Becht Pride Cleaning Services LLC

We contacted Becht Pride Cleaning because a co-worker recommended them. The co-worker had already warned us and that contacting them and responsiveness to messages was a problem; however, we opted to meet with them anyway. Dave arrived to give us an estimate to clean our house. We explained that we were looking for a bi-weekly cleaning service, and we explained that we had several issues with our last company. Specifically, the prior service had dented our refrigerator (stainless steel) in two places and damaged our flooring along with not cleaning the bathrooms well. All of these concerns were discussed, and Dave assured us that would not be an issue with Becht Pride. He told us that the cost would be $100 for four hours of cleaning or $120 for cleaning until the job was completed, no matter how long it took. We opted to try them and selected the $120 option and gave him a set of keys that evening. Dave said he would follow up with us later that Friday evening or Monday at the latest to let us know if cleaning services would start in one or two weeks. The end of Tuesday rolled around, and we still had not heard from Dave. We sent an email and left a message. The owner, Ben, finally returned a call and said the service was starting that week on Thursday. The team was supposed to arrive in the late afternoon. We were in an appointment with cell phones off. We came out of the meeting to multiple messages. The first was that the team was stuck in traffic and would not be arriving at our house until 5:30 p.m. The second was that the team could not figure out how to get in our front (screen) door. After trying for 45 minutes, they said they were giving up and leaving. We have no idea what the team was doing because when we arrived home, we tried keys in the front door, and the door opened fine. We called Ben and explained that our door was working fine. We even sprayed some WD40 on it to make sure that there would not be an issue next time. Ben offered to have the team come on an "off day" for us, and we picked the following Monday. The team "cleaned" on Monday; however, it was not good. There was a huge dent in our stainless steel refrigerator. There was still hair and food particles on the floor. One bathroom had a scummy tub while the sink was fine, and the other bath was the opposite. The floor did not look like it had been vacuumed in some areas. Most annoying...we have a cat with a litter box area. The team had left the scoop actually in the litter box, so the cat could not use the box. We contacted Ben again and expressed our concerns. He said the issues would be addressed. The second cleaning date came approximately 10 days later. Same issues existed. The bathtubs were not clean. In fact, if you ran your hand over the surface, the soap scum was easily noticed. One sink area still had spots where it was not cleaned at all on the counter. Hair was still on the floors. This time, the cat litter boxes were not even put back in the right spots. Overall, it was simply terrible. We contacted Ben again and said we were immediately cancelling our service and that we wanted our house keys returned. Ben indicated he would mail them back the same week. We received a plain white envelope with no keys. Ben failed to put any padding or anything else in the envelope and just mailed a set of keys with a key ring on them in the envelope. It was damaged in the mailing process, and the keys were either lost or stolen. Since we have no idea what happened to our keys, our only option is to replace all the locks on our house in order to guarantee our house is secure. Overall, this was a terrible experience, and by far, the worst cleaning company we have tried. We would never recommend to anyone.

It went well. They were punctual, professional and efficient.

They had 4 person crew. They were on time, and did an amazing job! They did a thorough cleaning, cleaned our hardwood floors and did a great job also cleaning our appliances. Our house smelled great after they came in. This was our 1st time using them and they went over and above my expectations! We plan to use them again soon! Thanks Becht!

I have use them at least a half a dozen times now. They are very good. They are efficient, courteous, considerate, and their prices are very good. I will continue to use them.

The good: Becht's crews are capable of excellent cleaning. Also, Ben responds well to concerns...usually with a $25 discount. But that does not help me, as I would rather have the work done properly. The bad: Becht lacks in several very important areas. First is their reliability for arriving on time, which for me, has been a problem from the very first visit I used them. And Ben does not seem to be able to easily contact the crew leader and get a good "read" on when they will be able to arrive. It was so serious that...one Friday, at approximately 5pm, when the scheduled arrival time was 1pm, they were finally able to come...but we said no, because we didn't want them in our home during our Friday night family gathering. Another issue is the glaring items that remain undone, which indicates a lack of "final walk through" by the supervising crew member. Some examples include: kitchen two-bin trash drawer with one bin full of trash and other with no bag at all; guest bath cleaned with exception of filthy toilet; main floor area rugs with the same debris as before the cleaning; microwave left filthy one time...but not others. Lastly...on more than one occasion I had to listen to one crew talk bad about another crew (claiming they were better). These are the reasons that I will not be using Becht from this point forward.

It went really well. The ladies were very polite and worked hard the whole time they were here. They were done earlier than the time I paid for. I asked if the window blind cleaning that was on my list (last item) was done and they said yes. Only some of the blinds were clean. There were several that were not. Everything they did clean was perfect.

