Berger's Table Pad Factory

The packet they sent me to gather information was very easy to understand and complete. I purchased the big deal in July and just received my pad the other day. They originally said 6-8 from sending in packet so I felt they followed through on this time frame.

They paid attention to detail. they were fine. the built it and I just got is yesterday I have not opened box yet.

I was very pleased with this whole experience from my first call to receipt of table pads. Communication was excellent. I received the tracing kit in just a few days with great instructions. Kit came with brochure showing color choices. I made a slight mistake and Sheri caught it and emailed me immediately. When I received the pads I was more than happy. The color, quality and the magnetic connections were beautiful (better than the originals). I definitely recommend Berger's Table Pads.

Provider was very quick to send ordering materials. Materials were easy to use. We measured our table and chose the materials and colors, and sent the order in. Because these were custom fabricated, there was a bit of a delay but nothing unreasonable. The new pads fit our table perfectly and we are very happy with them. We would deal with this company again and would recommend them to our friends.

We just received the second set (more about that in a minute) yesterday and they are a thing of beauty. Our dining room table is very unusual in that it converts from a pretty standard round to an ellipse. After just a couple minutes of discussion with Jackie Smith at Berger's, she volunteered that it would be easier for both them and us if they just made two complete sets of pads, rather than the traditional add-ons to accommodate the expanded table. Back to the question of why two sets - when the first set arrived, I unpacked them and checked the fit and finish of the product with both the round and elliptical table set-ups. Beautiful. They were beautiful and fit like a glove. I left them in our dining room for my wife to look at. When she arrived, she admired the pads, but we both noticed a distinct smell in the room - not a pleasant smell. After airing the pads out and disposing of the packing materials, which we thought might be the problem, we discovered that it was the pads themselves. I emailed Berger's of the problem and got a call from Jackie about ten minutes later. To cut to the chase - they had discovered that when subjected to intense heat (the back of a truck in mid-summer for example) it caused one of the materials to react and give of a distinctly unpleasant odor. Jackie told me that, of the hundreds of orders they fulfill, the problem had only occurred a few times, mostly in hot parts of the country. Pleased with her forthrightness, I volunteered to try a few tests of my own to see if I could get rid of the odor. While she thanked me, she said the best thing would be for them to replace the pads (at no cost to me) and for me to destroy the first set. So, while they got dinged for not getting it perfect the first time, they get major applause for addressing the problem head on and doing what's right. On top of which, they are a pleasure to deal with. Next time we need table pads, we will look no further than Berger's.

Things went very well. I purchased the deal, and was contacted quickly by Jackie, who sent me the packet for ordering my new table pad. I did not return it terribly quickly, so I am the reason this order has only just been fulfilled today. I eventually completed the packet and sent it back. Jackie called a couple of weeks ago to double-check the measurements, as they are not usually even inches. I assured her that they were (but remeasured, all the same), and the table pad was delivered today. It fits PERFECTLY. It is a little thicker than I imagined, which is a good thing since it is there to protect the table. It seems very durable, and the magnets holding it together are reasonably strong. I went with the walnut-look vinyl for the top, since it's a walnut table, and it looks really nice, even without a table cloth on it. Overall, I am very pleased with the table pad and I feel I got a fantastic value for the money I paid for this deal ($199 for the table pad for a 48" round table AND all three 16" leaves - all together, 8 feet long and 4 feet wide). I also researched other table pad companies before purchasing this deal, and Berger's had the best quality for the most reasonable price of anyone else I could find. Given the quality of the table pad, I think I would probably still feel this way even if I had had to pay regular price for it. This table pad should easily last for the life of the table, even with daily use. I'm glad I bought it. :-) Not only that, I like that Berger's is a local business, and Jackie represented them very well and was very nice and professional. I would recommend them to anyone who would like any kind of protective pad for any piece of furniture! :-)

Everything turned out very well. Once we traced out the table and chose the appropriate material, the company got right to work. The table pad arrived on schedule, and it fits perfectly too.

I sent them the measurements and they called me to confirm the measurements. I appreciated them calling and confirming the size because configuring the size on those can be tricky. When it arrived, it fit was perfectly!

Template directions get sent thru snail-mail, you mark up the template and provide dimensions. Send off in pre-paid mailer and wait about 3 weeks to receive the pads. The pads are thick and nicely crafted. They fit perfectly and are a great replacement for the 60-year old ones that needed to go. My only complaint is that the "textured wood" finish looks incredibly fake and plasticy. I would prefer a felt, leather, or some other option that didn't look so cheap.

I purchased the deal a long time before my new dining room table was delivered to me. Berger allowed me to delay the delivery of the table pad because I had to wait until my new table was delivered before I could determine the exact shape of the pad. I also had to order a rush delivery because I needed the pad prior to a holiday dinner.

This worked GREAT!!! We had pads that were about 20 years old and had all kinds of dents and dings from lots of use, art projects where the hot glue got stuck to the top, etc. For $199 we were able to get great pads with magnetic interlocking features as well. The instructions on how to measure your table were easy to follow, the information that was sent had everything we needed, and they arrived in no time. The quality and look of the pads is outstanding, I'm very pleased! No art projects for these new ones, that's for sure!

They were great! We received the packet in the mail, made our choices and listed dimensions and sent it back in. They even called to verify dimensions. We are very happy with the product!

The Table Pad Factory first mailed an envelope containing instructions with a pattern and color choices. I had to outline my table on the pattern provided, since my table wasn't exactly rectangular, and measure the length and width of the table and the leaves. I mailed it back to Berger's along with my color choices and a few weeks later received my table pad. It fits perfectly!

I have received the mailing form from them. The pads have not gotten here yet though. They have been very nice though in regards to their communication through email.

Very satisfied with the results. Table pad looks nice, fits perfect, and is well constructed. The magnetic locks keep all the sections together nicely.

It was great, and Berger provided exceptional service. They were friendly and professional, had a quality product, and were proactive in addressing potential discrepancies with our table's measurements.

The big deal turned out fairly good. It took me a while to get the templates in, and once I got the templates in, it took them a long while to produce them, but they turned out well. I bought additional stuff, so I paid an additional price. It met my expectations, so it was a good product.

We provided Berger's Table Pad Factory with a tracing of our dining room table. The table has oval-shaped ends. We received a pad with square ends instead. We cannot use the pad on our table because the fit on the ends is off by 6" - 8".

We ordered and we received the order within the timeframe promised.

We took the measurements and they made them and sent them for one price. We are very pleased with the protection the pads provide as the table is special to us.
