Susan was great at helping me select the carpet & linoleum. James and his crew did a wonderful job installing the carpet & linoleum. I would highly recommend Big Dog Flooring.

Recommended laying floor over existing floor. Convinced me to do so. When they laid the floor they put quarter round along the wood work. The stain barely matches and worst of all they used cheap wood that did not match my kitchen which is entirely oak. The carpentry was amateurish, not much better than doing it myself. When I paid the balance due (50%) in person and spoke with the manager I complained but they acted entirely nonchalant and unconcerned. I plan to have the living and great rooms of the house re-carpeted and they will not be getting the business which is a shame because they are a local business that had previously did a good job carpeting the bedrooms. Only plus was that the installers were polite and did a good job laying the vinyl but obviously were not carpenters.

It was a great experience. Everything was completed in 4 days! We went in to pick the flooring and they came out the next day to give us an estimate. We were lucky the flooring we wanted was in stock therefore we were able to get it installed the next 2 days, while my husband was off work.

Service and process was great from the moment I walked in the showroom. In Store staff was extremely helpful in helping me decide materials, color etc within my budget. Chip the owner did the measurement, and I had the estimate within a day. Installers were prompt, precise, friendly and cleaned up. I even got a lesson in how to clean my new floors correctly. Communication throughout the install was good. An investment of this type can be intimidating. When shopping for flooring, couple things i considered. A: Big dog flooring uses their own installers, This was evident to me during my project since the tile installers and wood installers worked very well together. Knowing who is doing the install, and their experience was very important to me. B: Pricing can vary a lot. Before choosing on price alone, give big dog flooring a chance compete. If it's an apples to apples comparison(same materials, padding etc) , and they can compete, they will. C: Locally owned companies have to fight for every dollar vs big box stores. In general, they will work very hard to make the customer happy. I would definitely recommend big dog flooring for any carpet, tile, hardwood purchase. I'm glad I made the decisions I did. I have a beautiful new floor and added value to my home. Thanks big dog flooring! Job well done!

Everyone at the business was friendly and professional. The carpet was installed just a couple of weeks after I had picked it out. They did a great job and the carpet looks great.

Chip, his wife, and their big dog were all extremely courteous and helpful from the start. They were not pushy and did not try to "sell" us on anything. We told them what we wanted and they helped us get there. It seems simple enough but all of the other places we looked at charged for measurement estimates and even charged for the flooring sample to take home. Big Dog does a free measuring estimate and gives you several samples to take home for free. Chip, the owner, himself came out to measure the house. My kids are young and followed him everywhere and he treated them like they were friends which was very nice. After discussing what all we wanted done and a comfortable price we had workers at our house the following week. We could have had them the next day. The carpet was done in a few hours and looks fantastic. The flooring took 2 full days and looks great. I had to pull the refrigerator out to hook up the water line and even behind the fridge looks as good as the rest of the house. They guarantee that they will undercut any estimate by 5% so there is no possible way that you could get a better deal. I highly recommend Big Dog Flooring and we will be using them again in the future.

Came out to my house to start estimate- on up side of this guy was nice and professional and on time- down side they did not bring products to my home you had to go in store to pick products. company I went with asked what I was looking to do and brought samples to my home and this was a MASSIVE help and convenience. Second , this company almost seemed un interested in my business. It took multiple calls to get them to give me an estimate on the job after going in store to pick out product. ( the company I went with literally gave me an estimate when they came out and measured) Also when I received my estimate it was quite high- it was more than a thousand higher than the company I ended up going with ( whos work and products was exceptional) In conclusion I did not end up going with Big Dog Flooring I would look elsewhere. I am not sure if I am allowed to list and brag about who I went with on here but there is another place in Greenwood that is exceptional - find them on Angies list.

The installer was timely and a great job on a small bedroom.

They were very professional, the prices were good (they gave me a discount for being a member), and I was very pleased with the job they did.

I closed on a home several months ago and noted that the flooring needed a replacement. I called several flooring companies and received a bid. Big Dog Flooring provided the most competitive quote and had the most prompt response. I emphasized how important it was to get the work done on time due to the nature of my work and they showed up on time, ready to work. I showed up to the store a few times to drop off my payment and they all remembered my name, even though I really didn't expect them to do so. They have been very helpful from day 1 and I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

This is the 2nd time I have used Big Dog for flooring, after doing MUCH price research I found Big Dog to offer the best value and Chip and his team made it easy. After purchase, they were able to install 4 days later which I found impressive. Very happy with the quality of our Shaw carpet...so glad we got it done!

The purchasing experience was good because the sales rep explained the differences in the different kinds of carpeting/padding. She showed us the different samples and explained them to us. She also encouraged us to take home as many samples as we would like so we could see them in the lighting in our home. Chip came out and took measurements, then called us that afternoon with the price estimate. We think they are on the high side, but they have a quality product and an efficient team of installers. Also, the installers take care of moving all large pieces of furniture for you, which is a huge plus! They dissembled our bed and couches, then moved them into other rooms. The installers were right on time and went right to work. They know their business well, and they finished right at the time they had estimated, which was 5:30 pm. They arrived at 9:30 am. We are very happy with the quality of the carpet/padding and the job that they did installing it. We will definitely use them again when we replace carpet in 3 bedrooms.

The process was very professional from estimating through installation. They arrived as scheduled. The work was completed within one day. I have used Big Dog flooring in the past and have never been disappointed. They are extremely helpful during the product selection phase. The installation went smoothly. As they were matching a floor installed almost three years ago, they did an excellent job of blending the materials. Cleanup was thorough and all furniture was moved back into place.

They tore up my effected area and then told me I would have to bring someone else from the company to complete the job. They suggested I actually sub contract with a different company. They redirected me which I did not appreciate. It was also pretty pricey for them to install the flooring and complete the job. The technicians were skilled and friendly. Their follow up was inconsistent, however. I had no problem getting in touch with them and scheduling them out was not an issue.

I work with Chip on the sales part of the work. They aren’t hard sale people, they just make life easier. He’s worthy of a good mention and I’ve recently called him out to my home that is more than 7,000 sq ft for things that need to be changed out. I expect everything to go according to plan.

Excellent! This is the second time I have used them for 2 different houses and was very pleased. I chose in stock materials because I was on a timeline, and the person who measured was able to come withing 3 days, installation was finished 2 days after that. I would definitely use the again.