It went well. They were running a little late, but they called to let me know. They were very courteous and did a good job. I would recommend them to others. You may want to request the cleaning team I had, which was Jennifer's. I don't know about the other teams, but Jennifer's was good.

We use them every other week. We are not a huge fan. It costs $100 for their every other week visit. Their price is fine. We have called them a couple of times and they just never call us back. They are always nice-ish. We are going to get somebody else, we just haven't had time to do it. The first few times the crew they sent did an amazing job and then after that they just do it as quickly and as they can and then get out. We pay for an hour and they probably are here 45 minutes and do the bare minimum. We are never here, that's the problem. They come in and do it and my mom is here so I can't give them directions on what I want done. Then when I try to call they don't call us back.

This was a big deal purchase. It was fine. There was a problem -- the floor did not look great after the mopped it. I called them and they did send somebody back out to take out so I appreciated that. It looked much better after they mopped it the second time.

The professional hardworking ladies did a great job preparing our house for an upcoming wedding.

I wanted a person or company who would be willing to do just the two major upstairs rooms and hallway for me on a regular basis at a reasonable cost. I asked Becht, since I had purchased an Angie's Deal with them several years ago, and they did a very good job at that time. The response to my request was prompt and the terms to my liking. Paula and her team came this morning within the time frame given me and did a splendid job! In fact, they went above and beyond by cleaning things in the vicinity of that area that I hadn't even mentioned. Becht Pride Cleaning Services is going to come once a month, and I have asked that Paula's crew be the ones to come back. Great job girls! (There are three on the team, including Paula.)

This was my 3rd time trying this company. The first time was amazing and I was excited to have found a good cleaning service. I scheduled a second cleaning and a different crew came out. They didn't have the energy and motivation as the first crew. I asked them to clean under the furniture and was told "Maybe, we will try." There isn't much furniture and what is there is light. So, I wrote it off thinking the rest of the cleaning would go well. It didn't, so I sent a note to Ben, who schedules the crews. I just expressed my disappointment and asked if I could have the first crew that came out for the next appointment. There was no apology, just a yes. Again, I wrote it off. So, I make an appointment for the Wednesday before July 4th. We were having guests in and my dad was in the hospital so I was thinking this original team would have the house in tip top shape. The arrival window was to be between 9:00-10:30 a.m. I waited until almost noon and then sent a message to Ben. He said they had been out but no one was home. Our house was waiting with the front door wide open so he doubled checked the address and assured me the crew would be out. I had to leave by the time they arrived so I wasn't able to see how things were going. I received a call from the team leader asking about some clothes in boxes that I had outside. I happily gave them to her and she assured me different girls at the office could use them. So I had left the $100 check for the cleaning company and then a $28 dollar tip. When I finally get back home I was so dissapointed and eventually angry by the blatant disregard for cleaning. My young daughter had been having some bowel issues so the guest toilet had some visible marks that needed to be cleaned. It hadn't been touched and the sink was still dirty. I thought, with this obvious miss, I should walk around and take a look at things. I look and dining room wood floor is still dusty and it was easy to see no one wiped it down. I had asked again for the furniture be moved over to be vacuumed under. They had done it the first time they cleaned so it wasn't an issue of inability to move the furniture. It hadn't been moved, but I still had hope for the rest of the house. When I went in my daughter's room you could tell it hadn't been touched. Still little bits of trash on the floor and same with the bathroom. It wasn't even an attempt to pretend to clean it. So, I had asked for the main floor to be cleaned and I had even cut two of the rooms from the cleaning request. This assured that there would be more than enough time to clean the other areas. I then asked that the only thing done in the basement be the bathroom. I went down there and it hadn't been touched. I was so mad that I had paid $128 dollars and tons of clothes (by my choice) to people that didn't even attempt to clean a majority of the house. I wrote Ben about it and even sent pictures. I never heard back from him, again total disregard for the service quality provided. Needless to say, I will never use this service again. I'm not a complainer and it takes a lot to hear from me, but this was bad.

Two people arrived on time. I gave the team leader my written notes on what I wanted done and the order I wanted it done in. They got to work quickly. I wanted a detailed dusting as I suffer from asthma. I didn't think they would have time for 2 of the rooms which were small so I told them not to do those unless they had time. They had time. I asked for the team leader's name because I wanted to request them the next time. After they left I checked all areas and they were gleaming! Elisha and the other person did the best job of any house cleaners I have ever had.

