Augusta Underground did a fantastic job and the guys working on the job (Steve, Joel, and another whose name I didn't catch) went above-and-beyond to provide outstanding service! I'm happy to share some of the things they did they were outstanding: * Starting with lining up the job, their front office person, Heather, asked who else had bid on the job, and up-front told us that she wasn't sure they could give a lower quote as they knew that the other bidder was a quality contractor as well. So right away, their honesty was very comforting. * They were able to schedule the work and perform the job within just a few days, and it was a non-emergency job, so their responsiveness in getting things set up on their side was excellent. * They were able to install the clean-out closer to the backside of our house than the other bidder was going to do. * They were able to get their excavator up a steep short hill and excavate between a 10-foot stretch of land between my house and my neighbor's house (Steve is amazing!). The other bidder said he couldn't get up the hill for fear his equipment would tip over. * Our town hall had concerns about the existing sewer line and was initially not willing to issue the permit, but Heather worked really diligently with the permit office and even went down there in-person to work things out and get the permit in time to prevent unnecessary delays. * The guys were very conscientious about minimizing damage to both lawn and landscaping. They manually dug out some plants that were in the way and replanted them after they were finished. They also put down plywood to protect some areas of the yard before the excavator went across them. After the installation was done, they spread the excess top soil around evenly to make the area look nice and checked the slope to ensure that rainwater would drain adequately downhill towards the street. * They had to cut through two 4" lines of corrugated plastic (an underground gutter line and a French drain) to get the necessary access. They used their camera probe to examine the whole length of both lines and even showed me a spot where pine needles had plugged one of my downspouts. Joel cleaned it out for me as a courtesy. He also located where the underground gutter and French drain lines ran so that we could have that knowledge if we ever needed to do digging around our house in the future. * The guys on the crew were all very polite and courteous. They always knocked before coming in the house, consulted with us when needed, answered our questions, offered helpful advice, and got the job done on-time. They even worked without taking a lunch break! When I realized that, I went and got a late lunch for them as a small thank you for their hard work. I would definitely hire Augusta Underground again, and they will be the first ones I reach out to if I ever need underground work done in the future.

Augusta Underground Inc. exceeded my expectations. The work was completed so expeditiously that I was able to run errands during daylight hours on the same day the job was addressed. Also, the yard was left in immaculate order considering a hole was dug to replace the water pit. The only evidence of yard disturbance was the neat fresh looking mound of compacted dirt where the new pit was installed. I will definitely recommend Augusta Underground Inc to family and friends. P.S. I was even given a gratis bonus whereby they cleaned out a clogged basement drain since they on site. What service and generosity!

Agusta / Steve / Heather were very responsive and professional in handling our drainage project. It is apparent that they take great pride in their work. They even removed all of the flags that were planted all over our yard by the utility marking folks. In fact, they left our yard better than they found it. I would highly recommend Augusta.

It went better than I expected. It took 2 days to complete. 1 st day they complete everything digging outside and installing the pipe. The concrete needed to harden after it was poured. The second day my hot water heater was put back in and the water was working perfectly.

The sewer connection work with Augusta could not have gone any better. Over several years I received many quotes from various vendors and I'm so glad we chose Augusta. From the first phone call to email exchanges to on site communication they were professional, clearly communicated and answered my many questions. There are quite a few sketchy companies out there and I highly recommend Augusta!

Augusta was great! My exterior sump pump line to the storm sewer wasn't working the correct way anymore (water was ejecting from the secondary outlet outside my house). Augusta came in and diagnosed the problem and opted to bore a new line to the storm sewer. They noticed that my previous line was completed with black perforated drainage pipe, and switched it to PVC pipe. Except for the beginning (near the home exterior) and the end (near the storm drain) were the only parts disturbed in my yard -- no other digging was required due to how Augusta bored through the ground. They also paid great attention to the nearby gas main. Augusta connected everything properly, got permits, and had the city inspector come out to approve the connections. They filled in all places where they had dug and made it look very nice. Steve (the owner) also gave me a few suggestions to improve water runoff from my house. Very appreciative of the work Augusta did. It's been almost three months since the work was done (Oct 2017) and haven't had an issue. I thought the price was reasonable and I would call Augusta back for other work. Thanks Steve and Augusta!

It went great. They came on time, the communication was great - I left for 2 hours and when I came back they were almost done. They leave their work in perfect shape and in the best condition possible. I have to say, Augusta was the best company or service person that has ever come to my home and completed a large job without any pain. They were all respectful and kind and I can't say enough good about the entire crew. If you want excellence - call Augusta!

We were quoted $4,000 by a different company who said the sewage line from our house to city sewage was completely overtaken by roots and not salvageable. Augusta Underground came, cleaned out the line and found that the original clay tile from the house to the clean out (maybe 4-5 feet) were the only areas that actually needed to be replaced. Not only did they promptly show up, they completed the work quickly, had my husband look it over before covering it up, leveled out the dirt and seeded grass! Hands down Augusta Underground is the best company you could hire. High quality work at a very reasonable price.

Fixed all the underground drains from the downspout in need of repair. Redid the connection on my sump pump which was not done correctly by the previous landscaping company. They cleaned up nicely and replaced the sods. Will use them again for all underground drain or sump pump issues instead of landscaping company.

Steve and his company are top notch. I called him for and estimate and within 24 hours he was out with the estimate. He and his crew responded within 48 hours to get the repairs completed. Repaired the sewer, repaved and even built up my grass where it was damaged. Grass seed and hay. Who would have guessed.They had the estimate and repairs finished in 72 hours.

We are very happy with the work & the appearance of the yard. A crew of 3 worked 4+ days. They were able to schedule the work in the week we asked for and were always prompt & prepared. No unforeseen problems came up that we are aware of. Importantly, they checked the slope as they worked and were very thorough. The crew was very pleasant & responsive.

Augusta was by far the most reasonable in price among the three companies that bid the job. What's more, we felt much more comfortable that Steve, Augusta's owner, was much more experienced at the job than the others who came here. He was professional and courteous. The job was completed efficiently and without incident; the team even seeded the area that had been dug up with grass seed. We were very impressed and would recommend Augusta to others who need such work.

I was very pleased with the work. Augusta even trimmed some trees before starting the job in order to make room for their equipment. They installed a sewer clean out for me and stayed one evening until late to finish clearing out my line. I would recommend them to anyone and hope to have them put in a new water line for me next spring.

AU is one of the BEST, most professional companies I've ever come across. They had never worked with Hoof Grid before, but familiarized themselves thoroughly with both the product and installation specs. The project took a full week - excavating in tight quarters (the paddocks were already fenced in), laying stone, installing the grid/cow carpet and topping with stone. The very long swale was not only sloped perfectly, but was they finished it off by landscaping it with the stones we had gathered on our property. Absolutely top-notch job, couldn't be happier! Thanks so much again to Steve and the crew.

Excellent. Steve and his crew arrived as scheduled. They recommended the best solution, made the necessary modifications to our line and repeatedly tested the line to make sure it was functioning properly and to our satisfaction. They thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. We couldn't be more pleased with the results and their professionalism.

Work was well done, with clean up and restoration of ground well done. We are very pleased.

3 men showed up on time and repaired the pipe at half the cost of a plumber.
