B & N Mechanical

Nick and another gentleman from B & N Mechanical came to our home in February to give an estimate for fixing our furnace, which had died but was under warranty. Our warranty company ended up choosing someone else to do the work, but I was impressed with Nick's professionalism & kindness. A few weeks later, our warranty company sent Nick from B & N to our home again when our washer stopped working properly. As before, Nick was courteous, called before showing up, and showed up on time. He quickly determined what the problem was and told me he'd call me to set up a time to come back out for repair. A few days later, I was on vacation, but Nick left a message saying he had the part & could come out any time. I called him back several days later, and we set up an appointment for 6pm the following Monday. Surprisingly, Nick never showed up that night. I called at 6:30 to find out where he was and left a message, but he didn't call back. I called the next day and left another message, but I never heard from him again. Thankfully, I didn't pay Nick the $65 fee the first time he came out for the estimate, as he said I could pay him when he returned to do the work. Otherwise, I would've been out $65 and still had a broken washer. As I said before, Nick was a nice guy, seemed professional, and was on time every time he showed up. But the fact that he never showed up or called back after setting up an appointment was a huge disappointment.
