ARBUCKLE NURSERY & LANDSCAPING

I was looking for someone to give me an estimate for my yard to landscape/top soil/flowers etc. I contacted them via email, and I received a response somewhat promptly. I was told the gentleman would come out once they were done with their job. I was told they were a small company and did estimates in the evenings or on Sundays. We had scheduled an evening. I waited all evening, and the gentleman finally called at 8:30 pm to tell me his job ran late and couldn't make it. We planned for the next evening, so I waited once again. This time no phone call and no show. I sent a message through Angie's List messages, and no one replied. I did receive a call the next day with the gentleman apologizing and asking if we could try again. At this point, I said no. I understand this is a busy time of year and many landscapers do their own work. In this case, a phone call sooner with an update of arrival or delay the first evening would have helped. Just calling the second evening would have been even better. Once again at this point, I didn't feel they wanted my business at all nor did they try to get my business. I was very disappointed and wanted others to know what to expect. If you don't have time to give free estimates, then don't advertise you can.

I think it was fine. They were prompt. They came when they said they were going to come and they returned the calls so they were good.

I'm assuming they did a good job. They came out with their little machine and went with the yard thoroughly. That's all I remember. He just met me at the door and told me they are here to do the service. I really didn't talk to him anymore.I'll just take their word that they did what they were supposed to.

They were very prompt and responsive in coming out to assess my needs and offer a quote to install 3 gardening beds around a fence line and a deck. Additionally, I had them remove some leaves. They came out and installed 2 gardening beds but forgot the 3rd. I had to call to remind them about the 3rd. My main complaint is that they put the soil on top of the existing grass and it didn't appear that they did any edging which the quote said they would. After calling them, they said they would come back out and pull the soil back to show they did in fact edge. With regard to putting the soil directly on the grass, they said this is their normal practice. However, the soil has started growing back through in certain sections and doesn't provide the type of clean start to a gardening bed that I prefer. I would possibly use them again, but would have to be very clear in my expectations.

The service was good but his machine was not very good. He fixed the machine and continued the service. The problem could be my land because it's a very new land. Our house is a little new. The ground is very hard. Maybe that's the reason his machine was broken. The service was performed shortly after the deal was purchased. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. The guy was very nice and the price was good. Maybe if he could purchase a new machine it could be better.

It was great! They were very punctual. I had asked that since my front yard had been recently sodded & the back was seeded if they could please go over the back twice & skip the front. They were very accomodating & happy to do so. I have a difficult yard and they did a great job.

This is the second year we have used Richie and his company. They are prompt, courteous, professional, a true pleasure to work with! They did a great job cleaning up and making everything look great. Keep up the outstanding work!

Very happy with the work. Hope to have Arbuckle's take care of my landscape again.

Michael inspected our shrubs and said they weren't dead just hurt by the winter. Told us how to cut them back for optimal new growth. He could have have handled this so differently. There was no charge!

Every experience with Michael is great. He is able to find some hard to find trees for us. He is very quick to respond. Always prompt and professional. We recently had some trees not make it due to the harsh winter. I called Michael for feedback if there was any hope to restore them and he was very prompt at helping with the issue.

The work was fine but I wasn't overly impressed. They didn't communicate very well because they came out without contacting me. They were surprised that I had a sprinkler system and ended up doing the work the next day.

The airation went fine. I thought the offer was to overseed the entire lawn, I may have missed the details in the offer? Grass seed was applied only to a couple of bare spots in the lawn. The seed has not germinated and I still have the bare spots this spring.

They did a good job. They were real quick on the job. They were really pleasant to work with.

It was fine. Nothing stood out about them I just felt like they could have done over. They weren't bad, they weren't great...they were just medium. My interaction went perfectly fine. They were good. They were courteous. They didn't do as much as I would have done.

Provider was professional and arrived on time. Sent several emails reminding of appt. was knowledgeable and gave goo dead vice on how to care for new yard.

It wasn't fantastic but it wasn't bad either.

It went well and we were happy. We'd use them again. They were friendly and easy to work with.

They met what we expected them them to do. Scheduling was fine. The treatment was effective in jump-starting new lawn growth. Communication was also fine with them and the price was reasonable.

Showed up on time and did exactly what was asked. Improved the performance of our grass.

They were not very personable, but completed the job.

Prompt response to our Big Deal purchase. Easy to work with. Arrived on time and did a thorough job.

It went fine. We had no problems. They came out quickly and did everything did everything they were asked to do. They came out pretty quick. They were very courteous and nice. We have no problem recommending them.

The services from Arbuckle Nursery & Landscaping went fine. If I recall he had to reschedule because he was a little backed up, but other than that he came and did what he promised to do. I picked them because I had a good price on the big deal. He called and let me know that he would not be there on the day originally planned.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they did a great job. They had a good rate and he came in and did not break any lines as far as dog fencing or anything like that. The person who came out was neat and cleaned up afterwards. The final cost was right on the original estimate.
