Hiring this company for our move was one of the biggest mistakes we ever made. Their sales person named Tracy Roberts really talks a good game. She told us all about how great their employees were and how much care they would take with our most prized possessions. I will give her this. She is very good at what she does. It would be great if the moving crew actually lived up to even half of the glowing reviews Tracy gave them. My advice to anyone considering hiring this company is to run screaming in the opposite direction! The one thing Tracy got correct was that the moving crew would be on time. We were told they would show up between 9 and 10 AM. In fact, they showed up shortly after 8. It was all down hill from there. The crew consisted of Sean, Jimmy, and Jose. They came in and were very friendly. Then they proceeded to rush through loading the truck as if they had another job to get to. They left boxes that were packed and ready, two cabinets from the bathrooms, and lots of stuff in the garage. It took us five van loads to move all the stuff they missed. It was like they had a time when they had to be loaded and when that time came, they left.. Then at the house we were moving into, they proceeded to run through unloading as if they had a fire to go to. We did not realize all the damage they did to our possessions until they were gone and we began to assess what they did. The first thing we noticed was the damage done to our dining room set. This dining room set was in near perfect condition before this wrecking crew got a hold of it. The first thing we noticed was a chunk taken out of the edge of the table. They had very obviously not secured the load and allowed something heavy to fall against the table. Then we saw the scratches on the top of the buffet. This in spite of the fact that Jimmy and I had discussed the necessity for them to lift the China cabinet straight up instead of sliding it on the top of the buffet. Then as we began to unpack, we discovered that they had paid absolutely no attention to how the boxes were marked. They just put them wherever. Boxes marked "Kitchen" were in the master bedroom. Boxes marked "Master Bedroom" we're found in the garage. It was like that all over the house. We still haven't located everything. Boxes were found on their side or even upside down. These men had no more regard for our possessions than if they were all just garbage. There were numerous scratches, nicks, and dents in our furniture and other stuff. We only filed for the damage to our dining room outfit. The furniture repairman that Atlas Van Lines sent out to give an estimate on repair costs refused to give us that estimate or to give us a means of reaching him. They then proceeded to offer us $261.00 for the damage to our dining room outfit. We refused that amount and asked them to have our furniture restored to the condition it was in before their wrecking crew got a hold of it. They refused and just sent us a check for the $261.00. I know it will cost several hundred dollars to get the furniture repaired. So, if you are considering hiring this company for your move, my only advice Is DON'T!!!
Description of Work: We hired this company to move us only five miles from one Noblesville development to another.

To this point, they've been absolutely fantastic. I've been working with Gregory Hermance and he's gone above and beyond personal service.
Description of Work: They've been extremely patient with me while we researched other companies and have been fantastic about their personal contact. He came out personally to get the contract filled out and answer all of my questions. They actively worked to make sure that we get discounts. We got a bonded contract that is guaranteed to not exceed the quoted price.

It was a terrible experience. They did not shrink wrap any of my furniture. The even advised me not to wrap everything myself because they said they would take care of it.

The packers were not very good but the movers were good. They underestimated my stuff and they loaded it into 2 trucks. The first truck came then a week later the 2nd truck came and no one contacted us in between that time. The don't communicate well, we had to call them so many times. The people they assigned to us kept changing. It was frustrating.

We had 3 firms bid our move to Florida and Atlantic Relocation was the lowest - mostly because they underestimated the weight by many hundreds of pounds - even after visiting our house. Wasn't a problem though because we were only charged for the estimated weight. The other two firms bid much closer to what the actual weight turned out to be. There were a few minor instances of miscommunications between Atlantic and us but nothing major. Since we packed our own stuff boxes were an issue. Luckily, A.R. offered to give us all the used boxes we needed. All we had to do was pick them up at their warehouse. A major benefit - especially for the big wardrobe boxes. (For other boxes, we bought common ones at Home Depot for about a $1.25 each and mirror/picture boxes from a Up-Haul agency). The important part was the actual move and this is where we need to praise the couple who owned the truck, loaded it actually moved our stuff - David and Tamara Beard. They were punctual, professional and fun to work with. All of our items arrived on time and without any damage. If we ever have to move again, we will hire the Beards, no matter what company they are with at that time.
Description of Work: This was not an 'expense account' move so we packed our own items (except for some fragile items that we had Atlas pack) and hired Atlas, thru Atlantic Relocation in Indianapolis to actually load and transport it. We didn't use PODS or one of the similar services because of some heavy and valuable furniture.

It was a good experience. We had to store everything for 5 or 6 months. It really was remarkably good. We had very little damage and we were pleased.
Description of Work: They moved us from Carmel to our present address.
