Bill is a good salesman. He got me. Said he had a guy who does good custom work. I wanted a framed in fence. When they set the posts they weren't square. Rhey went 4 feet into my neighbors property. They fixed that. Less than a year later i have boards warping all over and today i came home to find framework laying on the ground. What kind of carpenter doesnt use wood glue? I have called several times and left messages and they do not return them. The worst part is i referred him to a friend and now my word is on the line.

What a great experience. My only regret was not getting to meet any of the people face to face. We discovered that a stretch of our 6' cedar fence was leaning due to what looked to us like a rotted post (treated, but rotted anyway . . . .). The older man who put the fence in had since retired and closed his company. I called several other fence companies from Angie's List, but everyone was either too busy for such a small job, or too far away to want to take it on. I understand that, not complaining, but it meant I had to go back and troll the pages of fence companies and hope for the best. Not only did Bill agree to have someone come out and estimate the work, but with all the crazy weather and few sunny days to get work done in, he fit us into his busy schedule right away. He gave me an approximate time frame when the repair could be done, and also advised us that we had three rotten posts, not one. I came home one day to discover that the posts had been replaced and my yard left nice and clean. I especially liked being able to get the invoice via email, and paying it online. Not only would I use Arty's again, they will be the first place I call if I need anything like this done in the future.

Due to the cold and snow our date was delayed, but I was impressed they were able to get it installed when they did. The weather was not cooperating, but they still managed to get the fence in. Very happy with the results.

Bill and his crew did an excellent job. They were on time, professional, and did exactly what they needed to do to get the job done.

After calling around and checking with Angie's List I decided to have several companies out for estimates to install a new fence in our back yard. Of the three estimates Pratt Fence and Deck was the middle estimate (they were all within $200). There was a five week wait, after all it is Spring, and I ,like everybody else, never even thought about replacing the fence in the Winter. When they did come to do the install there was a problem with a tree location. They offered a few solutions and took care of the "problem" without any additional drama. Professional guys. Excellent work. They even spread out the dirt that was displaced when digging the fence posts. If every contractor was as good as these guys, life would be a lot easier. ,

I had a deadline in getting the fence installed. My husband suffered a stroke this past year. We purchased a large dog which is being trained for Service/therapy. Needless to say, timing was critical for us to obtain fencing for our yard. I solicited several other fence companies. I had never installed a fense before and the staff at Pratt offered guidance as to items to consider regarding space selected. They won the bid due to their pricing, quality and ability to respond. Very pleased thus far.

When they built the deck they were professional, punctual and built the deck to our specifications. Part of their "warranty" is that they will come back in a year to replace any pieces of wood that have warped or if you have issues with nails popping through. When we called to report that we needed one board replaced(and we did call within the year time frame) we had to keep calling them back over and over. The board was eventually replaced this summer(2010)...not the most responsive business we have dealt with.

Good price, nice guy for bidding the job but never returned calls or email.

They were very responsize, quick and did EXCELLENT work - they were very reasonable and very professional. If I ever need fencing again, then I would definately use them - I couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience!

He built fence for me in the past and did a great job with that too! He used trex composite on the top of my deck which worked out really nice. I told him how I wanted it built, and he did everything to my specifications and finished the job in 3 days. I'd use him again and highly recommend him to others!
