Angie's List I reached Bill's wife. She gave me his cell phone number. I reached him at that number and later that same afternoon he came to the house to inspect the roof. Within fifteen minutes Bill had inspected the roof and found the problem. He said he had the time to repair it then. He did the repair work in approximately one hour. Bill was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job. We will definitely call him for any future roof repairs we need.

Bill and his son fixed the area and worked on another area just to be safe. So far no problem since he did the work. I had a good reference on him before the work.
