It went superbly. Service is great, and the staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable about my vehicle as well as my spouse's. They are honest, no nonsense, and straight forward about the repairs that need to be done. I would say that they are on less than a dealer in price. We get a discount from AAA. We have been using ASG for about 20 or more years. As a woman, I feel I am treated with dignity and respect at all times by the staff. I have never, ever been talked down to by the repair people or the service advisors. They are there to answer any questions I have about my auto, or autos in general. Trust them completely and would not go anywhere else. They are stupendous to work with!

Very friendly and professional. They do quality work. I have been using them for more than 10 years. They maintain all of our cars. They kept me updated with their progress and estimate. Be on the alert for coupons! The car now runs very quietly and smooth. My wife is very happy that they were able to fix it, instead of having to get a replacement car.

ASG accurately diagnosed my car's problem, gave me solid reasons for engine replacement verses repair, and provided a reasonable quote for their services. The engine replacement was completed quickly and professionally.... and the car is now running like new. If you own an older Mercedes, ASG is a great alternative to high-priced dealership repairs without sacrificing service quality.

Automotive Service Group is excellent. They're very friendly, very personable and they did not charge me for something that didn't need doing which in automotive if you don't know a lot about it, it could happen. They were very upfront about it. All of my dealings with them have been very trustworthy and the repairs have been complete but I don't think that they're the cheapest out there.

They are really good. They are independent automotive guys. My experience with them has been really good. They made a diagnosis on my car and made the fix. But it didn’t correct the problem. They did everything they could to re-diagnose and correct the problem. They did that on their dime. It was very unusual. They are very responsible. The other nice thing that they have is the $15 rental car service while my car is being repaired. The rental is right at their shop. So it couldn’t be any easier. They are amazingly easy to work with. I would go to someplace else if I wasn’t happy. I would always use them.

It went very well. I originally was told by a car dealership that my vehicle needed new rear brake pads. My car had less than 25,000 miles on it, so I called Automotive Service Group (ASG) for a second opinion. They offered to inspect my brakes at no charge. When I took my vehicle in, ASG did research and found out that there was a class action suit for premature rear brake pad wear on my vehicle. The settlement entitled me to a refund of a significant part of the cost of replacing the rear brake pads. They gave me a 20% discount off the price the dealership quoted me. I was impressed by their thoroughness and honesty. They really earned my trust. I will definitely use them again in the future.

My daughter has a Volkswagen Jetta and we take it to ASG to service. They are very good at keeping her car running. They are good about fixing just what needs to be fixed and they don't push to fix things that aren't necessary. They notifiy me if something is coming up or something to watch but I'm never pressured. Their prices are great compared to a dealer. They also provide pick up and drop off service which is nice. I've used them many years and will continue to do so.

Everything went well. They always have the car ready when they say, they offer rides to and from the the shop if you live close, and they are consistently fair and honest about their services.

They are exceptional. That's the reason I go to them, despite the fact that they are way out of my way. I trust them. They've never tried to take advantage of me. I've used them for years and I will go that distance because I do trust them. They have done consistently outstanding work for me. They are one of the few auto companies that I know of where if you take your car there they will take you back to your house and then come and pick you up when they are done fixing it. They have a nice waiting room if you choose to wait. They have just been exceedingly good.

Had what was identified by my normal mechanic as a transmission seal leak, but they don't do transmission work. Checked around and checked Angie's List and recognized ASG, whom I had used several years ago. Got an appointment the day following when I called them. They were able to provide me an initial estimate first thing in the morning. Upon pulling the transmission, the actual problem was identified. The resulting fix and cost was in the range that I expected. ASG did a great job of analyzing and fixing the problem. I've been driving the car for a week now and everything is like new. I should mention this SUV has 94,000 miles and has done some towing, so transmission problems wasn't a surprise. The ASG group was very professional, as I recall from past use as well. They handled the work in a timely manner, especially working me in on such short notice. Highly recommend this company. Also, ASG took care of my front brakes. I knew the brakes were close to needing redone, but hadn't requested them to be done by ASG. Given the service quality I was receiving, I OK'd them to go ahead and redo the brakes as well. This saved me another trip to see a mechanic. The brakes were also done well and at a reasonable price.

I took my car in to get an entire power steering system replacement. They performed the service and everything seemed fine for about 3 months. Then the steering wheel began tightening up, so I called them and told them about it. They told me to bring the car in, and I brought it in a couple weeks later. They mentioned there may be a crack in the power steering fluid reservoir, but said they didn't know whether it was their mechanics or someone else that did it, but said it was fixed. Then over the next year, there was a slow gradual power steering fluid leak. I went back to them and let them know there was still a problem around late 2008. Again, they said they fixed the problem. A little over a year later, the leak started again, and it leaked power steering fluid all over my alternator. This caused me to have to replace my alternator, which put me out even more money. I've had to replace my alternator 3 times because of this power steering leak that AGS refuses to fix. I last took the car to them in late summer of 2010. It has only been driven for about 5 months since the last service, and the power steering has been leaking the entire time. The company refuses to give me any paperwork on the "service" they do. It seems like they're trying to avoid having a record of any work they've done for me. This company has refused to fix the same problem with a system they installed on my car. When I got the alternator replaced at another shop, the mechanic gave me a second opinion on the power steering system and said the pump was no good. ASG does not stand behind their work regardless of what "warranty" they offer. I would advise you to avoid this company at all cost. They promise things they don't deliver.

I've been going to them for probably 15 years. They are very honest and very reasonably priced. I would definitely use them again.

My first "introduction" to ASG was when my car battery died in my driveway. My husband was not able to "jump start" the battery so we knew it was a gonner. I called various auto service providers that advertised that they come to you, but they were either out of business, didn't call back, or didn't do that anymore. I called ASG-since they are very near my home, and asked if they would be willing to come replace my battery. They don't advertise this service but quickly agreed to come and help. They charged me for the battery and only 43.00 service! Within an hour of calling, I had a new battery. We then decided it was time to replace the timing belt on our van and decided to give them a try-they were much less expensive, and closer to home, than the other place we used to go. Other services usually need done when the timing belt is replaced so we had all of that work done. The timing belt, water pump, engine mount, and related expenses came to 755.80. The mechanic mentioned something about the heater valve looking like it needed replaced. I am normally a skeptic when it comes to recommended work but I had noticed the heater was not as efficient as it had been in the past so we scheduled that work for a few days later. Total: 112.93. Everything seems to be working fine and we will definitely use ASG again. Just a side note: their waiting room is fantastic! Clean, stocked mini-fridge (free), and a computer to use! We didnt' need to wait too long, as we live nearby, but the fellows at ASG are very proud of their waiting room and they should be! If I had to spend time waiting, I would be very comfortable.
