Bernie of B & B Home Inspection Services has been absolutely awesome. A listing agent provided our realtor with an inspection performed on a property we were interested, and we were both impressed by the thoroughness of the report. Accordingly, when we made an offer on the first property, we requested he perform the inspection. In contrast to both of our previous experiences several years ago with other inspectors, Bernie spent the better part of five hours on the inspection. In doing so, he faithfully documented every problem, large and small, with the prospective property. It was $300 well-spent, as it saved us from buying a money pit which would have cost easily $30,000 in repairs. With the second property, which was more recently renovated and better maintained to start with, he repeated the thorough inspection, complete with suggestions for enhancement of the property. When the lender requested-and-required further inspection and testing, after the initial tests and inspection, he performed those as quickly as was feasible.
