I can't express how thrilled I am with this company. The customer service was terrific. Billy diagnosed the problem I had and and gave me a quote over the phone. I was so comfortable with his knowledge and professionalism, I dropped off my car to have the new stereo installed (without seeing the stereo or meeting Billy in person). The car was ready when he said it would be and the stereo is awesome. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have a stereo installed.

I sought product that would provide IPod compatibility with factory-installed premium-quality car stereo for my 2002 Outback. I used this vendor because of high rating in Angie's list and expected experience and expertise greater than what I would get at a big-box store. Audio Electronics rep. recommended Alpline "head unit" for dash that he said would work with the factory-installed amplifier. On first attempt, after waiting an hour, they discovered that they needed a cable that they did not have. I returned the next day after they obtained cable. Then after waiting another 1.5 hours, with the car torn apart, they informed me that the Alpine unit would not work with the existing amplifier and they would have to wire around it, but assured me that it would sound fine. I came back to pick up the car later and left town the next day with the car. It turned out that there were three problems with the product/installation: 1. the sound quality was noticably inferior to the factory unit, 2. the installation affected the automatic climate control so that when the radio was on, the temperature in the car dropped about 10 degrees, and 3. the radio overrode all IPod settings and setting the song list from the radio was far more cumbersome than simply using the IPOD to perform the same functions. I relied on Audio Electronics experience and reputation to provide a satisfactory solution and it failed, miserably. They agreed to replace the unit to its original state and refund the cost of the parts, but charged $55 for installation costs. That $55, plus several hours of my time over 3 visits was my cost to learn that Audio Electronics does not have the expertise that I expected from them. It was disappointing that that manager and owners of this highly-rated company was not willing to take responsibiltiy for their sales-person's lack of knowledge and errors.

I spent under $100 on that service. I have bought stereos there and spent several hundred dollars there and have been pleased. I have had them install speakers and sub-woofers.

Last August I emailed some questions to Audio Electronics trying to figure out about how much it would be to get the radio fixed in my boyfriend's vehicle. Bob was quick to respond and had me do a diagnostic test to help him get a better idea of what the issue might be. Ultimately he suggested I take the Jeep by the shop so he could take a look. After further discussion with my boyfriend, I found out he has the part on hand to fix the radio but just hasn't taken the time to do it. I'm giving him a few more months and then I'll likely bring it by for Bob to look at. Very professional, punctual and responsive.

I took the CD player in on a Friday and got it back the next day.

I read about them on angies list and read about other places. I had read about problems with integrating these starters into your cars electronic locks and security, etc could be a problem if not done by someone who was very knowledgable. I spoke with someone on the phone and got an approximate cost and set a date to go in. I waited for it to be installed. They were professional, they did the work quickly - took a couple of hours. They did convince me to spend a ittle more for the best system and I am glad that they did. When they were done, I had a question about the settings for my door locks and they made it the way I wanted it. My only complaint is that they did not really have a place to wait - I sat in a hallway off the showroom. I would definitely recommend them.

Everything went well. They obviously know what they are doing and don't try to sell you more than you need.

Called the company for a quote and information in early December. The call was answered quickly and professionally. They provided me with the information I was looking for and a firm quote based on my vehicle. We set an appointment at the end of the call. As agreed I dropped my car off at 9 am and they promised to have it done no later than 1. The store was clean, staff was professional and service was quick. They called me at noon and the car was ready. They explained how each of the newly installed items worked to me and my wife (for whom this was a Christmas gift). Everything looked good and they left the car in good shape, no boxes, refuse, dust, etc was left in the car. Highly recommend them.

Their price was too high so I didn't use them. The person I talked to seemed to be pretty helpful. I didn't use them so I don't know how reliable they are. Their price was high so I didn't proceed. I would use them in the future to get another estimate.

Everything turned excellent. They were timely and completed the job in one day. They also provided instructions on how to use the new system.

I visited the store on a Friday evening and selected the system I wanted installed. I then paid for the system and scheduled the install for the next morning. I arrived just before my appointment time and they took my car back immediately. There was a delay in getting my system installed, however, because one of the parts was defective and they didn't have another part in stock. The company located a part across town and sent someone to pick it up so that everything could be installed. In the end, what should have been a 4 hour install stretched to a 5 hour install. After taking the car home I realized that the time had not been set correctly on the radio. I called back on Tuesday and the salesperson gave me instructions to reset the clock without having to bring the car back in. The only issue I have is there isn't an adequate waiting room for those who are having their vehicles worked on. Only a few chairs in the showroom itself. Otherwise, everyone was very professional and friendly.

The visit was not productive because of my car's limitations. I would go back for other vehicles.

After getting a quote from the local auto dealer that was extremely high, I was actually referred to Bob at Audio Electronics as someone that was very reliable and less expensive. I was reluctant at first, but Bob assured me that I would be satisfied when everything was complete. He was right! They did a great job, at much less cost.

They did it very well, very quickly, and with a good price. They came in right at the estimate. They were very professional as well. We plan to hire them again to install an HD radio addition.

The DVD player in our Toyota Sienna minivan stopped working. We called several companies to get estimates of what it might cost to fix it. All the other companies said we most likely needed a new DVD player and that it would cost between $700-1,000. Plus, it would be a couple weeks before they could "work us in." Audio Electronics suggested we bring the car in the next day for them to take the DVD player out and see what was wrong for $70. Within an hour after arriving at the shop, Audio Electronics had pulled out the DVD player, opened it up, found a small gum wrapper one of my children had stuck in, put the DVD player back in, and had me test it. This was done for the one charge of $70.

They did their work promptly and as promised. Cost seems high, but was substantially lower than auto dealer service dept. quote for the same work. Unit works well, and dashboard was replaced flawlessly.

They are professional and explained the technical side of the radio well, which was helpful. They were prompt with their appointment time. ***Price reflects radio and installation.

Very professional. I was going to spend about $300, but added $200 for the Serius antenna and radio module (good upsell). They finished early and took the time to show me how to use it. It works and sounds great!
