Description of Work: The company sent me an instructional packet on how to measure my table which I completed and returned. Within 5 weeks I received a perfect set of table pads for my dining room table and leaves. The pads are thick and well made. The company performed flawlessly. I highly recommend Berger's Table Pad Company.

Description of Work: I ordered the $199 special last December. Through a series of miscommunications (most of which were my fault) we really didn't get going on this 'til after the first of the year. Then someone left at Berger's and my order was misplaced. After the error was realized, they couldn't have been nicer about seeing that my order was expedited. Within less than 2 weeks, I had my beautiful table pads and I LOVE THEM!! The quality is excellent - much more than I had expected - and the magnetic join when laid out on the table is a GREAT feature. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

Description of Work: They made a custom fit table pad that fit my six to ten person dining table. It fit my table perfectly. I was concerned about not having someone come out personally and measure my table, but their directions were so easy to follow. I would not hesitate to order from them again. Very nice and sturdy product.

Description of Work: I used a Big Deal Angie's List coupon to order a table pad for my dining room table. They were quite prompt in sensing me the measuring/tracing kit but I wasn't prompt in getting them the info back. They did check in and I told them I would get the info back and, eventually, I measured the table and traced it on their tracing paper and sent the whole package back to them. | |There was some up-sell in trying to get me to buy covers for the leaf pads but it wasn't bad. Just as I was wondering how it was going, I got a call from them asking a few questions; I gave my answers and they said it would be cut the next day and then ship out. | |Again, just as I was wondering what was up, I got a call telling me that the person who had talked to me had left and my order was sitting in his drawer! However, the new person was quite nice and asked me about the corners of the table; I went home and measured them again and responded and, after a few weeks, the pads arrived! | |They are topped with vinyl which does smell for a while so I had to air them out for quite some time but they are on the table now and look quite nice. Since I have a trestle table with leaves at the ends, they made the pad to be split in the middle which was the right choice and works well. | |So despite the fact it took months to get the pad, some of that was my fault and I'm happy with what (eventually) happened. |

Description of Work: Bought this deal 1/7/15. Got their template package in the mail the following week. Sent it back 2 days later and they had a problem with how I had followed their instructions to outline my table on the paper. They resent more paper and I followed their new instructions EXACTLY then mailed it back. I heard nothing for three weeks so I tried to contact them and had a REALLY HARD TIME getting anyone to return my calls. When they finally did I was told they had my pattern and it would be done in two weeks. It has been 12 weeks and no word, no package, no contact from the company. |If your table is not a standard square they seem to have trouble- be ware!

Description of Work: Produced a custom table top protection pad for my dining room table. They gave instructions on creating a template and everything was done through the mail. The fit is spot on.

We did not include them in our order (with explanation) |and they had us reaffirm our not desiring the covers. I appreciated their |concern and their second note. Description of Work: We purchased one of Angie's big deals. Berger's let us know right away that they were sending a kit out that would allow us to measure our table accurately. The materials arrived a couple of days later and the instructions were very clear. We sent the form back and received our pad well within the time specified by Berger's. The pad fits exactly. The woodgrain surface looks a little cheaper than we had hoped, on the other hand, our expectations may have been too high. The green felt reverse side looks great though. The woodgrain also has some indentations and that is why we have given a B rating instead of an A. It may have been a packing issue or the marks may ultimately go away. In any case, they were not enough for us to contact the company for adjustment. And we expect the grandkids will be adding their own marks to the cover soon. We would buy from Berger's again.

Description of Work: Manufactured a table pad for our kitchen table. Impressed with overall quality of the table pad, as well as the magnetic ends which keep the pieces together. Only difficulty is trying to match the colors from the brochure and online to the best match for our table. Our selection ended up being a "close" but not identical match.
