Berger's Table Pad Factory

It was great. They just made it easy to get it done. My interaction with them was very good. It looks very tough. It works out so far. I paid for extra $30 for quick service but that was my choice. It was all done by mail. They don't physically come to the house.

I was very concerned that I was not measuring correctly since my table had cut off corners! I emailed Berger's and received an email from them with "encouragement"! I followed the directions and made a pattern with the paper provided. My worries were not warranted. They did an awesome Job.

It was a Big Deal purchase. They did not come out. I had to do it myself. The deal said that they would come out but they do not come out. There was no additional charge. It was fine except that I thought that the deal said that they would come out. I do not know if I read it wrong but they do not come out. I had to send the measurements and the pattern. They do not give enough patterns. I had to do my own table and use my own paper. They sent it back to me in a fairly timely manner. If clients were to make their own pattern, they must be sure to have enough paper. Everything else was fine. When I finally did the measurements, it was sent back to me fairly quickly. They sent papers for the pattern but it was not enough. The cost was actually higher than I expected.

Berger's was very reponsive with sending a kit to mail back with the table dimensions. The kit was very complete so that you could provide dimenesions for various shaped tables via a stencil if necessary . Ours is a rectangular table with two large (2foot) leafs so the measuring was rather easy. I actually just measured the 30 year old pads that fit just fine but were exhausted. Berger's called prior to manufacturing the pads to double check the dimensions and we received the product a short time later. Very pleased with the experience.

I purchased the deal on November 28, 2014, and heard a response from the company December 1. I received the paper for patterns, and directions for measuring the table top shortly thereafter. With various things going on during December, I finished measuring the table top, including leaves, and returned the information to the company a few days before Christmas. I also enclosed a check in the amount of $25 to cover two table leaf covers, not included in the Angie's List Deal. The covers were, however, discounted for Angie's List members. During this whole process, I communicated with the company both by email and by phone to clarify such things as how to measure the table top. They were quite responsive to both my emails and my call. I knew that it would take up to 4-6 weeks to receive the pads. I was pleased to receive the pads in three weeks. The pads and covers arrived yesterday (January 13, 2015). I put the pads on the table top and they fit perfectly. I also was able to put the two leaves that were not in the table, into the covers, and to fit the pads for those two leaves in the pads along with the leaves.

Everything went fine. I was very very happy with them.

They were super and their product was great.

It went great. They told us it would take six weeks to get and we got it 2 days ago which was 6 weeks. It was more expensive then we thought. It looks good.

We placed an order on Oct. 7, 2014 were told it would be 3-5 weeks. On Oct. 10 we were contacted with a question regarding style of the table, the rep Joshua stated " I will have them start production for you as soon as I hear back from you which style you have" and we responded the same day. On Nov. 26 having heard nothing, e-mailed Joshua for an update, no response. Called him, got voicemail and no answer. Spoke to a customer service rep who was very nice, but didn't do anything but refer the call to Joshua - who didn't answer. On Dec. 10 e-mailed and called Joshua - no response. Talked to another CS rep who said Joshua had been out sick, but she looked into the order and said it was "in production" and she would call back with more details - no callback. On January 10, left an online e-mail message for Customer Service and a rep did call back. He said Joshua had been out sick and they were trying to decipher his notes. He also stated the material for the top had been out of stock and delayed the order, but no one had informed us of that information. We were again told the items were "in production" and we could expect them by January 22. After further discussion at home, we decided we had no faith in the company and called back to cancel. Spoke to the same CS rep who said he had placed the items into production - so apparently prior information we were given regarding production was inaccurate. We went ahead and cancelled the order anyway. Not too hopeful that something this company does for us will go smoothly, but are now waiting for the refund. We rated "professionalism" D since everyone we spoke to was very nice, but they didn't get the job done! If Joshua was indeed ill, that could be understandable but no one else stood up to take ownership and make sure our order was taken care of. Update: We did receive the refund, the sales manager responded with a reduced price offer. We said we'd be back in touch when the refund was received. We contacted him by phone and e-mail with no further response. Update: Someone called, a "scheduling" call and had no idea we had cancelled the order. A couple of weeks later, the original rep called and said the delay was because I had not responded regarding something - I have no record of any outstanding requests and even if there were why didn't he contact us after months (or return our many efforts to contact him) and let us know? As "Amy" on December 13 told me the order was in production, if they were waiting for information how could it be in production?

