I think it went well. I could not tell if some parts of the yard were done. I will be watching for new grass to show up.

Arrived on the day we scheduled. Got the job done in reasonable time. Was pleased with the job.

I was very pleased with Arbuckle's responsiveness and the work that was performed. They called me to schedule the appointment and then I was called a few days before the appointment to see if we could move up the time because we'd finally had some rain and my yard would be just right for the aeration. This was agreeable and the work was completed on a Sunday. He did not use a drag behind a tractor plugger, rather, he used the plugger that drags you across the lawn....consequently , he did a very thorough job. He then seeded the lawn with a crank spreader. When done, he told me to water the seed in if we had no rain next couple of days.

I purchased an Angie's List Deal for lawn aeration and overseeding for $79 by this provider. Overall I have no complaints and would certainly buy this deal again in the future if it were offered. I am very pleased with the promptness in which Michael Arbuckle returned my phone calls and in his ability to accommodate my preferred date of service. If I could be picky it would have been nice to have some options offered regarding types of grass seed even if it would have added a little to the cost, but for the price it is a very fair deal.

It worked out great. They were quite professional and I was happy with it. So far, so good, he stopped a couple of times and answered my questions. I was very satisfied and I can't say anything bad about it.

Young man introduced himself, he explained what he was going to do and asked if we had any questions. He aerated the yard and seeded both the back and front yard. He was here approx. 30 minutes and even answered questions we had about our yard.

It was fine. I guess the only complaint I have is that they scheduled it for the afternoon and they showed up first thing in the morning. A little bit of a surprise but at the end of the day they did the job okay. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. The ground was pretty hard and they came and did the aeration anyway and it was okay. I recognize that they've got a schedule and what not of people that they're providing service to but it would have been helpful if they had come and said, "Look the ground is too hard. Why don't you water it or wait for some rain and we'll come back another day and do it." That's probably pretty difficult for them to do recognizing that they probably had a bunch of people that they were trying to provide the service for.

They contacted me promptly after I bought the groupon, showed up when they said they would, and did a great job. I was happy to see that they didn't hit any of my sprinkler heads (per their request I marked them), and they swept up the main walkway after they were done. Overall great job!

They came out to aerate and seed the lawn. Service was performed in a timely manner. As all work was performed outside, I never spoke with anyone directly. We were satisfied with the work performed.

This was an Angie's List Big Deal, a supposedly $150 service for $79. The company was prompt at contacting me after the purchase and scheduling the treatment, answering all the questions I had at the time. They showed up on the scheduled day, having told me it was not necessary for me to be at home to complete the job, although I happened to be there and spoke with the two workmen before they started. They completed the work and were pulling away as I walked out to check on the status. I asked if they had overseeded, since I couldn't see any seed where I was standing and was told that they did. I later walked around the yard and could see seed in some places and not in others that looked rather bare, so did not know if they ran out of the 5 lbs of seed that was allocated to the Big Deal or if they just skipped those spots. As it turned out, the overseeding was rather a waste, because I could not tell the areas where I would need to water so that the seed would germinate. They also did not aerate a portion of the lawn. Perhaps they thought the size of the lawn exceeded the 11,000 sq ft allocated to the Big Deal, but they did not say anything about that and I do not think the lawn is that large. I would consider using Arbuckle's again, but I would ask more questions and get more specifics. If I had paid the full price for the service, I would not have been very satisfied.

I think it's fine, my husband really dealt with it. We were pleased with what he did. We thought he did a very conscientious job.

I would have liked more thoroughness. It is not a service I would pay for in the future.

