I called to see about an estimate because I had gotten an estimate the day before and it seemed a little high. He actually had a cancellation, came over within 20 min, estimated about half of the other company, and had the work done in less than an hour. So happy!

Jeff did an outstanding job. For the past 4 months I have had a range of service workmen in to do major and minor repairs in order to get our house on the market and ready to sell. The frustration of having incompetent workers that may or may not show up when they say they will, and the ones that do show up that aren't capable enough to complete the job, it's a great pleasure to find someone like Jeff that shows up when he say that he will, takes great pride in his work, cleans up after himself, and does a high quality job. You cannot tell that there were ever gouges in either the sink or bath tub. We need more businessmen like Jeff.

The bathtub had been painted, and the paint was chipping. It was a mess. Jeff was easy to reach and immediately gave me a price and a date and time when he would do the job. He called the day before to remind me, as he'd said he would. He knew how to vent the area to minimize the fumes and odor. He outlined alternatives and discussed them thoroughly with me so I felt confident about how to proceed. He is a really nice guy and easy to have around, and he clearly knows his business.

Provider was unable to repair tub but did connect us with provider that did an excellent job of replacement. Plan on using this provider in our new house for tub repair.

Jeff Barrie couldn't make it on the first day scheduled, but called me ahead of time to notify me. He then called me back and re-scheduled on the next day. He called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. The work was done quickly and efficiently, as well as for the price promised. The repair seems to be holding up well, at least after a couple of weeks of daily use. Decent service at a fair price!

They both look brand new. The smell is strong, prepare to well ventilate your home for a day or so.

Jeff came out as scheduled to fill the holes and worked very hard to match the color of the tub. He was very patient as he worked to find just the right color match. It was very obvious he knew his business, and I am very satisfied with the outcome.

They were really outstanding. They were very good and did an excellent job. The tub looks sparkling and new. They were prompt and did exactly what they said they would do.

I am very pleased with the experience. Jeff was very responsive in communicating over the phone with me and was very prompt on the day of service. The entire process only took about an hour which was much quicker than I was expecting. The results speak for themselves: the tub looks very close to new, even though it's a 64 year old tub. Jeff Barrie returned my call the same day. After I described the situation, he was able to give me a quote over the phone. Jeff came to my house two days later right on time. He was very professional and assessed the situation. He explained the process he would do very clearly and within about an hour, I had a fixed tub! The 2 chips in the porcelain were virtually invisible to my eyes especially compared to what It looked like before. I was concerned about having different light coming in from a west facing window but Jeff matched the repair very well for any type of light.

There was some damage to the tub that they fixed prior to resurfacing it and he did an excellent job. They were very accommodating and worked around my schedule and it was not an issue whatsoever. I thought the price was very fair. I can’t complain at all with the job that was done, and you cane tell that he takes pride in what he does. I have already recommend him to others.

Called Jeff initially requesting a callback to discuss my bathtub that needed to be refinished. He called me right back; discussed the work required and gave me an estimate which was exactally the price charged. We set an appointment for 2 weeks out and said he would call me if he had a cancellation and could come earlier. He called a few days before to confirm day and time. Arrived on time and completed the work as scheduled. Jeff left me written instructions regarding care of the tub. He was very pleasant and professional to work with and would definitely use him again. I love using the tub again. Thanks, Jeff.

I had my tub refinished several years ago and needed it done again. Found Jeff on Craigs List, called, he quoted a price ($450 if I remember right) based on my description of the tub and what I wanted done, and set up an appointment. Not much more expensive than the cheapest number I'd gotten, and Jeff's on Craigs List with a great rating and the other guys weren't. Day of appointment, Jeff called ahead to let me know he was coming (on time), showed up on time, looked at the tub, and pointed out that it really didn't need an entire refinish job - the damage I had was relatively minor and he could take care of it for only $150. Jeff proceeded to rebuild the drain area of the tub, where the previous refinisher had created a low area and lip with the refinishing epoxy that resulted in standing water, touch up the areas that needed attentions, AND recaulk. Called him a couple of weeks later about a couple of spots that weren't covered very well - not sure if his compound thinned out as it dried or if I was just so impressed by his work on the drain that I overlooked them. Jeff came back and took care of them in no time with no problems whatsoever. Extremely pleased - Jeff is honest and fair, does quality work, stands behind it, and I'd recommend him to anybody.

Jeff was great to work with; followed up on the appointment date; called before he arrived and was on time. He evalutated the tub and the cost was approximately what was quoted on the phone. He arrived at 9:30am and was finished by 2pm. He explained everything he was going to do and why. Once finished he went over how I should clean the tub and what cleaners to avoid. The bathtub looks better than new. He did everything he said he would. I would recommend him to anyone. Just a side note the smell is strong so be prepared to have windows open and fans going however within 12 hours the smell was almost completely gone from my home. Also have an alternative shower/tub because the reglazed one is out of commission for at least 48 hours.

Jeff responded quickly to my initial inquiry. He was able to provide an estimate over the phone. The initial estimate was adjusted slightly when he arrived to do the job due to the amount of pitting. The job was completed quickly and efficiently with appropriate care taken to protect the area and provide adequate ventilation. He provided written instructions on care and I'm pleased to have a nearly new tub!

I was looking at spending $ 1500-$2000 to tear out and rebuild a 30yr old enamel/steel bathtub that was leaking on the floor of the tub due to several holes/cracks. The tub was elevated and to rebuild it would have been labor intensive. That's alot of baths to make up for the expense. Jeff Barrie came out and filled the holes and reglazed them for $150 and 6 hrs downtime. Looks great and good as new. Now that's service !!

Jeff did a good job. We did not want to replace the original tub but it has begun peeling, so we decided to resurface the tub although it was more expensive than we hoped. The result is nice. I hadn't anticipated some of the imperfections that arise in the finished surface when stripping and resurfacing a tub, but those are imperfections only apparent to me, the bather. Otherwise the tub looks good and we have no peeling!

The bath tub is very gorgeous! He gave me very clear instructions on how to maintain my bath tub's beauty. He was very personable and professional.

He called the day before to remind me that he was coming out, and arrived exactly on time. When he was getting ready to start, he said that he was going to see if he could simply clean the tub with some of the stuff he had and try to save me some money. It didn't work (which I didn't expect it to), but very honest of him to offer and try. What I was most impressed with was the time and attention he paid to taping off and covering anything that could have possibly been affected by any overspray. The tub now looks brand new, and he even came back the following week (free of charge) to install new drain hardware. This was a project that I had been putting off forever, partially because I was having trouble figuring out who to hire, but after re-joining Angies List and finding Bath Crest/Jeff, I couldn't be more pleased. If you need a bathtub repaired or reglazed, look no further!

I called Jeff on April 25, 2013 and left a message. He returned my call within a few hours that same day. We discussed the services that he would perform and we scheduled a date for completion of the work. He arrived at the scheduled time and completed the work. He was very couteous, professional and pleasant to work with. My bathtub looks brand new. It was a pleasure working with him. I definitely will refer him to my friends. Great Job.

Jeff started and finished as planed. All went well he left no mess. After he finished there was nothing to do except wait to use tub. Price was ok after shopping around.

It went well overall, and I would use BATH CREST again. Jeff was there on time and went right to work. After he was done, the work looked good but one tub he couldn't quite match the color. For what it was, I'm happy with the results.