The workers were very nice. Cleaned the house from top to bottom. They were very professional. Will use them again. Highly recommended.

I purchased four hours of deep cleaning as a surprise for my partner. On the day they were supposed to arrive, 10am-12pm, no one had shown up by 12pm, so I called and got voice mail. I called again at 12:30pm, voice mail. Someone called back shortly and said she was going to check on the cleaners and get right back with me. 1:24pm, still no return call. I tried calling back and their voice mail was full. I just called Angie's List to get a refund and don't plan to ever use Becht Pride Cleaning Services again.

I had not professional housecleaners for over a year, and had been trying to keep up with it all myself, so they had a little more to do than they would have if the home was being regularly serviced. I specified 3 major areas: kitchen, bathrooms, floors. I was satisfied with all 3 areas. They were able to get most of the hard water stains cleaned in the time allotted. Floors & kitchen are excellent. They worked a little beyond the initial hour, which I appreciated. They were a few minutes late beyond the original scheduled time, but the services more than made up for it. I will most likely be using Becht again for regularly scheduled housecleaning.

They were excellent. Top notch service.

Initially the services were supposed to be completed on 5/19/16 but there was a miscommunication with the cleaning crew and the job did not get completed. The owner and I spoke on 5/20/16 and he apologized for the crew dropping the ball and had them sent back out that day to complete the job. They did a wonderful job cleaning my home and more than what I expected. I am considering using them for bi-monthly services going forward.

This was my first time using this service. A group of four cleaners arrived at scheduled time. They immediately began cleaning and worked methodically for 60 minutes. They cleaned the kitchen including the outside of all appliances,counter top cabinet and sink. They completed the job by sweeping and mopping the kitchen floor. They thoroughly cleaned two bathrooms including a tub and a shower, all countertops and floors. They dusted in three bedrooms including dusting baseboards, pictures, ceiling fans and furniture, vacuuming area rugs and cleaning/dusting hardwood floors. They dusted in living room, dining room and family again including baseboards, pictures and furniture, Area rugs were vacuumed and hardwood floors were cleaned and polished. I was impressed with the cheerful attitude, professionalism, efficiency and team spirit of all the workers and will definitely use them again. Thanks for a great job!

They cleaned the three bathrooms which were outstanding. They did my whole kitchen including appliances. Overall dusting, sweeping, mopping and etc. I was very happy with the services and will definitely use them again in the future and recommend to others.

Maybe I am just too picky but I was not that happy. It was 6 hours, but three people showed up. They asked me to make a list which I did and I put plenty on the list enough for 6 hours. I mean even vacuuming would take a long time if done right. They were only here an hour and a half which is basically 4 and 1/2 hours. They said well we did everything on your list and they did but just a quick vacuum. Maybe I am picky but I want the edges done, when you hit a wall there will be crap all along the edge that you need to get with an edge tool which they did not do. They did everything on the list and it should have taken the 6 hours. They just did a light cleaning. A week later there was still dust and cobwebs in the door hangings. It should not have been up there if they took care of it. Every time I try to have someone clean the house I am not happy so its just me. I don't think the bathrooms and faucets are as clean as they should be. I expected them to contact me back, follow up or ask for more jobs and all I got was a thank you note. They were young and worked the whole time but left before the 6 hours instead of asking for more things. I could have written more of a list but they just checked everything and left. I am not complaining just not supporting them. They came out when I wanted them. They were very courteous.

They were supposed to clean my vacant house. Where do I begin...First upon asking if they could dust the baseboards and blinds I was told that between the 3 of them and 4 hours they wouldn't have time so about 20 minutes in, I found 2 of them congregating in the kitchen and inquired as to why this was occurring when as they stated they wouldn't have time to do dusting and one of them got angry and threatened to leave, I got a story from one of them, which made me feel so bad for her that i gave her a $10 tip, about their low wages. I have a 3 br 2 bath home. The 3 of them spent an hour and 20 minutes in 1 room a piece which I had to go back and clean myself. They vacuumed poorly, did no dusting that I could tell and the tub in one bathroom was still soiled, which one of them spent an hour on and I could have cleaned myself in about 15 minutes. NOthing but the kitchen floor (leaving out both bathroom floors) which is where the most senior of the girls spent their time was mopped and I still had to go over it. They never touched the blinds or baseboards. Mind you, this house was not terribly dirty and 3 people with an hour 20 minutes between them should've had the house sparkling clean. I will never use this service again as I don't have money to waste. I am sorely disappointed in the job they did and even feel taken advantage of. I don't know who cleaned all of these people's homes who gave them an A rating. I wish they had cleaned mine.