I had been looking for this for a long time and it is exactly what I wanted. The size is perfect and it looks great. I am VERY pleased with this company and its product.

The pads were quickly made and have worked out beautifully...I wish I had purchased the years ago. It was a "deal" so we got a great price.

It went great. The product is high quality and came when it was expected.

Since I was having a set of table pads made, I also added a buffet pad. These pads have a magnet which keeps the pads from separating while on the table is terrific. The cost for all these pads was reasonable and their service and pads were excellent. I even asked for the pads to be delivered in less than two weeks because I was having a party and they delivered in a week and a half. I would use again and recommend to family and friends.

I ordered a coupon on Angie's List. Berger's sent a a package with samples and a large sheet of paper to outline the shape of one end of the table. The packet also included a form to list the size of each of the leaves. Directions were simple to follow and color choices were very good. We received the pads within the specified time and they fit our oval table very nicely. The built in magnates hold the sections together without any hassle.

Great table pads at a great price.

It went well and there were no issues. They were average, but it was a great deal. They got back to me when they said they would, it wasn't a really quick process but they did contact me within the time frame they said they would. I did call them because I had a few questions and while they did answer the questions I asked they weren't incredibly helpful. It was a good price for a good product.

Jackie was great to work with. She responded to all my emails and questions promptly. The product is also great. I had one small problem with the magnet, but she explained how I might not be putting it together correctly. I still have not tested it out yet, but trust that if it does not work she will come up with a solution.

Great excellent easy instructions.

The service worked out great. I got it in time for my Thank’s Giving dinner and it sit perfect. What they do is they send you a pattern and you have to draw the outline on it and send it back to them. So, the turn-around time between the time I sent them the pattern and got it back was I think maybe two weeks. It was fine. I expected about that much time for it to finish. So, they did a good job. It is a table pad that you have to draw a pattern on the exact table that you want and they provide you with a table pad with a leaf section that kind of thing. Then, I purchased the holder for it, the bag to put it in storage when I am not using it. The quality was great and it turned out fine. It fits perfectly. There was an additional cost for the optional holder, the bag to put it in when you have it in storage, but that was reasonable. That was like $15. It was not bad at all. So, I was really happy with it. I think the price was about what it was when I checked it out to do it through another provider a few years ago. It is not an inexpensive thing to do, but I am thinking of the investment on my table. So, I am willing to pay a couple of hundred bucks more to protect that investment because I have had the table refinished in the past and I wanted to preserve it. I think it was a fair price. I wish it was cheaper, but for what I need it for, it was a fair price. Their punctuality was what I expected. It did not take longer than what I expected it to take. I would use them again in the future if I needed to. Hopefully, I expect it to last a lifetime. I would recommend it to somebody else.

The pads are beautiful. The color samples are accurate. From start to finish, all of the personnel that I spoke with were very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely use them again.

This transaction went exactly as anticipated. The pads were of the highest quality and fit the round 48" table to a tee. The process of measuring and ordering could not have been easier and there were not hitches . We would order again should the need arise.

My experience with them was good. The price went over the $199 Big Deal purchase price because I added some things on. It is high quality. What stood out was their customer service.

I received the information packet from Berger's within a few days. Measured my table and leaves, picked the colors, and mailed it back to them. Had my brand new table pads in about 3 weeks. Very happy with the quality.

No problems. Measuring pkg arrived within days of purchase. I followed their directions and mailed it back to them. I received the pad(s) in the mail about 5-6 weeks later. They fit well and will save my table top.
