Description of Work: I hesitated about being accurate in my measurements even after I had given them the model and maker number. But after a very quick and responsive email, I was convinced that my measurements would be accurate. It turned out perfect! I also purchased placemats as well. A great product.

Description of Work: Only down side to experience was the packing. The box was battered to the point of partially opened when it arrived, luckily no damage to the pad. Packing could have been better.

Description of Work: Berger's provided padded table covers. I bought the special and called them because of my table arrangement. The person I contacted offered me what I consider to be a fair and generous solution. I have no problem recommending them!

Description of Work: Sold discounted table pad thru Angie's List. Process required preparation/submission of a table pattern and order form subsequent to discount purchase. Order form indicated processing would take 3-5 weeks from submission of order. Dec 22 (six weeks after mailing order paperwork) contacted company to see if it had shipped yet (since intent had been that it would be a Christmas gift for my wife). Response stated they did not log receipt of the order until 12 days after I mailed it (I know the postal service is slow, but 12 days to go half-way across US - really? - wonder how long it sat in their in-box before anyone bothered to open the envelop and log it in), as such they had only had the order for 4 weeks but it would be ready in the next few days. Next day received notice from the shipping company indicating they had picked up the order and it would arrive in a few days (wonder how many days it had been sitting waiting for shipping before my query prompted someone to get it shipped). Finished product was great - just as sales material described. Unfortunately, delivery 6-1/2 weeks after order submission, rather than the 3-5 weeks purported, meant it became a January birthday gift, and I was left to do some last minute scrambling for a replacement Christmas gift. (You'll never convince me that it took the postal service 12 days to deliver my order, or that it just happened to be finished the same day I inquired as to when it would be ready. Thus the less than stellar ratings.)

Description of Work: We purchased a table pad for our dining room table from Berger's. They sent us a kit with very clear instructions as to how to make a pattern of the table and promised delivery in 6 weeks. The cost was 1/2 that of other firms for the same product. As promised, Berger's delivered on-time and we love the quality of the product. I emailed the company once during this time with a question and got an answer immediately. We are very satisfied and would recommend this firm in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: They made table pads for my dining table and coffee table. It took longer than advertised and the coffee table pad was the wrong shape when it first arrived. They did replace it with the right shape.

Description of Work: After I purchased the custom table pad deal, Berger's Table Pad Factory promptly mailed out the information packet so I could make a tracing of my dining room table. I... pretty much ignored it for a few weeks until I had the time to make the tracing. The information packet warned me that it would take some weeks before the table pad would be completed. The packet also contained additional offers, so I decided to buy an additional custom cut pad for my sideboard and two leaf protector bags (for the table leaves). When the table pad and sideboard pad arrived, the table pad was a good fit for the table, but the sideboard pad was miscut in two different ways that made it impossible to use. When I contacted Berger's about the issue, my email was not promptly returned and subsequent communication was strained. I was told the replacement would arrive in 2-4 weeks, and it arrived in a little more than 4 weeks, which - while accurate to their estimate - was disappointing, as I had already been waiting months for the pad. Ultimately, Berger's was able to recut the sideboard pad and it arrived satisfactorily. The table pads are high quality and the many finish options allowed me to get pads that are a remarkably good match to the wood of my furniture. Berger's delivers good value for the money, but the customer service experience was not optimal.

Description of Work: Made a table protective cover to my specifications. Good quality but had a strong foul smell. We aired the cover in the garage for approximately 4 weeks before using it on our table.

Description of Work: They made a table pad for my 5 leaf dining room table. It fit perfectly and very well made.

Description of Work: Berger did a great job, the pad fits perfectly, a package was sent timely to do a tradeoff the table. Once they received it we spoke on the phone several times to make sure the measurements were correct. The follow up was perfect, they made sure everything was correct and I received the pad a lot quicker that I thought I would, I have used it several times already.

Description of Work: Above answers are on a 'so far' basis. We are mid purchase so the ratings are incomplete until we receive the finished product. The measurements are complete and sent to Berger. 4 - 5 week delivery was stated. So far they have been very good to do business with. Returning calls, sending the explicit directions for the measurements. Now we await the product. So far my daughter (her Christmas gift from me) and I are happy with service. Description of Work: Very easy instructions as to how to measure my dining room table and provided the necessary materials to make the pattern of my table. Sent off the pattern with the choices that I provided. ie..color of table pads (back & front) and any additional item I wanted to purchase and I received the pads back within a reasonable amount of time. The box was damaged upon arrival and one of the pads had a small dent on it but I was willing to live with it as it was the holidays and didn't want to hassle returning it for a new one. |Overall very happy with my purchase and the price that I paid.
