Stay away, he's a thief!! Do not hire Mr. Yates. He contracted for the water heater and gave me a quote via text message. Then called back to tell me the water heater he initially spoke about was out of stock and would have to adjust the price upwards of $40.00. After installation, I texted because he 'forgot' to provide a receipt. I was told that I didn't need the receipt for warranty. BS. I communicated that I not only needed the receipt for warranty but also the rebate. Product purchased at Menards. He 'found' the receipt, brought it by. He infact purchased the cheaper priced water heater and pocketed the additional $40.00. When questioned, his answer was he didn't know until he arrived at the store that they had the cheaper heater in stock. My phone went dead, so the conversation was not complete. I texted him and asked about the return of my money. He never responded. I will proceed with other recourse. It's only $40.00 but it's the principle of the matter. STAY AWAY!!!!!!! He plans to expand his business to Atlanta and it's surrounding areas. If you know people there, advise him to stay away. I do and I will!!!!!
