Stacie Johnting, with Appraisal Source, Inc., was very professional and knowledgeable. She explained her process clearly, answered all my questions and completed her appraisal in just a few days. The documents she sent were thorough and succinct. She was great to work with and I will definitely hire her again. I've been recommending her to friends as well.

Stacie did a great job, for a fair price. She did a thorough inspection of the home, took photos, measured rooms, and provided an accurate floor plan that we did not already have. Then she analyzed comparable homes in the area and provided us with a written report that will help inform our listing price and potentially the price that buyers will be willing to offer. Everything was done in about 24 hrs. I couldn't be happier, and highly recommend.

We just recently become involved in turnkey real estate investing and living outside the Indianapolis area we saw the need to build a team of people who can act as our eyes and in our interests when purchasing rental properties. For our first two inspections we would be present so that we could become introduced and familiar with the process. In our face-to-face meeting we found Stacie to be easy to communicate with and clear in her explanation of what her service entails and her process. For our latest inspection request we were not going to be present but felt comfortable that the inspection would be conducted in a professional manner and we were not disappointed. From this point on when ever we are considering the purchase of a rental property we will be calling Stacie for an appraisal.

I found Stacie through Angie's List and this was my first time working with her. She was awesome! Not only was she able to get our appraisal performed on a quick deadline, but she also rescheduled a duplicate appointment when the seller and her Realtor had a miscommunication and failed to give us access to the home. She could have easily charged us an additional fee for this 2nd appt but she chose not to. The appraisal was completed a couple days later. Extremely efficient and knowledgeable in her field, I would not hesitate to hire Stacie again! A+

Stacie's appraisal was almost exactly what the house sold for, due to the time between the appraisal and sale the house sold for more then she estimated. Her report was through, concise and professionally done. I very good value for the cost.

Very Well. The appraiser came to the house , walked through the house and around the property. It took about 30 minutes. The had no questions for me. We received the written appraisal in about 3 days.

Stacie is most professional, arrived early, completed the full interior appraisal and pictures of home as well as outside of home with pictures. She provided us with a thorough appraisal with comments. She had the appraisal to us within 24 hours of completion. I would definitely hire again and recommend her to family and friends.

Stacie was promp and professional at every point of contact. Onsite residential appraisal was conducted on a Wednesday and her report was delivered on Thursday. Stacie's report was thorough and clear. From all accounts, I've heard that appraisals in Zionsville Village are very challenging and vary greatly based on an appraiser's familiarity with this unique market. Stacie was able to provide real world value that took into consideration only village residential comps.

Stacie met our needs in every way. She accommodated our availability when setting up an appointment. She was professional and offered helpful advice during the appointment. And she met the 2 business day timeframe that she promised for providing her findings and report. I would highly recommend her and Appraisal Source.

Stacie was very professional. She promptly responded to my initial call and we arranged a mutually agreeable time about a week and a half later. She arrived at the home on time, evaluated the home and property in about 1 hour and sent me a detailed report a little over 24 hours later. The report contained many details regarding the home and showed the market prices of similar homes in the area. I feel reassured that I will be paying a fair price for this house.

She appraised the property for the same amount the realtor had estimated it would be worth, even though neither new of the value the other had determined. This shows me they both are accurate. Buying and/or selling a home can be an emotional roller coaster. You want the best value for the smallest price. But, who determines that price? As a FSBO who has a real estate license and an auctioneering license, I know the ins and outs of selling - and buying. But, it's an emotional process even if you are trained! That's why I hired Stacie Johnting to evaluate a home I plan to list. Now, I will admit, I had hoped my home of 20 years would come in a little higher than the appraised value - but again, I hired Stacie to take "hope and want" out of the equation. I NEEDED a fair market value appraisal, and I feel that is what I received. Stacie took the time to do the pre-research, measured my home room by room, and worked overtime to try and find comps that would create a good snapshot of homes that have sold in my area recently. So, I suggest you hire Stacie if you want to truly know the market value of your property. Do NOT hire Stacie if you are in love with your home and want her to appraise it for what you "want" rather than the actual market value. Appraiser's are professionals, they do not inflate the value of your home just because you paid them. You are paying them for their expertise, and because you are interested in selling your home quickly for a fair price. Or, because you are buying a home and don't want to overpay. Again, I appreciate her diligence and look forward to working with her on my next transaction.

We set up an appointment with Stacie Johnting from Appraisal Source Inc to appraise our home prior to listing it for sale based on the previous reviews on Angie's List. We live in a neighborhood that has not had any recent homes on the market and is in a somewhat tricky area to find comparables. We were very pleased with her work. She arrived on time for the inspection and spent over an hour going through the house, taking measurements of the rooms, noting updates and spent a lot of time considering the area and home features. Stacie sent our 21 page appraisal that had extensive detail and explanation of factors driving the appraisal one day later. She was efficient and very professional. Highest recommendations.

Stacie showed up promptly at scheduled time. Immediately informed me of the process she would use in appraising the property and asked if I had questions before starting. She asked all the right questions and was very professional. We received the appraisal the very next buss day (sooner than expected) and was at the mid to upper end of expected range.

Stacie was very helpful in answering questions that I had about the appraisal process, even prior to hiring. On the day of the scheduled appraisal, she was very timely and professional. She asked good questions about our home's features to help differentiate it from other comparable homes. She was very thorough as she went through the house, but still very quick (she was in our home less than an hour). A complete report, featuring the appraised value, details about our home (basis for the appraisal), and comparable home values in our neighborhood was emailed to me the next day. I was quite happy with the service we received.