My front yard slopes deeply and I mowed it for years. I finally decided to put down groundcover. I called several landscaping services requesting quotes and told by some that they did not come south or go north. I live in downtown Indianapolis and from those responses, I was beginning to think I live in either Carmel or Greenwood. However, I did manage to meet with a few one of them being Arbuckle Nursery. My main contact was with Richie Maldonado who was very nice, very professional and very knowledgable in regards to landscaping and what plants worked best for my specific situation. He didn't try to hard sell me and he listened to what my thoughts were in regards to different plants I researched for groundcover. He took the time to explain about each plant and along with that shared his ideas. We discussed price but I was already sold because of how he treated me and how he really listened to me and explained, or a better word would be educated me about the plants as well as other optional plants that could work. He left me with a feeling of trust and I knew that I would get good service from this company. He was even willing to use some plants I originally purchased and integrated them into the flower bed they created on the side of my house. When they completed the work, I was really happy with how it looked. I look forward to next spring when my front and side yard will be filled with beauty. Richie advised me on how to water everything and made himself available if I had any questions. There were a few days of extreme heat/humidity and a few periwinkle plants couldn't handle it and started to wither away. I called Richie and he came back out to check on how everything looked. He agreed that due to the heat that was why some of the plants did not survive. Plus he was not happy with how the fertilizer used to kill the grass was working. He agreed to come back out to spray the grass and once he was satisfied that how the fertilizer worked, he and his business partner would come back out with replacement plants and that is exactly what they did. I can not believe the wonderful service I am receiving from this business, especially in this economical climate. Some businesses, once they get your money, are done. No follow-up or anything, you just don't hear from them again. I've am very fortunate that I have found businesses through Angie's List that believe in doing a good job and they care that their customers are happy. Arbuckle Nursery and Landscaping is one of those businesses. When I find a business like that, I spread the word to my friends, co-workers, and anybody that asks. Word-of-mouth is and will always be the best marketing for businesses that continue to do great work.

I was very pleased overall with the work that was completed. They spread new grass seed and fertilized a large portion of my backyard where several large trees had been removed. They covered the entire area with straw and now I have a beautiful lawn!

From what I could tell, it was done in a professional manner. The two workers observed the areas and details marked for the wireless pet fence and performed the work in a timely manner.

A rep from Arbuckle Nursery & Landscaping called to tell me when they would be coming to my house to do the job, but the time was not convenient for me, so I called back and asked if it could be rescheduled. I was called to learn it could be done according to my request. Two guys did the job quickly, neatly and professionally. This was the second year Arbuckle aerated and over-seeded my yard. I used them initially because of the Angie's List special pricing, but will now use them whenever I want this service done. I also chose Arbuckle to apply mulch and clean-up around my shrub beds this spring. They are affordable and do a great job.

They did what we expected. Their was no mess. Lawn looks much better this year.

I purchased the big deal for $79 for lawn aeration and overseeding of up to 1/4 acre by Arbuckle Nursery. I called to set up an appointment for around noon on Thursday, 9-12. When I hadn't seen or heard from anyone by 2:00 that day, I called the office and left a voicemail. Ritchie promptly returned my call and apologized, saying everyone who was scheduled for that week was supposed to have received a call saying the ground was too hard due to lack of rain and would need to be rescheduled. I told him I had not received a call, but that we have an irrigation system and I had been watering to make sure the ground would be soft enough for them to aerate. He told me there would be no problem for them to come the same time the following day (Friday). Friday morning Ritchie called to confirm they would be out at about 1:00 that afternoon. At about noon, Ritchie once again called to tell me they were leaving a job site and were on their way. They arrived right at about 1:00 and promptly began aerating and overseeding the areas I had shown them. Afterwards, they took a shovel and scraped up any dirt plugs that happened to fall on the drive or sidewalks. Both men were very courteous and diligent and seemed to take pride in their work. I would use them again!

They we're very professional, timely, and especially accommodating. They made two trips to complete the service to accommodate the need to have two people carry they equipment up a set of stairs to enter the back yard. This was by there suggestion in order to complete the service and wasvnotvat my request. I wasn't expecting the great service to complete the back yard especially as it was at the big deal pricing. Very satisfied with the work performed.

They were easy to get a hold of and schedule. They just told me what day they would be on my side of town and did it that day. I would have liked a better quality grass seed, but overall it was a good experience.

Our garden is not that big so they just charged how much mulch they put in there. The price was fair. We called several places and a lot of them were higher than this company. I called them and when they finished the job, they put the billing in my mailbox.
